1.Observation on the short term effect of oral antibiotic at different times on the treatment of invasive periodontitis
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2017;37(8):306-307,311
Objective To explore the short-term effect of oral antibiotic at different times on the treatment of invasive periodontitis. Methods 78 patients with invasive periodontitis from November 2015 to March 2017 were enrolled in this study. Randomized method was used to divide the patients into the observation group and the control group, 39 cases in each group. On the basis of the basic treatment, the observation group were received amoxicillin and metronidazole after oral prophylaxis, the control group were received amoxicillin and metronidazole after subgingival scaling. The plaque status before and after the basic treatment and the efficacy in the two groups after 8 weeks were compared. Results The plaque in the two groups was significantly improved after basic treatment (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the probing depth and the loss of attachment between the two groups. The bleeding index in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). The probing depth in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion On the basis of basic therapy, taking antibiotics has a better therapeutic effect on the patients with invasive periodontitis. Antibiotics is use after oral prophylaxis is better than it used after subgingival scaling, which is worthy to be popularized in clinical practice.
2.Isolation of Ribosomal subunit 50S from Proteus Vulgaris by Sepharose CL-2B Column
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(04):-
With a favorable result, we applied Sepharose CL-2B column to the isolation of ribosomal subunit, 50S, from P. Vulgaris cells. This report presents a simple and useful method for preparative separation of subunit species.Ribosomal preparation 225mg (wet wt.) was loaded on Sepharose CL-2B column (inner diameter 20 mm, gel column height 46 cm) which had been previously equilibrated with pH 7.5 Tris-buffer containing Mg2 + O.OOlM and KCl 0.1M. The column was developed with the same buffer. Elution was carried out with a flow rate of 12 ml/h. The adsorbance of the eluate was measured at 258hm. Two peaks were obtained in elution development. The result was checked up to be identical with that observed in ultracentrifuge analysis.According to the proteins contained, the percent recovery of subunit species was 91% in approximate estimation.
3.Application and Mathematic Analysis of Fourier Transform in MRI Technique
Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(12):-
Fourier Transform plays a very important part on spatialization and reconstruction of MRI. Advanced mathematic analysis makes us understand the concept of Fourier Progression and Fourier Transform, and some concrete applications of Fourier Transform on the MRI are listed.

Aim To explore the protective effect of ac-tive components of Xiaoxuming decoction ( XXMD ) on focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury in rats dur-ing early recovery period .Methods The ischemia and reperfusion of middle cerebral artery model rats were established by nylon wire with 2 hours ischemic time on healthy male SD rats .The models of MCAO were eval-uated by Zea-Longa′s standard score .The model rats were randomly divided into sham operation group , the ischemia/reperfusion model group , the active compo-nents group of Xiaoxuming decoction and the positive group (extract of ginkgo biloba leaves EGb 761).Rats were orally administrated with different drugs 24 h after operation for up to 14 days, once a day.The effect of active components of Xiaoxuming decoction on behavior changes of MCAO rats in different recovery period was evaluated by a series of behavioral assessent methods such as modified neurological severity scores and cor-ner test. The infarct volume was observed by TTC stai-ning.Moreover, the contents of MDA and the activities of GSH-Px, SOD and NOS in the penumbra and core tissues of rat brain were detected by spectrophotometric method. Results Compared with the I/R model group, the active components group of XXMD could significantly alleviate the neurological deficit scores with prolonged administration . The motion function tended to be normal , stayed longer on the balance beam, sensory function gradually restored sensitivity , reduced the radio of turning to the right .Among them , compared with model group , the active components of XXMD could effectively improve the neurological dys-function after five days of administration ( P<0.05, P<0.01).Meanwhile, the active components of Xiaox-uming decoction could significantly reduce the infarct volume percentage in the cerebral tissue on post opera-tion day 5 and 14(P<0.01).In addition, the active components of XXMD could reduce the content of MDA and the activity of NOS , increase the activity of SOD and GSH-Px.Conclusion The active components of XXMD can generate neuroprotective effect in early stage of recovery and may play a major role in regula-ting the level of oxidative stress in rat brain .

Objective To amplify and clone human lrg and to predict its function by bioinformatics analysis. Methods The human lrg was amplified by RT-PCR, then identified by sequencing. Function of human lrg was predicted by bioinformatics analysis with Internet and GenBank database. Results The human lrg was amplified and sequenced correctly. Leucine zipper was found in the human lrg series that may have an important function. Conclusion The human lrg gene has been successfully subcloned and its function has been predicted. The result of the present paper will provide data and evidences for the further study on function of human lrg.
