Chinese Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2003;0(11):-
Objective To explore the effects of sports training on endothelin-1 ( ET-1 ) and endothelin-1 receptor (ETR) and its subtypes in the myocardium in rats. Methods After sports training, levels of endothelin-1 were measured using radioimmunoassay, and changes in ETAR and ETBR levels by radioligand binding assay. Results The endothelin-1 level in myocardial cells was significantly reduced ( P

Chinese Journal of Medical Aesthetics and Cosmetology 2014;20(2):85-87
Objective To evaluate the the brow position and shape in young Chinese women using a photography measurement. Methods A total of 100 Chinese women aged 20 to 30 years were photographed to determine the distance between brow and eye.Measurements were made from a horizontal plane through the lateral canthus of right eye to three vertical points on the upper brow margin at the medial canthus, lateral limbus of the iris, and lateral canthus. Results The distance between brow and eye in young Chinese women was 2.12,2.52 and 2.46 cm at medial canthus, lateral limbus of the iris and lateral canthus, respectively. The distances were higher between the brows and eyes at lateral limbus of the iris and lateral canthus than that at medial canthus (P<0.05).Conclusions The measurement used in this study is a simple and practical quantitative method. The results can be used to guide the surgical choice and help to evaluate the surgical techniques.

Objective To analyze the relationship between cytotoxic T cells Perforin level, IFN-γand IL-10 in patients with chronic hepatitis B. Methods After a short-term cultivation of peripheral blood collected from 50 patients with chronic hepatitis B, a flow cytometry was employed to detect the levels of Per-forin, IFN-γ and IL-10 in CD8~+ cells to compare with those of the health donors the HBV DNA copies in their blood were also measured by RT-PCR to analyze the relationship with Perforin, IFN-γ, and IL-10 in CD8~+ cells. Results In patients with chronic hepatitis B, the levels of Perforin, IFN-γ and IL-10 in CD8~+ ceils were (5.30 ± 2.62)%, (4.05 ± 2.25) % and (0.77 ± 0.50) %, respectively, which were statistical-ly lower than health donors(the t values were 4.50, 4.56 and 4.20 respectively; P < 0.01) ; Of 26 cases of chronic hepatitis B patients with HBeAg-positive Pefforin and IFN-γ in CD8~+ T cells were (4.54 ± 1.93) % and (3.32 ± 1.59)%, respectively, significantly lower than those of the 24 chronic hepatitis B patients with HBeAg-negative (the t values were 2.22 and 2.54, respectively; P <0.05) ; And the levels of Perforin, IFN-γ had a negative relation with the HBV DNA copies (the coefficient correlations-0. 539 and-0. 340; P < 0.01 and P < 0.05). Conclusion In patients with chronic hepatitis B, the reduced levels of Pefforin, IFN-γ and IL-10 may be related with the long-term existence of HBV, and the protracted course of disease.

Hepatic eosinophilic granuloma (HEG) is a rare benign liver disease, which belongs to histocytosis.Preoperative diagnosis of HEG was difficult because its clinical manifestation was not characteristic. In this article, the clinical data of 1 patient with HEG who was treated at the Jinhua Municipal Central Hospital of Zhejiang Province in September 2012 were retrospectively analyzed, and the diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment for HEG were investigated.

Objective To ob se rve the effects of danazol on hypothalamus-pituitary-gonad axises and expressi ons of hypothalamic GnRH and pituitary GnRH receptor mRNA in female rats. Methods Female rats at 5 days of age were given a sin gle subcutaneous injection of 300 ?g danazol to induce true precocious puberty. Animals were divided into 3 groups: normal control, model group and vehicle gro up. The day of vaginal opening from 25 days of age was monitored, and the establ ishment of first estrus cycle from the day of vaginal opening was investigated b y examination of vaginal smears. The weights of body, pituitary, adrenal, uterus and ovary were measured to identify the developmental status of main organs. Th e expressions of hypothalamic GnRH and pituitary GnRH receptor mRNA were assayed by semi-quantitative RT-PCR. Results Female rats treated with danazol significantly (P

Objective To detect serum level of anti-M-type phospholipase A2 receptor (PLA2R) antibody in elderly patients with idiopathic membranous nephropathy (IMN) and to explore its clinical significance in IMN disease. Methods A total of 134 patients with renal biopsy-proved glomerular diseases were enrolled in this study, including 42 elderly cases with IMN,45 non-elderly cases with IMN,19 elderly cases with minimal change nephropathy (MCN),12 elderly cases with IgA nephropathy (IgAN),8 elderly cases with hepatitis B-associated membranous nephropathy (HBV-MN) and 8 elderly cases with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS).Western blotting was used to detect serum anti-PLA2R antibody and the correlation of anti-PLA2R antibody with laboratory parameters in elderly IMN patients was analyzed. Results The elderly and non-elderly patients with IMN showed that the positive rate of anti-PLA2R antibody was 71.4% and 73.3%,respectively (P> 0.05).The positive rate of anti-PLA2R antibody in elderly IgA nephropathy,HBV-MN and MCN patients was 16.7 %,12.5% and 5.3% respectively.Anti-PLA2R antibody was not detected in serum from elderly FSGS patients. The positive rates of serum anti-PLA2R antibody were significantly higher in both elderly and non-elderly IMN patients than in elderly patients with secondary MN and other types of glomerlonephritis (P < 0.01).Furthermore,anti-PLA2R autoantibody level was positively correlated with 24-hour urine protein level and negatively correlated with the concentration of serum albumin in elderly patients with IMN (P<0.01).Conclusions Anti-PLA2R antibody is a sensitive serological marker of IMN.Detection for anti-PLA2R antibody might be helpful for the diagnosis of both elderly and non-elderly IMN and for the monitor of IMN disease severity.

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 2003;0(11):-
Objective To evaluate the multi-slice spiral CT scan of liver dynamic dual-phase three-dimensional vascular imaging portal phase clinical value. Methods 80 cases in clinic, who were patients with liver function and imaging diagno- sis of liver and portal hypertension in liver cirrhosis, and 20 cases of healthy persons were carried out multi-slice spiral CT dual-phase scanning. The workstation used volume rendering techniques (VR) and maximum density multi-planar recon- struction technique for reconstruction. Results The hepatic arterial phase VR image and MIP MPR images can clearly show the celiac trunk, splenic artery, hepatic artery or artery and its branches, including 2-3 grade tumor blood supply variation of blood vessels and blood vessels, the portal venous phase, VR images and MIP MPR images clearly show the 1-6 level structure and the portal vein and hepatic vein branches of 1-3, with strong three-dimensional sense of space. Conclusion The multi-slice spiral CT three-dimensional reconstruction of portal vein imaging is a fast and effective non-invasive an- giography techniques, contributing to the clinical choice of reasonable efficacy of treatment programs and follow-up.
