Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2021;45(5):503-506
OBJECTIVE:
To develop a self deep breathing training device which can improve lung function compliance and blood oxygen saturation.
METHODS:
The device consists of four parts:flow tube, measuring cylinder, mobile phone holder and meridian guidance audio-visual synthesis training software. The flow tube measures the flow rate of inhaled gas, the metering cylinder measures the total amount of inhaled gas, and the mobile phone rack is equipped with a mobile phone storing the meridian guidance audio-visual synthesis training software.
RESULTS:
The device is reasonable in structure and flexible in operation, which can meet the requirements of self deep inspiration training under the guidance of training module.
CONCLUSIONS
Deep inspiration training under the guidance of guidance training module can form "deep and slow" abdominal breathing, and then improve lung function.

OBJECTIVETo assay and study the microwave leakage of 4 types of interphones.
METHODSThe radiation intensities of four types of 199 interphones were determined by the microwave leakage measure instrument of model ML-91 made in China.
RESULTSThe average intensities of microwave leakage at a distance of 5 cm from aerial part and other parts of interphones during launching [(1 316.0 +/- 144.3), (971.0 +/- 131.6) microW/cm(2) respectively] were significantly higher than during waiting [(14.4 +/- 5.3), (13.2 +/- 4.9) microW/cm(2) respectively] (P < 0.01). The average intensities of microwave leakage at a distance of 50 cm from different parts were (357.3 +/- 27.8) microW/cm(2). The daily average intensity of microwave leakage to which the head, chest and abdomen exposed was (945.5 +/- 447.1) microW.h/cm(2) in total, that exceeded the hygienic standard of microwave in China (400 microW.h/cm(2)), during the normal communication by interphones.
CONCLUSIONThe microwave leakage was higher during launching than during waiting, and was the highest at the aerial part of the interphones. The microwave radiation of most interphones was higher than the current national standard. It may lead to potential effects on the owner of interphone, so protection against it should be made.

3.Mobile phone based wireless microscopy imaging technology.
Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2011;35(2):79-82
This article proposes a new device named "Wireless Cellscope" that combining mobile phone and optical microscope together. The established wireless microscope platform consists of mobile phone, network monitor, miniaturized microscope or high resolution microscope etc. A series of conceptual experiments were performed on microscopic observation of ordinary objects and mice tumor tissue slices. It was demonstrated that, the new method could acquire microscopy images via a wireless way, which is spatially independent. With small size and low cost, the device thus developed has rather wide applicability in non-disturbing investigation of cell/tissue culture and long distance observation of dangerous biological sample etc.

OBJECTIVETo form a wound information management scheme with objectivity, standardization, and convenience by means of wound information management system.
METHODSA wound information management system was set up with the acquisition terminal, the defined wound description, the data bank, and related softwares. The efficacy of this system was evaluated in clinical practice.
RESULTSThe acquisition terminal was composed of the third generation mobile phone and the software. It was feasible to get access to the wound information, including description, image, and therapeutic plan from the data bank by mobile phone. During 4 months, a collection of a total of 232 wound treatment information was entered, and accordingly standardized data of 38 patients were formed automatically.
CONCLUSIONSThis system can provide standardized wound information management by standardized techniques of acquisition, transmission, and storage of wound information. It can be used widely in hospitals, especially primary medical institutions. Data resource of the system makes it possible for epidemiological study with large sample size in future.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2015;39(3):181-196
To realize the real-time transmission of temperature data and display using the platform of intelligent mobile phone and bluetooth. Application of Arduino Uno R3 in temperature data acquisition of digital temperature sensor DS18B20 acquisition, through the HC-05 bluetooth transmits the data to the intelligent smart phone Android system, realizes transmission of temperature data. Using Java language to write applications program under Android development environment, can achieve real-time temperature data display, storage and drawing temperature fluctuations drawn graphics. Temperature sensor is experimentally tested to meet the body temperature measurement precision and accuracy. This paper can provide a reference for other smart phone mobile medical product development.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2015;39(3):173-176
The technical structure of a low-cost thermal imaging system (TIM) lunched on a mobile phone was investigated, which consists of a thermal infrared module and mobile phone and application software. The designing strategies and technical factors toward realizing various TIM array performances are interpreted, including sensor cost and Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD). In the software algorithm, a mechanism for scene-change detection was implemented to optimize the efficiency of non-uniformity correction (NUC). The performance experiments and analysis indicate that the NETD of the system can be smaller than 150 mK when the integration time is larger than 16 frames. Furthermore, a practical application for human temperature monitoring during physical exercise is proposed and interpreted. The measurement results support the feasibility and facility of the system in the medical application.
