3.The effect of the nutritional supplementation in eliminating sport fatigue
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 1997;0(02):-
Sport fatigue affects exercise ability of human being.A number of experiments of animals and humans have proved that the rational usage of nutritional supplementation will eliminate the fatgue caused by over-exerise,and improve exerise ability. This review is about the effect of the nutritional supplementation in eliminating sport fatigue.
4.Progress on the association between respiratory viral infections during early-life and asthma attack in later childhood
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(6):585-587
Respiratory viral infections are the most common cause of infantile wheezing, as well as one of the major inducents of acute exacebarbations of chronic childhood asthma. Recent studies focus on the mechanism of virus-induced airway inflammatory response which is still not completely clear. Many new pathophysiologic mechanisms such as epigenetics are advanced to explain the association between viral respiratory infections and asthma attack. In the present reports, recent data on the role of early-life viral infections in the development and progression of childhood asthma are reviewed.
5.Complications of chronic kidney disease:current management and challenge
Chinese Journal of Practical Internal Medicine 2001;0(02):-
Chronic kidney disease(CKD)is increasingly recognized as a global public health problem.Uncontrolled complications of CKD,especially cardiovascular diseases, contribute greatly to the premature death and unfavorable prognosis.Recent evidence shows that CKD complications may occur earlier than previously thought.CKD complications deserve early detection and active treatment.Periodical follow-up and regular check should be done to adjust the therapeutic condition.Clinical practice guideline or recommendation based on evidence-based medicine is essential for management of CKD complications.Personalized treatment should be considered to improve survival and quality of life, and to make patient return to society.
6.EEG alterations and conscious state of epileptic rats during absence seizure induced by pentylenetetrazol
Journal of Third Military Medical University 1983;0(04):-
Objective To evaluate whether the pentylenetetrazol(PTZ)model is an appropriate animal model of absence seizure. Methods A series of tests including EEG,active avoidance response(AAR)and passive escape response(PER)in a two-way shuttle box were finished during seizure induced by PTZ(35 mg/kg,ip)in 40 Wistar epileptic rats. Results Epileptiform activity was characterized by bilaterally spike wave discharges synchronously elicited during seizure in PTZ models.During absence seizure induced by PTZ,the latency of active avoidance response was significantly prolonged.AAR positive rate was decreased by 85%.PER positive rate was increased by 56%,and escape failure positive rate was increased by 29%.Conclusion There is epileptiform discharge accompanying transient conscious disturbance during absence seizure induced by pentylenetetrazol.
7.Hyperhomocysteinemia and cardiovascular diseases
Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition 1997;0(03):-
Many data show that hyperhomocysteinemia is correlated with the increased rate of cardiovascular diseases.Yet,there is controversy about the relationship between mild hyperhomocysteinemia and cardiovascular diseases.Lots of study suggest that the concentration of plasma homocysteine was reduced by using folic acid in patients with cardiovascular diseases. But,the effect of folic aicd can not be identified from other factors reducing the concentration of plasma homocysteine.
8.Cloning and Bioinformatics Analysis of Human Lung Fibrosis-inducing Factors
Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2006;0(07):-
Chitinases are ubiquitous chitin-fragmenting hydrolases, however until a few years ago that chitinase like proteins have been found in mammalian. A silica-induced bronchoalveolar lavage protein (iSBLP58) with fibroblast growth promoting activity in silicotic rat, which had high sequence homology with members of the mammalian chitinase protein family has been previously purified and characterized. Bioinformatics analysis showed that several human EST clones from pooled colon, kidney or stomach matched the rat protein sequence. Thereafter clone from human kidney RNA samples with several pairs of primers was managed and a set of sequences was obtained, whose cDNA and amino acid sequences have high similarity with each other and several human chitinases in GenBank. Comparison with human genome sequence suggests that these molecules may be from variant transcripts of same a Pre-mRNA. Here the characterization of these sequences is reported.
9.Laparoscopic cholecystectomy for acute cholecystitis: A clinical analysis of 79 cases
Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(01):-
Objective To summarize the clinical experience of laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) for acute cholecystitis. Methods Clinical records of 79 cases of acute cholecystitis treated by LC from September 2002 to August 2003 were respectively reviewed. Results Intraoperative cholangiography (IOC) was successfully conducted in 75 cases, 6 of which were found common bile duct stones. Of the 6 cases, 4 underwent LC combined with intraoperative endoscopic sphincterotomy and 2 underwent a conversion to open choledochotomy with T-tube drainage. The rest of 73 cases were diagnosed as simple gallbladder stones: LC was successfully accomplished in 70 cases and a conversion to open surgery was required in 3 cases because of serious inflammatory adhesion. In the study no severe complications occurred. Conclusions LC can be performed safely in the majority of cases of acute cholecystitis.
10.A retrospective study of posterior lumbar disc herniation
Chongqing Medicine 2017;46(15):2083-2084
Objective To study the effect of different therapies for posterior lumbar disc herniation. Methods A total of 8 000 patients with lumbar disc posterior surgery were enrolled in this research at our hospital. The technical points of the patients in different times were analysed. The results of the operation were observed. Results From January 1980 to December 1990,patients underwent laminectomy. From January 1991 to December 2000,patients were treated with laminectomy and semi-lamina.From January 2001 to December 2016,the open window accounted for 86.0%,expanding the window or semi-lamina accounted for 11.0%,and the whole laminar plate only accounted for 3.0%.After 2000,the accuracy of the diagnosis was 98.0%,the excellent rate of operation was 99.8%,the average operation time was(80±15)min,and the blood loss was(100±20)mL.Among them, the rate of I/A healing was 99.8%,dural tear rate was 4.0%,nerve root injury rate was 0.5%,and cerebrospinal fluid leakage rate was 0.9%.The incidence of complications in the cases after 2000 was significantly lower. Conclusion By summarizing the operation technique of posterior lumbar disc herniation, the operation error can be avoided and the incidence of complications of surgical injury can be reduced.
