1.Clinical Observation on Acupuncture Treatment for Painless Labor

Objective: To observe the clinical effects of acupuncture for relieving pain in delivery. Methods: 240 cases of parturients were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, 120 cases in each group. The treatment was given by puncturing Kunlun (BL 60) immediately in the incubation period of labor course in the treatment group. The control group was treated by giving intermittent oxygen inhalation. Results: Pain was relieved obviously in the treatment group, with statistical significance compared with the control group (P<0.01). Conclusion: Acupuncture at Kunlun (BL 60) can relieve delivery pain of parturients during the delivery process and is a feasible painless method for delivery.
3.A Comparative Study on Laparoscopic-Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy and Vaginal Hysterectomy

Objective To explore the clinical value of laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomy(LAVH)in large uterus.Methods Retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical data of 94 patients(whose uterus were as big as 10-18 gestational weeks)who received hysterectomy from January 2005 to March 2007,in which 56 cases were performed laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomy(LAVH group)and 38 cases vaginal hysterectomy(VH group).The operation time,blood loss,postoperative hospital stay,and the incidence of postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.Results Compared with VH group,there were a lower chance of abdominal hysterectomy(0/56 vs 5/38,?2=5.389,P=0.020),a shorter operation time [(149?11)min vs(179?14)min,t=-11.610,P=0.000] and a shorter postoperative hospital stay [(5.8?1.4)d vs(7.3?3.6)d,t=-2.825,P=0.006] in the LAVH group.There were no significant differences in blood loss,morbidity and time to first flatus between the two groups.Conclusions The LAVH extends the indications of VH,ensuring the safety of VH for the uterus bigger than 10 gestational weeks,therefore it is an operative procedure to be recommended.
4.Expressions of aromatase P450 and estrogen receptor in eutopic and ectopic endometrium in endometriosis and their correlation with endometriosis

Objective To detect the expression of aromatase P450 and estrogen receptor (ER) in eutopic and ectopic endometrium in endometriosis and their correlation with endometriosis. Methods Forty patients who had undergone operation because of endometriosis (all were stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ according to the revised American Fertility Society classification) were enrolled and 83 tissue specimens from different locations of disease foci were obtained and divided into five groups according to the location: group Ⅰ, eutopic endometrium of 25 cases; Group Ⅱ, ovarian endometriosis tissues of 23 cases; Group Ⅲ, vagina-rectum endometriosis tissues of 11 cases; Group Ⅳ, peritoneum endometriosis tissues of eight cases; and group V, uterine serosa endometriosis tissues of 16 cases. Control group consisted of normal endometrium taken from 20 fertile women who had endometrial curettage before placement of intrauterine device. The routine two-step immunohistochemical technique was used to measure the expression of aromatase P450 and ER in endometrial cells. 5.Effect of NF-κB binding element deletion on transcriptional regulation of NOX1

AIM:To investigate the effect of NF-κB binding element deletion on transcriptional regulation of (NOX1).METHODS:pGL3-Basic vector inserted with the NOX1 proximal promoter, and the same vector inserted with the NOX1 proximal promoter in the absence of the positive NF-κB binding element, were constructed.After cloning, diges-tion and purification, NOX1 proximal promoter (≈1 415 bp) was inserted into the multicloning site of the pGL3-Basic vec-tor and then sequenced ( pGL3-NOX1-1415) .NF-κB binding elements in the NOX1 promoters were predicted by Alibaba 2.1 software.The positive element was deleted by overlapping PCR.The deletion mutant was inserted into the pGL3 vector in the same way (pGL3-NOX1-1327).The plasmids were transfected into A549 cells, and then the cells were stimulated with TNF-α.The luciferase activity was monitored on MD SpectraMax M5 enzyme-labeled instrument.RESULTS:The se-quences of pGL3-NOX1-1415 and pGL3-NOX1-1327 were identified to be correct.Compared with control group, the lucif-erase activity was significantly higher in the cells transfected with pGL3-NOX1-1327 (P<0.05), but it was significantly lower than that in the cells transfected with pGL3-NOX1-1415 (P<0.05).CONCLUSION: NF-κB plays an essential role in the transcriptional regulation of NOX1 in TNF-α-induced A549 cells.Activated NF-κB binds to specific elements in NOX1 promoter regions to control the transcription.
6.Clinical study on levofloxacin combined with anti tuberculosis chemotherapy in the treatment of retreated smear positive pulmonary tuberculosis

Objective Investigate the clinical efficacy of treating retreated smear-positive tuberculosis patients with conventional anti-tuberculosis chemotherapy combined with levofloxacin. Methods Divide 60 retreated smear-positive tuberculosis patients registered in our hospital between October 2012 and October 2014 into two groups using random number table method: levofloxacin group and conventional treatment group. Each group contains 30 patients that were treated for 9 months , and the efficacy the both treatment methods were compared. Results The sputum conversion rate in the levofloxacin group is 93.33% and 96.67% after treating for 6 months and 9 months , respectively; which are substantial higher than that of the conventional treatment group with sputum conversion rate of 70% and 73.33% after 6 months and 9 months of treatment , respectively (P < 0.05). The absorption rate of the levofloxacin group is significantly higher than that of the conventional treatment group (P < 0.05). The cavity improvement rate of the levofloxacin group is 73.33%, which is significantly higher than that of the conventional treatment group (33.33%) (P < 0.05). The clinical efficacy of the LVFX group is substantially higher than the routine treatment group (P < 0.05). The overall effectiveness of LVFX group reached 100% , which is significantly higher than that of the conventional treatment group (86.67%) (P < 0.05). Conclusions Levofloxacin combined with conventional anti-tuberculosis chemotherapy can effectively improve the clinical efficacy in the treatment of tuberculosis.
7.Genotyping and drug resistance analysis of multiple drug resistant Escherichia coli

Objective To investigate the genotype ,distribution and drug resistance of 24 multi-drug resistant Escherichia coli i-solates from the patients in the hospital 24 cases of multi-drug resistant genotyping and resistance ,the distribution of its depart-ments in the hospital ,to provide basis for rational use of antibiotics in clinical patients .Methods By MIC method to analyze antimi-crobial susceptibility of Escherichia coli ,Enterobacter Genetics adopt consistent between repetitive sequences (ERIC)-polymerase chain reaction (PCR) screening carried out the multi-drug resistant Escherichia coli genotyping .Results Statistics showed that the hospital were isolated 24 strains were divided into two types A and B2 type genotype .Distribution is 10 in respiratory ,6 in urology , 5 in ICU (B2 type 3) ,3 in hematology and oncology (B2 type 1) .Drug susceptibility results of 4 type B2 ,for cefoxitin ,ceftazidime , amikacin ,ticarcillin + clavulanic acid are all manifestations of resistance .24 strains of Escherichia coli ,amoxicillin ,cephalothin , gentamicin ,ticarcillin ,piperacillin resistance rate reached more than 70% .Conclusion B2-type strain showed multidrug resistance , pathogenicity strong ,and mainly in the ICU and hematology and oncology ,the use of antibiotics should be based on reasonable ad-justments in patients infected with different genotypes of Escherichia coli .
8.Clinical analysis of islet autoantibodies,hypersensitivity-CRP and renal function in elderly type 2 diabetic patients

Objective To investigate the clinical value in changes of serum glutamic acid decarboxylase antibody (GAD-Ab) ,islet cell antibodies(ICA) ,insulin autoantibodies (IAA) and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and renal function in elderly type 2 diabetic patients .Methods 122 cases of endocrine inpatient in our hospital had been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes were chosen from January 2012 to December 2012 .They were divided into islet autoimmunity antibody positive group (n=21) and islet autoimmunity antibody negative group (n=101) according to the antibody test results ,Fasting C-peptide(FCP) ,2-hour postprandial C-peptide(2 h CP) ,glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c) ,high-sensitivity-CRP(hs-CRP) and renal function[urea (UREA) ,creatinine (Cr) ,microalbuminuria(urinary mALB) ,urinary β2-microglobulin (urinary β2-MG)]were detected .Test results were statistically analyzed and compared .Results At least one Islet autoimmune antibodies were found in 21 cases of 122 elderly patients with type 2 diabetes .The positive rate was 17 .21% .GAD-Ab was detected positive in 14 cases(11 .47% ) ,ICA was detected positive in 10 ca-ses(8 .19% ) ,IAA was detected positive in 1 case(0 .82% ) ,Two antibodies were detected positive together in 4 patients(3 .27% ) , Three antibodies were not detected positive together .The levels of hs-CRP ,UREA and Cr in Islet autoantibodies positive group were higher then in islet autoimmunity antibody negative group ,the difference was statistically significant (P<0 .05) .The levels of FCP ,2 h CP ,HbA1c ,urinary mALB and urinary β2-MG in both group ,the difference was not statistically significant (P>0 .05) . Conclusion Chronic inflammation and the appearance of islet autoantibodies are closely related to the damage of islet cell function . It has a higher value in monitoring complications and efficacy through understanding islet autoantibodies ,inflammation and changes in renal function in elderly type 2 diabetes .
9.Diagnostic value of serum AFP-L3, GP73 and GGT combined detection in hepatocellular carcinoma

Objective To explore the clinical value of AFP-L3,GP73 and GGT as biomarkers in diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).Methods According to the pathological diagnosis,141 patients were divided into two groups,HCC group were 74 cases,benign liver disease group were 67 cases.Use ELISA method tested the serum AFP-L3 and GP73 levels.The GGT level was detected by the automatic biochemical instrument of all the 141 patients.AFP-L3,GP73 and GGT concentration difference was compared between the two groups.ROC curve was used to determine the cut-off level to diagnose HCC.The value of single use AFP-L3,GP73,GGT and joint the three indexes to diagnose HCC were analyzed.Results The average level of AFP-L3 in the patients with HCC was (113.58±63.62) μg/L,it was significantly higher than that in the patients with benign liver diseases [(23.19±34.54) μg/L] (P < 0.001).The area under the ROC curve of AFP-L3 level was 0.802.Taking AFP-L3 level ≥ 38.47 μg/L as diagnostic criteria,the sensitivity of AFP-L3 level in HCC diagnosis was 81.08 % and the specificity was 88.06 %.The average level of GP73 in the patients with HCC was (126.55±49.56) μg/L,it was significantly higher than that in the patients with benign liver diseases [(56.97±26.48) μg/L] (P < 0.001).The area under the ROC curve of GP73 level was 0.811.Taking GP73 level≥69.44 μg/L as diagnostic criteria,the sensitivity of GP73 level in HCC diagnosis was 75.68 % and the specificity was 91.04 %.The average level of GGT in the patients with HCC was (173.20±179.18) U/L,it was significantly higher than that in the patients with benign liver diseases [(90.77±81.53) U/L] (P < 0.001).The area under the ROC curve of GGT level was 0.713.Taking GGT level ≥ 110.77 U/L as diagnostic criteria,the sensitivity of GGT level in HCC diagnosis was 74.32 % and the specificity was 77.61%.Joint use AFP-L3,GP73 and GGT to diagnose HCC,the sensitivity was 83.78 %,specificity was 92.53 %.Conclusion Combined detection of tumor markers AFP-L3,GP73 and GGT can improve the positive rate of HCC,which has good clinical application value.

AIM To study the effects of quateranary ammonium salt derivative (F 2) of haloperidol on ischemia and reperfusion injury in rat hearts. METHODS Ischemia and reperfusion injury in rat hearts was induced by occluding the left anterior descending coronary artery for 30 min and restoring blood reperfusion for 30 min. F 2 (1, 2, 4 mg?kg -1 , respectively) was intravenously injected before heart ischemia. Plasma creatine kinase (CK), creatine kinase isoenzyme MB(CK MB), lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),? Hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase (HBDH), grutamic oxalacetic transaminase(GOT), superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and malondiadehyde (MDA) contents were measured. The pathologic changes of ischemia and reperfusion myocardium were observed on the transmission electron microscopy. RESULTS F 2 reduced the release of CK,CK MB LDH,HBDH,GOT from I/R rat hearts, increased the activity of SOD and decreased the MDA contents. In F 2 (1mg?kg -1 ) group, the serum CK MB LDH HBDH concentration was lowered significantly (vs I/R group P
