1.Effects of comprehensive pelvic floor rehabilitation program on pelvic floor function in patients with perimenopausal female sexual dysfunction

Objective To investigate the effects of comprehensive pelvic floor rehabilitation program on pelvic floor muscle strength, female sexual function index (FSFI) score and sexual satisfaction scale for women (SSS-W) score in patients with perimenopausal female sexual dysfunction. Methods The clinical data of 120 patients with perimenopausal female sexual dysfunction were retrospectively analyzed, and all the patients were treated with estrogen and progesterone replacement therapy. Among the patients, 80 patients were treated with Kegel training program (control group), and 80 patients were treated with Kegel training program combined with comprehensive pelvic floor rehabilitation program (treatment group). The pelvic floor muscle strength, FSFI score, SSS-W score, incidence of algopareunia and sexual life frequency were compared between 2 groups. Results The pelvic floor muscle strength after treatment in treatment group was significantly better than that in control group. The Ⅲ,ⅣandⅤgrade of pelvic floor muscle strength in treatment group was in 5, 42 and 33 cases, and that in control group was in 21, 47 and 12 cases, and there was statistical difference (P<0.05). The FSFI scores and SSS-W scores after treatment in treatment group were significantly higher than those in control group:(32.24 ± 3.70) scores vs. (28.51 ± 2.95) scores and (139.80 ± 16.17) scores vs. (122.33 ± 13.75) scores, and there were statistical differences (P<0.05). The incidence of algopareunia after treatment in treatment group was significantly lower than that in control group:10.00%(8/80) vs. 55.00%(44/80), and there was statistical difference (P<0.05). The sexual life frequency after treatment in treatment group was significantly better than that in control group, the 0, 1, 2 and≥3 times/month of sexual life frequency in treatment group was in 0, 8, 20 and 52 cases, and that in control group was in 5, 34, 24 and 17 cases, and there was statistical difference (P<0.05). Conclusions Comprehensive pelvic floor rehabilitation program in patients with perimenopausal female sexual dysfunction can efficiently promote the recovery process of pelvic floor muscle strength, improve FSFI score and SSS-W score, and increase the degree of sexual satisfaction.
2.Pathogenesis analysis and prevention and treatment of limb deep venous thrombosis complicated by postoperative gynaecological malignant tumours

Objective To analyze the pathogenesis and prevention and treatment of limb deep venous thrombosis complicated by postoperative gynaecological malignant tumours.Methods A retrospective analysis of 22 cases with limb deep venous thrombosis complicated by postoperative gynaecological malignant tumours in our hospital were analyzed.According to the situation of patients,surgery or conservative treatment was conducted.The clinical efficacy after treatment was observed.Results In 22 cases,6 cases underwent surgical treatment,16 cases underwent conservative treatment.After treatment,18 cases were cured,3 cases were effective,1 case ineffective.After treatment,the TT,Pt,APTT and FBG levels were (24.17 ±2.13)s,(18.25 ±2.13)s,(31.68 ± 10.30)s and (2.26 ±0.52) g/L,which were all better than before treatment,the differences were statistically significant (t =10.362,9.774,12.281,8.462,P =0.028,0.032,0.012,0.029).Followed up for 3 months,no recurrence of LDVT was observed.Conclusion The cases of gynecological malignant tumor have higher risk of limb deep vein thrombosis,we should taken prevention actively,once diagnosed should take effective intervention measures to improve the prognosis.

OBJECTIVE:To study the effect of quercetin on the proliferation and apoptosis of human gastric carcinoma cell line MGC-803.METHODS:MTT assay was adopted to measure the effect of quercetin at different concentrations on the proliferation of MGC-803 cells.Cell apoptosis index(AI)induced by quercetin was measured by TUNEL assay.RESULTS: Quercetin at a certain concentration from 40?mol/L to 100?mol/L could successfully inhibit the proliferation of MGC-803 cells in a dose-dependent manner.TUNEL assay indicated that apoptosis cells induced by quercetin in treatment group were much more than that in control group after 48 hours(P

Objective To evaluate the control status and knowledge level about disease in asthmatic patients in region level cities of Shaanxi province for effect appraisal of patient education.Methods Eight hospitals were selected from six region level cities, where questionnaire survey was completed in out-patients with asthma (≥ 14 years old).Results A total of 523 patients completed the questionnaire with a ratio of male to female of 1: 1.14,and an average age of (44.3±15.5) years old.The percentage of controlled, partly controlled and uncontrolled by self-evaluation was respectively 26.4%, 52.4% and 11.1%.48% insisted on using inhaled corticosteroids (ICS).The average score was 17.88±4.43 by asthma control test (ACT).The first three medicines used daily were ICS (26.6%), sustained-release theophyline (25.2%) and combination ICS/long-acting β2-agonists (21.8%).12.6% had no medicine and 5.2% used non-orthodox medicines.68.6% patients had omen before exacerbation, and those were sneezing, chest distress and cough.73.6% knew asthma is a disease of airway inilammatian,and 33.3% selected ICS as the leader medicine.Only 32.1% attended the lecture about asthma in hospitals and 85.0% longed for such education.Conclusions The control status and knowledge level about disease in asthmatic patients in cities still need to be improved in Shaanxi province, and too much work need to be done in order to realize the total control in all patients.

6.Methyl-metabolism contributes to the LuxS regulation of Streptococcus mutans

Objective To investigate the predominant contribution of methyl-metabolism pathway to the regulation of LuxS of Strecptococcus mutans.Methods The differences in biofilm formation and aciduricity of Strecptococcus mutans among the methyl-metabolism-complementation strain(KO-S),the parental wide-type strain(WT) and the luxS null strain(KO) were observed by real-time PCR for monitoring the transcriptional level of genes related to biofilm formation(smu.238,gtfD) and aciduricity(smu.44,smu.46) of the studied strains,methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT) for quantifying the biofilm of the exhibited strains and confocal laser scanning microscopy for estimating the structure of the biofilm.Results The transcriptional level of smu.44,smu.46,smu.238,gtfD in WT were 1.289±0.051,1.694±0.140,1.565±0.107,1.667±0.196 respectively; in KO were 1.001 ±0.045,1.007±0.151,1.000±0.021,1.012±0.196 respectively,downregulated compared with WT(P<0.05); in KO-S were 4.662 ± 0.091,5.019 ± 0.258,3.462 ± 0.029,3.071 ±0.136 respectively,upregulated compared both with KO and with WT(P<0.05).The quantity of biofilms formed by the studied strains were WT(1.592± 0.213),KO(0.939± 0.029),KO-S(2.177 ± 0.226),KO-P(1.020±0.093),respectively,representing a less quantity by KO and KO-P than WT(P<0.05) and a more quantity by KO-S than other three stains(P<0.05).According to the observation of biofilms texture by confocal laser scanning microscopy,the WT biofilm was condensed and even.In contrast,fissures and gaps were found scattered in biofilms of KO,KO-P while lessened in that of KO-S,in which high-density bacterial aggregates were observed.The acid assay indicated a smaller biofilm decrease by WT and KO-S than that by KO and KO-P(P<0.05).Conclusions The methyl-metabolism pathway contributes to LuxS regulation on biofilm formation and auiduricity of Strecptococcus mutans.
