Objective To evaluate the damaging degree of hepatic cell in the patients with hepatocirrhosis. Methods 25 cases of hepatocirrhosis and 13 eases of normal controls were performed the dynamic imaging with 99mTc-EHIDA.By the three compartmental model configurations,the time-activity curers of the liver cell,and the function indexes liver cell extraction and excretion were calculated.Results The peak time and mean residence time in the hepatocirrhosis group were higher than those in the normal controls(P＜0.01).Compared to normal controls, the peak value,index of uptake,take slope,and excretion slope of the hepatocirrhosis were all lower(P＜0.01).Con- clusion Liver cell imaging is a better method for reflecting the change of liver cell function,and may be used to analyse the degree of hepatocirrhosis.

Objective To observe the influence of XueShuanXinMaiNing(XSXMN)in the behavior and structures of cerebral cortex and hippocampus of the rats withβamyloid protein(Aβ)-induced Alzheimer’s disease(AD),and to explore its therapeutic effects on the rat AD.Methods 100 male Wistar rats were selected.According to weight, the rats were randomly divided into sham operation group, model group, positive drug group (donepezil hydrochloride,1.75 mg· kg-1 ),XSXMN 1.1 g· kg-1 group and XSXMN 2.2 g· kg-1 group. The rat AD models were made by injecting Aβinto hippocampus.After oral administration for 15 d,Morris water maze test, dark avoidance task and pathology test were performed.Results In Morris water maze test,compared with model group,the latency and swimming distance to platform of the rats in XSXMN 1.1 g·kg-1 group were decreased on the 2nd,4th and 5th day(P<0.05 or P<0.01);in XSXMN 2.2 g·kg-1 group,the latency to platform of the rats were decreased from the 3nd to 6th day(P<0.05 or P<0.01),the swimming distances to platform of the rats were decreased from the 3rd to 5th day(P<0.05 or P<0.01).On the 7th day,in XSXMN groups,the times of passing platform,time of staying on platform,distance of staying on platform,time of staying in effective area, distance of staying in effective area, time of staying on platform/total time, distance of staying on platform/total distance,time of staying on platform/total time were all increased significantly(P<0.05 or P<0.01)within 90 s. In dark avoidance task,compared with model group,the error latency and the error times of the rats in XSXMN groups had no obvious change on the 2nd day.The pathological results showed that there were degeneration nerve cells and necrosis nerve cells in the rat cerebral cortex in XSXMN groups,while in the rat hippocampus there were less number of nerve cells with obscure cell layer and many degeneration and necrosis cells were found;compared with model group,there was no obvious improvement.Conclusion XSXMN can improve the learning and memory function of the AD rats.

Objective To analyze the influence of adenovirus latent infection on gamma-glutamylcysteine systhetase(γ-GCS) in rat alveolar epithelial cells. Methods The rat alveolar epithelial cells were stably transfected with the plasmid pE1Aneo and control plasmid. Glutathione(GSH) contents, the activity of γ-GCS were detected in oxidant stress. Then the leuel of protein expression, mRNA expression, and promoter transcriptional activity of glutamate-cysteine ligase catalytic subunit(GCLC) were further detected. Results GSH contents decreased because of adenovirus E1A expression in oxidant stress. E1A repressed the expression and activity of γ-GCS, messenger RNA expression, and promoter transcriptional activity of GCLC. Conclusion Adenovirus E1A decreased the activity of γ-GCS probably by repressed promoter transcriptional activity of GCLC. As a result, GSH contents were downregulated in oxidant stress. Thus Adenovirus latent infection amplified the oxidant/antioxidant imbalance in rat alveolar epithelial cells in oxidants stress, which may be an important mechanism of COPD.

Objective To investigate the effect of rocuronium on spectral entropy during induction of general anesthesia in patients of Uygur nstionality. Methods Forty ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients (Uygur nationality) of both sexes, aged 20-50 yr, weighing 45-70 kg, undergoing elective surgery under general anesthesia, were divided into 2 groups ( n = 20 each): normal saline (NS) group and rocuronium group (group R). Anesthesia was induced with target-controlled infusion of propofol. The initial target plasma concentration wan net at 2 μg/ml. The concentration wan then increased by 0.5 μg/ml every 4 min until response entropy (RE) was decreased to 45 and maintained for 4 min. When the plasma concentration was equal to the effect-site concentration, iv rocuronium 0.6 mg/kg was injected in group R, while group NS received the equal volume of NS instead. Fentanyl 3 μg/kg was injected intravenously at 3 min after recuronium administration. The patients were tracheal intubated and mechanically ventilated. State entropy (SE) and RE were recorded immediately before induction (baseline, To), before rocuronium administration (T1), 2 main after rocuronium administration (T2) and at 0, 1, 2 and 3 min after intubation (T3-6). The difference between RE and SE wan calculated. Results The RE value at T3 and T4 and the difference between RE and SE at T2.5 were significantly lower in group R than in group NS ( P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion Rocuronium can decrease the RE value and degree of increase in the difference between RE and SE during induction of general anesthesia in patients of Uygur nationality, which may affect the accuracy of spectral entropy in monitoring the depth of anesthesia.

Objective To evaluate the value of high frequency ultrasound in sciatic nerve of rat with diabetic neuropathy.Methods Fifty male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 4 groups:Diabetic animals were induced by intravenous injection of streptozotocin after high fat feed for 1 month,after which rats were grouped as 3-month (n =12) and 5-month (n =20) diabetes.Control group were received the streptozotocin vehicle and were classified as 3-month group (n =8) and 5-month group (n =10).Ultrasounic study of cross sectional area (CSA) and pathologic study including number and area of nerve fiber were performed at 3 and 5 months according to the disigned.Results The CSA,number and area of nerve fiber in 5 month diabetes were significantly reduced than 5-month control group (t =5.121,P ＜ 0.05; t =7.113,P ＜0.05; t =6.328,P ＜0.05).The CSA were statistically with the number and area of nerve fiber in 5 month diabetic group (r =0.732,P ＜0.05 ; r =0.715,P ＜0.05).However,the CSA had no significant correlation with the number and area of nerve fiber between 3-month diabetes and control group (P ＞0.05).Conclusions The CSA of sciatic nerve can evaluate the diabetic neuropathy of rat,which might be regarded as a potential index in diagnose of diabetic neuropathy.

Objective To investigate the risk factors for sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) after intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT).Methods From January 2012 to January 2013,29 patients with histopathologically confirmed NPC who received radiotherapy alone or concurrent chemoradiotherapy were included in this study.All patients underwent hearing tests,including pure tone audiometry and acoustic immittance measurement,before and after the IMRT.The cochlear doses for each ear were also collected for analysis.A prospective analysis was performed to investigate the relationship between cochlear dose and SNHL in patients with NPC,and the effects of other factors,including time after radiotherapy,chemotherapy,T stage,and age,were also analyzed.Results Of the 58 ears studied,6(10％) had low-frequency SNHL,and 17 (29％) had highfrequency SNHL.There were significant differences in mean cochlear doses between the patients who developed SNHL after radiotherapy and those who did not (left ears:46.1 Gy vs.35.5 Gy,P =0.006;right ears:45.0 Gy vs.35.8 Gy,P =0.009).When the mean cochlear dose was less than 44 Gy,only 15％ (6/38) of ears had high-frequency SNHL.The invasion of skull base bone was also a significant risk factor for SNHL(P =0.047),but age,chemotherapy,and time after IMRT were not significant risk factors.Conclusions The mean cochlear dose and invasion of skull base bone are significant risk factors for SNHL in patients with NPC after radiotherapy.It is recommended that the mean cochlear dose should be limited to 44 Gy to minimize the incidence of SNHL after IMRT.

Objective:To observe the changes in coagulation parameters, peripheral blood cytokines, NF-kappa B signaling pathway protein, laboratory indexes in Sjogren′s syndrome ( SS ) patients, thus to explore the mechanism of hypercoagulable state. Methods:60 patients with SS and 20 healthy persons were randomly selected as the study group and the control group;Automatic coagulation analyzer was used to detect the value of coagulation parameters [ activated partial thromboplastin time ( APTT) ,prothrombin time ( PT) , plasma fibrinogen ( FIB ) , prothrombin time ( TT ) , D-dimer ( DD ) ]; ELISA method was performed to observe the expression of related cytokines(IL-1β,TNF-α,IL-10) and NF-κB signaling pathway proteins (p65,p50,IκBα); Westergren method was used to determine erythrocyte sedimentation rate ( ESR) ,and automatic biochemical analyzer to examine immune protein( IgG,IgA, IgM,GLO) and high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP). Results: Blood coagulation parameters in 60 patients with SS were at least one abnormal for 46 cases,accounting for 76. 7% of the subjects. Among them,the abnormal rate of D-D was the highest,followed by FIB,APTT,PT,TT. Compared with the control group,D-D,FIB were significantly increased in SS patients,and TT,PT,APTT was not found obviously different. In addition,IL-1β,TNF-α,P50,P65,IκBα and inflammatory indexes like ESR,hs-CRP,IGg,GLO,ESSDAI, corneal staining score increased while the salivary flow rate,tear film break-up time and IL-10 decreased significantly( P<0. 05 or P<0. 01). Correlation analysis showed that the coagulation parameters FIB were positively correlated with the salivary flow rate,TNF-α, P50,P65,ESR,hs-CRP,while negatively correlated with IL-10,that TT was negatively correlated with TNF-α;that D-D was positively correlated with TNF-α, IL-1β, P65, ESR, hs-CRP, ESSDAI and corneal staining score, while negatively correlated with IL-10. Conclusion: SS patients generally have hypercoagulable state, and may be associated with the imbalance of cytokines, abnormal activation NF-kappa B signaling pathway,which mediates vascular endothelial cell damage,causing coagulation/fibrinolytic system dis-orders.

Objective To analyze the clinicopathological characteristics of patients with gastrointestinal malignant tumor in some parts of Hainan province and alien patients outside of Hainan province. Methods Three hundred and fifteen patients who were diagnosed by pathological confirmation were selected in Hainan Branch of PLA General Hospital from Jun 2012 to June 2016, clinicopathological parameters including age, gender, tumor location, cancer cell differentiation, body mass index (BMI), body surface area (BSA), value of preoperative tumor markers, TNM stages, microsatellite state, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (Her-2) staining, Ki-67 index and risk factors were collected and compared between local and alien patients. Results In contrast with patients outside of Hainan province, a significant lesser BMI [colorectal cancer: (23 ± 3) kg/m2 vs. (24 ± 4) kg/m2, t=-3.69, P< 0.05; gastric cancer: (21.50 ± 3.15) kg/m2 vs. (23.00 ± 3.61) kg/m2, t=-2.11, P=0.04] and BSA [colorectal cancer:[(1.73 ± 0.18) m2 vs. (1.82 ± 0.18) m2, t=-3.46, P<0.05;gastric cancer:(1.73 ± 0.16) m2 vs. (1.81 ± 0.18) m2, t=-2.09, P=0.04] were found in local patients. Local patients with colorectal cancer were much more younger [(57 ± 13) years old vs. (62 ± 13) years old, t=-2.30, P=0.02], with corresponding elevated positive rate of preoperative CEA (χ2=4.56, P= 0.03), T stages (χ2 = 8.31, P= 0.04) and TNM stages (χ2= 11.19, P= 0.01), however, no such difference was detected in gastric cancer patients (all P>0.05). Conclusions Patients with gastrointestinal cancer in some parts of Hainan province, in particular, colorectal cancer patients, present some exceptional clinicopathological features, which are marked by younger age at diagnosis, low level of BMI and BSA. In addition, preoperative level of CEA would be of important for these patients.
