2.Effect of pre-operation intestinal preparation by orally taking magnesium sulfate of two different concentration
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2010;26(20):30-33
Objective To explore the effect of pre-operation intestinal preparation by orally taking magnesium sulfate of different concentrations. Methods 50 patients were divided into the high-concentration group and the low - concentration group, according to the concentration of magnesium sulfate orally taken for pre-operation intestinal preparation. Some factors were compared between the two groups including: the acting amount of water, starting and lasting timing of magnesium sulfate, times of stool, the efficiency of the intestinal preparation, the tolerance, uncomfortable reaction and changes of serum electrolyte of the patients. Results There were no difference between the two groups on the acting amount of water, starting and lasting timing of magnesium sulfate, times of stool, the efficiency of the intestinal preparation, the tolerance of the patients. The rate of the stool without solid substance was higher in the high-concentration group than the low-concentration group(40% vs 8%). The uncomfortable reaction rate was also higher in the high-concentration group, the concentration of serum electrolyte decreased in both groups, among which serum Ca2+ decreased significantly in the low-concentration group. Conclusions Orally taking magnesium sulfate of different concentrations both has effect on bowel preparation, influence on patients' serum electrolyte is remarkable.
3.Determination of Ionization Equilibrium Constant of Sildenafil by UV Spectrophotometry
China Pharmacy 1991;0(02):-
OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for determination of ionization equilibrium constant of sildenafil using ultraviolet spectrophotometry.METHODS:Methanol solutions of sildenafil with pH values of 2.26,8.56,9.31,9.83 and 12.38 were respectively scanned at the wavelength within the range of 200nm~400nm.The absorbability and pKa value of sildenafil were determined at the selected wavelength of 280,287,290,295 and 297nm respectively.RESULTS:The pKa value of sildenafil was 9.35?0.02.CONCLUSION:The present method is convenient and practicable.
4.Research of helicobacter pylori in gastric cancer development mechanism
Cancer Research and Clinic 2011;23(7):500-502
Numerous studies showed that Helicobacter pylori (HP) infection and gastric cancer have a correlation, which is a important factor to influence the development of gastric cancer, with scholars' intensive research, it is found that the way of HP acting on gastric cancer is complicated and diverse, this review summarizes the role of HP in mechanism, correlation factor and action way of gastric cancer.
5.Effect of Hot-needle Therapy and Herbal Medicine Fuming-washing Combined with Western Medicine on Rheumatoid Arthritis:An Observation of 128 Cases
Journal of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2000;0(04):-
【Objective】To observe the influence of hot-needle therapy and herbal medicine fuming-washing combined with western medicine for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis(RA).【Methods】One hundred and twenty-eight RA patients were equally randomized into two groups: group A received hot-needle therapy and herbal medicine fuming-washing combined with western medicine of meloxicam, salazosulfamide, and methotrexate, and group B was treated with western medicine only. The treatment lasted one month.Symptoms and signs of early morning stiffness time, grip strength, joints with tenderness count, tenderness index, auricular rest pain, swollen joints count, swelling index as well as the evaluation by the patients themselves and the doctors were observed before and after treatment.Meanwhile, the changes of rheumatoid factor(RF),C-reactive protein(CRP),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),the white blood cell(WBC) count and platelet(PLT) count were evaluated before and after treatment.【Results】The total effective rate in group A was 78.1%,which was superior to 53.1% in group B(P
6.Updated relationship between sleep and erectile function.
National Journal of Andrology 2016;22(3):252-257
Penile erection (PE) is a physiological phenomenon involving complex mechanisms. PE may occur as reactive erections, psychogenic erections in the conscious state and spontaneous erections during the sleep. Sleep-related PE refers to the erections occurring spontaneously during the sleep with rapid eye movement. Studies have shown a correlation between sleep and PE as well as between sleep disorders and erectile dysfunction but not yet revealed the exact mechanisms. This paper updates the relationship between sleep and erectile function.

Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of a newly designed modular flexible ureteroscope with holmium laser lithotripsy for the treatment of renal calculi based. Methods 40 patients were treated with modular flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy (German Polydiagnost) with holmium laser. 40 patients were treated by traditional flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy. Their therapeutic effects were compared. Results For modular flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy group, 37 patients underwent successful operation, with lithotripsy with operation time of (86.0 ± 34.4) min and postoperative hospital stay of (5.3 ± 1.6) days. No severe complication including ureteral perforation, high fever or severe bleeding occurred. One month after the operation, KUB and B-ultrasonography showed complete stone free in 35 patients. Residual calculi (0. 4 cm in diameter) in the calyces were found in 2 patients. Medication and postural drainage therapy were applied. Two weeks later , KUB and B-ultrasonography showed that the residual stones have been removed completely. There was no significant differences in stone size , operation time, rate of calculus clearance, the incidence of postoperative complications, operating time and duration of postoperative hospitalization between the traditional flexible ureteroscopic lithotripsy group and modular ureteroscopic lithotripsy group. Conclusions The modular flexible ureteroscope is effective and safe in treating reanl calculi. It has similar surgical efficacy as traditional flexible ureteroscope , but is more costly effective in terms of maintenance costs.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2014;(7):908-911
The P2X7 receptor (P2X7 R)is a nonselective cation channel activated by extracellular ATP,and it may trigger the se-cretion of several proinflammatory substances, such as IL-1β, IL-18,TNF-α,and nitric oxide.Several preclinical studies have demonstrated that this receptor participates in inflammation and pain mechanisms, and compounds that modulate the function of this receptor show potential as new anti-inflammatory medicines. Therefore,P2X7 receptors play particularly important physiologi-cal roles and have potential clinical application in inflammation and pain, which proves it a therapeutic target for pain manage-ment.
