OBJECTIVE:To investigate effect of valsanan on heart function in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).METHODS:A total of 113 CHF patients were assigned into 2 groups.Both group received routine therapy and observation group were additionally treated with valsanan.Clinical efficacies of 2 groups before and after treatment were observed in terms of cardiac function classification,LVIDD,SV,CO,LVEF and 6 min walking test.RESULTS:In observation group,the incidence of improvement of the cardiac function was higher than in control group(P

Autophagy can be activated after cerebral ischemia and involved in the occurrence and development of ischemic brain injury. Therefore, the study of autophagy related signal transduction pathways may provide a new therapeutic target for ischemic brain injury. This article reviews the signal transduction pathways of autophagy after cerebral ischemia.

Objective To explore the effect of dexmedetomidine preconditioning on antioxidant ability in Rats Brain with focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion.Methods Forty-two healthy male SD rats,weighted 250-280 g,were randomly divided into three groups (n = 14):sham-operation group (group Sham):in which carotid artery was exposed but MCAO was not performed;ischemia/reper-fusion group(group IR):NS were injected intraperitoneally at 30 minutes before the MCAO;dexme-detomidine group (group Dex):dexmedetomidine 100 μg/kg were injected intraperitioneally injected at 30 minutes before the MCAO.Focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion (IR)model in rats was made by transient occlusion of the middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO)using a nylon thread with rounded tip inserted into internal carotid artery and advanced cranially until resistance was met.MCAO was maintained for 2 hours followed by 24 hours reperfusion.Neurologic deficit scores(NDS),the infarc-tion volume as well as the activities of endogenous antioxidants (such as superoxide dismutase(SOD), glutathione peroxidase(GSH-PX),glutathione reductase (GR),catalase (CAT))in ischemic brain were evaluated 24 h after reperfusion.Results Compared to group Sham,the neurologic deficit scores and the infarction volume in group Dex and IR were significantly higher,but the concentration of SOD,GSH-PX,GR,CAT were significantly lower(P <0.05).Compared to group IR,however,the neurologic deficit scores and the infarction volume in group Dex were significantly lower,but the concentra-tion of SOD,GSH-PX,GR,CAT were significantly higher (P <0.05).Conclusion Dexmedetomidine can protect the brain from focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury,and its mechanism maybe relate to preserving the activities of endogenous antioxidants.

It needs to consolidate the treatment of body's disease to strengthen second-level prevention of heart disease, and pay attention to the intervention for psychological disorder as well.This paper aims to provide reference for reducing the negative effects of psychological illness in patients with cardiovascular disease during clinical treatment process, and make prospects about the significance of double heart medical model, through summarizing the interaction effects of psychological factors on patients with coronary heart disease, the significance ofdouble heartnursing mode and the specific nursing measures.

In recent years, there is still an unbridgeable area in the early diagnosis of thyroid carcinoma.Many scholars are committed to the research of molecular markers, and find that RNA markers associated with thyroid carcinoma are microRNAs, human telomerase reverse transcripase, trefail factor 3 and HMGA2 genes.Different genes are closely related to the occurrence, development of different types of thyroid cancers, and some genes may even affect the transfer of thyroid carcinoma.

Objective To explore the influence of vacuum sealing drainage(VSD) technology in snake bite treatment.Methods 108 patients of snake bites need to incision decompression were randomly divided into two groups,VSD group (VSD) 58 cases,conventional group (wound change dressings ordinarily) 50 cases.The secondary suture of time,the number of change dressings,material consumption fees,antibiotics use cost,wound infection rate,in hospital,average length of hospital stay were compared between two groups.Results Compared the VSD group with the conventional group,the secondary suture of time (t =11.743,P ＜ 0.05),the number of change dressings (t =50.661,P ＜ 0.05),material consumption fees (t =9.054,P ＜ 0.05),antibiotics use cost (t =21.515,P ＜ 0.05),wound infection rate (x2 =9.155,P ＜ 0.05),in hospital,average length of hospital stay (t =10.350,P ＜ 0.05) had significant differences.Conclusion VSD technique can be a ideal way to treat snake bites patients and worth popularizing at this stage.

Object To investigate the pathological changes,physiological condition,neurobehavior and motor development of the 3-day-old rats with ischemic brain injury.Methods Ninety six 3-day-old male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly assigned to experimental and control groups.Occlusion of both carotid arteries was performed in the experimental group,while the rats in the control group only received skin incisions without carotid ligation.Physical examinations and neurobehavioral development of the rats were recorded daily from the first day after operation until 3 weeks after birth,including weight,eye opening, incisor eruption,ear unfolding,righting reflex,negative geotaxis,limb placing and grasping reflex. Specimens of the brain tissue were obtained in 24 hours after operation and 3 weeks after birth for the hematoxylin-eosin staining and immunohistochemistry staining to investigate the pathological changes.All the reaults were compared between the 2 groups.Results Compared with the control group,rats in the experimental group were found growth retardation,suppression of primitive reflexes and impaired motor abilities (P < 0.05 ).The brain tissue obtained from the rats after operation showed white matter rarefaction,liquefaction and microglia hyperplasia with Hematoxylin-eosin staining and myelin formation disorder with immunohistochemistry staining.Conclusions Ischemic brain injury of the 3-day-old rats could result the mental retardation,neurobehavioral and motor development disorder because of the white matter injury.

OBJECTIVE:To probe into the status quo and requirements of drug utilization in Haiqin Sanatorium Area of Nanjing Military Region Hangzhou Sanatorium.METHODS:The drug utilization in 710 convalescents in Sanatorium Area from May 2007 to April 2008 was analyzed statistically.RESULTS:A total of 10 categories of drugs were used in the 710 convalescents,chiefly including anti-cold drugs,antihypertensive drugs,drugs for external use,antimicrobial agents,ophthalmic drugs,otorhinolaryngological drugs,vitamins and gastrointestinal drugs.The rate of drug use conforming diagnosis was 87.32%.Oral administration occupied 71.13%.CONCLUSION:The drug utilization in convalescents in Haiqin Sanatorium Area is basically rational.However,there are also some unreasonable points in the drug utilization which remain to be tackled further.
