1.Research progress in the correlation between microRNAs and glioma
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2014;(7):746-750
MicroRNAs ( miRNAs) are a kinds of small non-coding RNA that regulate the expression of gene at the posttran-scriptional level and play important roles in a variety of physiological and pathological processes such as proliferation , differentiation and apoptosis.Recently, it has been reported that miRNAs expression abnormalities are closely associated with the initiation and devel -opment of glioma .Moreover , the expression levels of some miRNA are specifically involved in the molecular pathogenesis of glioma , revealing their great potential as a class of novel biomarkers for cancers and therapeutic targets .In this review , we summarizes the lat-est researches on miRNA and glioma .

Objective To observe the effect of intravenous immune globulin (IVIG) therapy on newborn infants of Rh hemolytic disease. Methods IVIG group (n=14) received conventional treatments including albumin administration and phototherapy with additional IVIG therapy at a daily dose of 400 mg/kg given for 1~5 consecutive days, and control group (n=16) only received conventional treatments. Effects were compared between the two groups. Result There were 25 patients with hyperbilirubinemia caused by Rh hemolytic disease received exchange transfusions. IVIG was infused in 12 cases,100% of them had the total serum bilirubin level dropped down during the treatment before the exchange transfusions, vs 5 (38%) of 13 cases in control group (P

Objective To observe the therapeutic effects of intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) between the higher dose (1 g/kg) and the lower dose (400 mg/(kg?d)1~3 d) for severe ABO hemolytic disease of newborn. Methods 48 term infants with severe hyperbilirubinemia receiving IVIG were divided into 2 groups. 24 cases in group A with higher dose, while 24 cases in group B with lower dose, another 20 cases without IVIG in the control group C. Phototherapy were used concomitantly for all infants in these 3 groups. The days of life on admission, the days of jaundice appearance, and the peak of serum bilirubin concentration (TB) in each group were macthed. The theraputic effects in TB reduced between each group were compared. Results The infants admitted on the 1st day of life in group A,B,and C were 11, 11, and 8 cases respectively, the range of TB(MTB) in the 3 groups were 230~237?mol/L (13.5~13.9 mg/dl). After treatment, the MTB declined to 203?mol/L (12 mg/dl) in group A within 24hrs, vs 285~316 ?mol/L (17~18 mg/dl) in group B and C,P

Aim To investigate the effects of bone morphogenic protein(BMP)-7 on the expression of extracelluar matrix components(ColⅠand FN)in human renal proximal tubular cells(HK-2)induced by transforming growth factor-?1(TGF-?1),and to explore the inhibition of BMP-7 on renal interstitial fibrosis. Methods HK-2 cells were treated with TGF-?1,BMP-7,or a combination of both for 48 h.The expression of FN was assessed by indirect immunofluorescence.RT-PCR and Western blot were used to determine the mRNA and protein expression of FN and ColⅠ?1.Results Indirect immunofluorescence staining showed that FN staining in 3 ?g?L-1 TGF-?1 group was considerably stronger than that in control group.By an addition of 200 ?g?L-1 BMP-7,the expression of FN was significantly inhibited.RT-PCR and Western blot showed the mRNA and protein expression of FN and ColⅠ?1 were up-regulated by TGF-?1 after 48 hours significantly(P

Objective To detect the influence of rapamycin on the expression of 4 kinds of miRNAs and the effect cell autophagy. To study the relationship of miR-144 and Beclin-1 gene. Methods SKOV-3 cells were treated with 50 ng/mL rapamycin 2 hours and 10 nmol/L 3-methyl adenine 12 hours, the expression of miR-17,miR-20a,miR-144 and miR-155 was detected by RT-qPCR in SKOV-3 cell of different groups, the protein expression of Beclin-1 was detected by Western blot. The targeting effect of miR-144 on Beclin-1 gene was verified by the dual-luciferase reporter assay,Western blot and RT-qPCR.Results The expression of miR-17,miR-144 and miR-155 were in creased compared with NC groups in rapamycin group (P<0.05);miR-17,miR-20a and miR-144 were down regulated compared with NC group in 3-MA group(P<0.05);the protein of Beclin-1 was down expression compared with NC group in rapamycin group.miR-144 could suppress Beclin-1 expression by targeting the specific 3'untranslated region sequence of Beclin-1 gene. Conclusions miR-144 can inhibit the autophagy-related gene Beclin-1 expression and regulate the autophagy process in SKOV-3 cells.

Objective To investigate the micro vibration with the hand nursing methods for disuse syndrome patients constipation curative effect. Methods During the time of March 2016 to September, 76 patients who had long term disuse syndrome with the constipation in two Elderly Care Homes in Urumqi were randomly divided into intervention group (n=37) and control group (n=39), in the experimental group, was treated by manual micro vibration nursing method which included hand micro vibration therapy, exercise therapy, health education guidance once a day, 50 minutes each time, a total of 4 weeks of intervention, while the control group received routine rehabilitation nursing. Before the intervention, intervention after 4 weeks, follow-up period after the end of 8 weeks according to the symptoms of constipation and evaluate the stool frequency. Results Preliminary experimental group and control group patients have different degrees of constipation symptoms, with the hand micro vibration method of nursing intervention, the experimental group had not constipation of symptoms, 17(43.6%) had constipation symptoms in the control group. Compared with the incidence of two groups of constipation patients. Before the intervention, intervention after 4 weeks, follow-up period after the end of 8 weeks, the experimental group patients defecation frequency was (5.33 ± 1.47), (29.70 ± 6.49) , (43.41 ± 6.15)times, The control group patients was(5.77 ± 1.39), (13.10 ± 1.27), (21.15 ± 4.23) time, comparison of the two groups, t=-1.357, 15.275, 18.458, P=0.179, 0.000, 0.000. Conclusions Hand micro vibration nursing method has remarkable effect on relieving constipation, and the treatment effect can be maintained for a long time, no recurrence occurred and adverse reactions, however, this method also economic, convenient, less time consuming and efficient.

Objecitve To investigate the changes of chronotropic response before and after percutaneous coronary intervention ( PCI)in patients with coronary disease .Methods A total of 339 patients with coronary disease was included in this study .All sub-jects underwent treadmill exercise test and coronary angiogram , and some patients underwent PCI if necessary .The parameters of chro-notropic response were recorded and analyzed , including ratio of the highest to predicted heart rates ( rHR) ,chronotropic response in-dex ( CRI) , and heart rate reserve ( HRR) .After coronary angiogram , the score of gensin was recorded and analyzed .Results There was significant difference in the parameter of CRI between unstable angina pectoris and silent myocardial ischemia groups ( P <0.05 ) , CRI were 0.80 ±0.11 and 0.89 ±0.07 , respectively .After coronary angiogram and PCI , there were significant differences in the parameters of rHR, CRI, and HRR between pre-therapy and post-treatment ( t =2.440, 1.977, 2.529, all P <0.05).A nega-tive correlation was found between the parameters of rHR , CRI, and HRR and the score of Gensin ( r =-0.686 , -0.673 , and-0.672, all P <0.05).The significant difference in rHR, CRI, and HRR existed between the groups of <20 and >40 ( t =2.567, 2.223, 2.062, all P <0.05).Conclusions Parameters (rHR, CRI, and HRR) had important clinical values in evaluating the changes of chronotropic response before and after PCI in patients with coronary disease with a negative correlation with the score of Gensin.
