Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect of steam inhalation of ?2-adrenergic agents combined with anticholinergic agents for patients with chronic obstructive lung disease(COPD) acute attack.Methods 64 patients with COPD acute attack were divided into two groups at random.The control group were under regular treatment,the therapy group were treated with steam inhalation of ?2-adrenergic agents combined with anticholinergic agents besides regular treatment.Results Symptoms and pulmonary function showed distinctly better in therapy group than in control group.Conclusion Steam inhalation of ?2-adrenergic agents combined with anticholinergic agents is an efficacious way to treat the patients with COPD acute attack.

Objective To evaluate the role of haeme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) in remote limb ischemic preconditioning (RLIP)-induced attenuation of lung ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury in rabbits.Methods Twenty-four Japanese White Rabbits,aged 4-5 months,weighing 2.0-2.5 kg,were randomly divided into 4 groups (n =6 each) using a random number table:sham operation group (S group),I/R group,RLIP group and zinc protoporphyrin (ZnPP,an inhibitor of HO-1) plus RLIP group (ZnPP + RLIP group).Lung I/R was produced by 60 min occlusion of the left lung hilum followed by 180 min of reperfusion in I/R,RLIP and ZnPP + RLIP groups.RLIP and ZnPP + RLIP groups received 3 cycles of 10 min ischemia followed by 10 min reperfusion in the bilateral hind limbs immediately before occlusion of the left lung hilum.In ZnPP + RLIP group,ZnPP 10 μmol/kg was injected intravenously 10 min prior to hind limb ischemia and the rest of the procedures were similar to those previously described in RLIP group.At the end of reperfusion,arterial blood samples were collected for blood gas analysis.The animals were then sacrificed and pulmonary specimens were obtained for microscopic examination of the pathological changes which were scored (lung injury score,LIS) and for determination of wet/dry lung weight ratio (W/D ratio),myleoperoxidase (MPO) activity,malondialdehyde (MDA) content and expression and activity of HO-1 in the lung tissues.Results Compared with group S,PaO2 was significantly decreased,and LIS,W/D ratio,MPO activity,MDA content,and HO-1 expression and activity were increased in I/R group (P ＜ 0.01).Compared with I/R group,PaO2 and HO-1 expression and activity were significantly increased,and LIS,W/D ratio,MPO activity and MDA content were decreased in RLIP group (P ＜ 0.01).Compared with RLIP group,PaO2 and HO-1 expression and activity were significantly decreased,and LIS,W/D ratio,MPO activity and MDA content were increased in ZnPP + RLIP group (P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion RLIP up-regulates HO-1 expression and enhances HO-1 activity,thus reducing lung I/R injury in rabbits.

OBJECTIVE:To study anti-inflammatory,analgesic and anti-fatigue effects of polysaccharides from Acanthopanan trifoliatus (ATMP) in rats and mice. METHODS:In hot plate experiment,150 mice were randomly divided into normal control group (constant volume of normal saline),aspirin group [200 mg/(kg·d)],and ATMP high-dose,medium-dose and low-dose groups [400,200,100 mg(gross polysaccharide)/(kg·d)];the threshold of pain was determined,and analgesic effect of ATMP was investigated. 150 mice were included in exhaustive swimming test and then randomly divided into normal control group(con-stant volume of normal saline),Chongcao yangshen jijing group [400 mg/(kg·d)by total saponins],and ATMP high-dose,medi-um-dose and low-dose groups [200,100,50 mg(gross polysaccharide)/(kg·d)];the body weight and exhaustive swimming time of mice were determined,and biochemical process was used to determine the contents of hepatic glycogen and muscle glycogen, and serum levels of BUN,LDH and CK in mice. The anti-fatigue effect of ATMP was investigated. In carrageenan-induced paw swelling experiment,40 rats were divided into normal control group (constant volume of normal saline),dexamethasone acetate group [5 mg/(kg·d)],ATMP high-dose,medium-dose and low-dose groups [100,50,25 mg(gross polysaccharide)/(kg·d)];the degree of paw swelling was recorded,and anti-inflammatory of ATMP was investigated. RESULTS:Compared with normal control group,the threshold of pain in mice were increased in ATMP 400,200,100 mg(gross polysaccharide)/(kg·d)groups;the exhaus-tive swimming time of mice were prolonged significantly,and the contents of hepatic glycogen in mice were increased significant-ly,while serum contents of CK decreased in ATMP 200,100 mg(gross polysaccharide)/(kg·d)groups;the content of muscle gly-cogen in mice was increased significantly in ATMP 200 mg (gross polysaccharide)/(kg·d) group,while serum contents of BUN and LDH were decreased;the degree of paw swelling in rats was decreased in ATMP 100,50,25 mg(gross polysaccharide)/(kg·d) groups,with statistical significance (P<0.01 or P<0.05). There was no significant difference in body weight of mice before and after medication. CONCLUSIONS:ATMP has significant analgesic and anti-fatigue effects on mice and anti-inflammatory effect on rats.

Objective: To establish the method for determination of taurocholic acid in the Traditional Chinese Medicine Shedanchuanbei Oral Liquid and snake bile. Methods: The sample was prepared as mixed solution containing methanol and KH 2PO 4. The mixed solution was injected into Sep Pak C 18 cartridge for the purpose of sample purity. In this processing, the substances which having strong retain action and could harm analytic column were hold in the Sep Pak C 18 cartridge. The eluting solution that the Sep Pak C 18 cartridge had be over loading for taurocholic acid was used as the test solution. The test solution was measured by RP HPLC. The chromatographic conditions were as followed: Supelcosil LC 8 column(150mm?4.6nm,5?m) as analytic column, detect wavelength at 203nm, and MeOH 0.4%KH 2PO 4 mixed solution(56∶44, V/V ) as mobile phase. The inject volume was 50?L. Results: The linear response range of sodium taurocholate was from 0.0253mg?mL -1 to 0.253mg?mL -1 , and the correlation coefficient was 0.9999. The average recovery rate was 101.3%, RSD was 0.40%( n =6). Conclusion: This method was simple, efficient and suitable to the quality control for Shedanchuanbei Oral Liquid and snake bile.

Objective To evaluate the changes in eutopic endometrial vascularity of endometriosis using three-dimensional power Doppler ultrasound.Methods Forty-four women with endometriosis and 51 normal controls were studied by three-dimensional power Doppler ultrasound.Eutopic endometrial volume,vascularization index (VI),flow index (FI) and vascularization flow index (VFI) were calculated using VOCAL software.Results In proliferative phase,the mean VI was (5.499 ± 5.153)％ in patients with endometriosis and ( 1.135 ± 1.333) ％ in normal controls ( P ＜0.001 ),the mean FI was (28.832 ± 4.279)dB in patients with endometriosis and (25.544 ± 3.465)dB in normal controls ( P =0.006),the VFI was (1.769 ± 1.981 )dB in patients with endometriosis and (0.321 ± 0.397)dB in normal controls( P =0.002).In secretory phase,the mean VI was (8.693 ± 5.940) ％ in patients with endometriosis and ( 1.014±0.968)％ in normal controls ( P ＜0.001); the mean FI was (30.689 ± 3.632)dB in patients with endometriosis and (24.748 ± 3.811 )dB in normal controls( P ＜0.001 ),the VFI was (2.753 ± 2.044)dB in patients with endometriosis and (0.27 ± 0.293)dB in normal controls( P =0.001 ).Both in proliferative and secretory phase,no significant difference in endometrial volume between the two groups was observed ( P =0.108 and 0.068,respectively).Conclusions Three-dimensional power ultrasound provides a useful tool to investigate eutopic endometrial vascularization of endimetriosis.

Objective To evaluate the value of diagnosis in fallopian tube patency by using four dimensional transvaginal hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography (4D-HyCoSy) and two-dimensional transvaginal hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography(2D-HyCoSy) with SonoVue in infertile women.Methods First,fifty seven infertile women(113 fallopian tubes) were examined by 4D-HyCoSy,then examined by 2D-HyCoSy,and the results of examination were respectively recorded.Results By 4D-HyCoSy,54 fallopian tubes were patency,42 were unobstructed but unsmooth flow,17 were obstructed.By 2D-HyCoSy,48 of them were patency,40 of them were unobstructed but unsmooth flow,25 of them were obstructed.Three fallopian tubes were obstructed by 4D-HyCoSy,but by 2D-HyCoSy they were patency.Eleven fallopian tubes were patency by 4D-HyCoSy,but obstructed by 2D-HyCoSy.Nine fallopian tubes were patency by 4D-HyCoSy,but fimbriated extremity of these fallopian tubes were far awary from homolateral overys.They were unuseful.Eighteen patients underwent laparoscopy,30 fallopian tubes (91.4％) were concordant with laparoscopy using combination of 4D-HyCoSy and 2D-HyCoSy,the sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value were 86.7 ％,90.5 ％,86.7 ％ and 90.5 ％.The concidence rate,sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value were 85.7％,84.6％,90.5％,84.6％ and 86.4％ by 4D-HyCoSy and 71.4％,64.7％,70.0％,64.7％ and 77.8％ by 2D-HyCoSy,respectively.Accuraty of combination of 4D-HyCoSy and 2D-HyCoSy was similar with laparoscopy.Five patients appeared moderate pelvic pain,three patients appeared mild pelvic pain,two patients appeared nausea and vomiting.None need resuscitation.Conclusions Combination of 4D-HyCoSy and 2D-HyCoSy can more accurately diagnose fallopian tube patency,it can judge if fallopian tube is valuable or not and reduce misdiagnosing.It is a simple,safe,accurate,efficient method for evaluating the fallopian tube patency.

Objective:To discover the epidemiological characteristics and clinical manifestations of Nontyphoidal Salmonella(NTS) infection in children suffering from diarrhea in Guangzhou, and to provide references for the prevention and treatment of salmonella infection. Methods:A total of 570 diarrhea children and 296 non-diarrhea controls were collected with stratified sampling from three districts of Guangzhou Women and Children′s Medical Center from January 2019 to December 2019. Through bacterial culture, corresponding colonies were selected and Salmonella diagnostic serum was applied for preliminary serum diagnosis, and then systemic biochemical method was adopted for diagnosis. A structured questionnaire was conducted to record the demographic information and clinical symptoms from each subject. Results:The detection rate of NTS was 6.67% (38/570 cases, 95% CI: 4.90%-9.02%) in children with diarrhea, and 1.01% (3/296 cases, 95% CI: 0.34%-2.93%) in children without diarrhea. There were statistically differences in NTS detection rate between children with diarrhea and the control ( χ2=13.805, P<0.05, OR=6.976, 95% CI: 2.135-22.796). There were no significant differences in NTS detection rate between male and female children with diarrhea ( χ2=0.395, P>0.05, OR=1.254, 95% CI: 0.619-2.541). The detection rate of NTS was 5.30% (22/416 cases, 95% CI: 3.52%-7.88%) in children younger than 2 years old, and was 10.40% (16/154 cases, 95% CI: 6.50%-15.21%) in children over 2 years old. There were statistically differences ( χ2=4.700, P<0.05, OR=2.076, 95% CI: 1.060-4.068) between the younger and the older groups.The detection rate of NTS was 5.40% (25/460 cases, 95% CI: 3.70%-7.89%) for children with diarrhea in outpatient department and 11.80% (13/110 cases, 95% CI: 7.04 %-19.18%) for children with diarrhea in inpatient department, with statistically significant differences ( χ2=5.813, P<0.05, OR=2.332, 95% CI: 1.152-4.721). The detection rate of NTS diarrhea in children was 4.60% (10/217 cases, 95% CI: 2.52%-8.28%) in spring, 8.50% (12/141 cases, 95% CI: 4.93%-14.29%) in summer, 9.60% (15/144 cases, 95% CI: 6.41%-16.48%) in autumn and 1.50% (1/168 cases, 95% CI: 0.11%-3.30%) in winter, respectively, with statistically differences among the four seasons( χ2=9.404, P<0.05). There were significant differences in most common clinical symptoms of fever, vomiting, abdominal pain, bloody stool and pasty stool between NTS positive and negative children(all P<0.05). Salmonella enteritis is the main type, and Salmonella typhimurium is the second type. Conclusions:NTS is one of the most important bacterial pathogens and leads to diarrhea in children in Guangzhou city, without differences in gender.Children over 2 years old are more likely to suffer from NTS infection.High incidence is in autumn.The most common clinical symptoms include fever, vomiting, abdominal pain, bloody stool and pasty stool. Salmonella enteritis is the main type, and Salmonella typhimurium is the second type.Laboratory tests can provide references for the diagnosis and treatment of NTS-related diarrhea.

ObjcetiveTo study the chimerism status ot bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSC) following double-unit cord blood stem cell transplantation (DCBT).MethodsBone marrow mononuclear cells were isolated by ficoll density gradient centrifugation from the patient following DCBT and healthy donors.After cultured for about 20 days,BMSC surface makers,the ability to differentiate into adipocytes and osteoblast and the expression of hematopoietic and immune molecules were detected,moreover,chimerism status of BMSC were also evaluated by STR-PCR.ResultsMSC derived from the patient were similar to normal adult BMSC in morphology,surface and differentiation ability.Besides,MSC from the patient can express a variety of hematopoietic and immune molecules normally.The results of STR-PCR showed that the patient demonstrated complete donor chimerism,hematopoiesis in BM and PB were from a single unit cord blood (donor chimerism was 96.4％ and 95.7％,respectively).But the predominant cord blood chimerism of BMSC was 5.4％,the remaining part was from the patient himself.ConclusionSustained hematopoiesis was derived from a single unit cord blood following DCBT.The majority of BMSC were origin from host tissue,mixed chimerism donor part of MSC stemed from the engrafted unit of cord blood.

Objective To present the clinical effect of dorsal carpometacarpal island flap with fascia, vessel and nerve to repair soft tissue defected. Methods The island flap was designed with root of fascia, dorsal metalcarpals artery and nerve.The flap to soft tissue defected in the nearby area was applied, including 30 cases in the last segment of thumb, 4 cases in the first segment of thumb, 1 case in the IP articulation of thumb, 1 case in the first segment of middle finger, 1 case in the carpometacarpal dorsal area and 1 case in the back of index finger. Results Thirty-eight cases were survived. All cases obtained good appearance and sensory recovery approach normally with little affection in supply area. Conclusions This method has advantage of simple, practical, high survive rate, low impairment, sensible and good appearance.

Viral infections remain the common cause of morbidity and mortality in immunocompromised patients receiving allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT).Virus antigens can be recognized by cytotoxic T-lymphocytes (CTL) in the context of HLA class Ⅰ molecules.T-cell-based immunotherapies are now being included in the clinical practice of transplant recipients to prevent and treat viral infections and complications associated with CMV,AdV and EBV.Here,the current status and future feasibility of CTL immunotherapy for virus infections after allo-HSCT are discussed.
