1.The impact of rh-LIF on HL-60 cell line
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1986;0(03):-
Objective:To investigate the effect and mechanism of rh-LIF on proliferation and differentiation of HL-60 cell line.Methods:HL-60 cells were treated with different dosage of rh-LIF for 3 to 6 days, cell cycle was analysed by flow cytometry, expression of P53 and P21 protein were observed by immunohistochemistry and P53 mRNA were assayed by in situ hybridization.Results:HL-60 cell line could differentiate into monocyte and macrophage cell line in the presence of rh-LIF.The proliferation of HL-60 cells were inhibited in the presence of rh-LIF,the cells stagnated at G 1 stage, while expression of P53,P21 protein and P53 mRNA were increased obviously. Conclusion:The effects of rh-LIF on the proliferation and differentiation of HL-60 cells may be associated with the increase of P53,P21 protein and P53mRNA.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2015;(9):962-965
Objective Medical statistics is an important tool in scientific research and practice. The article was to evaluate the current knowledge, learning needs and related influencing factors of medical statistics among medical doctoral students to provide references for the optimization in the teaching mode of medical statistics. Methods A questionnaire was used to investigate Grade 2014 doctoral students who took medical statistics course before and after the teaching in a medical university. Results The knowl-edge of doctoral students were at different levels and they had different learning requirements.More than 81.4% of the respondents have difficulty in the choice of scientific and reasonable design and the scientific design.Over 50%students had insufficient knowledge of advanced statistics and poor software application ability. They had the demands for more practical cases explanation in theory course, more software teaching hours and some short term specialized courses. Conclusion The university and teachers should carry out teaching reform according to the particularity of doctoral students and teach in small sections according to their knowledge levels of sta-tistics and learning requirements. It is suggested that the teaching should be combined with the students'own research projects in order to improve the teaching effect and improve the students'ability in sta-tistical design and solving the practical problem in scientific research statistics.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2011;10(6):721-723
ObjectiveTo mprove the tranditional case-based teaching method and initially using it in forensic psychiatry teaching, so as to provide some useful references to forensic psychiatry and other applied disciplines. MethodThe improved case-based teaching method was used in 2005 ~ 2006 forensic medcine classes in North Sichuan Medical College.ResultsThe scores of two classes using the improved case-based teaching method were significantly higher than the class which did not used it ( F=72.38 ~ 85.17;P<0.01 ).And students gave it higher rating.ConclusionUsing this method, the students' learning enthusiasm was stimulated, their professional knowledge and skills were comprehensive and deeply mastered by discussion and their ability to solve pratical problems was improved, which might be effective to enhancing the teaching of applied disciplines.

Basic & Clinical Medicine 2017;37(1):128-132
Paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria ( PNH) is a clonal hematopoietic stem cell disease characterized by intravascular hemolytic anemia , pancytopenia and thrombosis .Although PNH is an non-malignant disease , its complications have very negative impacts on patient's quality of life .The most common serious complication is thrombosis formation .

Chinese Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2001;0(07):-
Objective To investigate the effect of the inhalation of nitrous oxide premixed with oxygen (50%∶50%) for analgesia labor on maternal and fetus. Methods A total of 100 cases of pregnant women were provided with nitrous oxide premixed with oxygen (50%∶50%) (control group); Another 100 cases were provided only with oxygen (comparison group). Recording duration of the Labor, way of delivery, bleeding volume, Apgars score, blood gas analysis to maternal radius artery and fetal umbilical blood among all patients. Results The effect for analgesia labor of the premixed gas was much better than that of control group, but there were no significant differences in time of labor, bleeding volume, Apgars score between the two groups. Conclusions The inhalation of nitrous oxide premixed with oxygen (50%∶50%) for analgesia labor benefits pregnant women because of keeping them being a good mental and physical condition. The inhalation of nitrous oxide for analgesia labor is a safe, effective and easy method.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(40):6482-6487
BACKGROUND:Canada Montreal Scholar Mutch et al have recently proposed a new morphologic classification of fracture of greater tuberosity of humerus. They divided these fractures into three typeavulsion, split and depression.
OBJECTIVE:To compare the recovery of shoulder function after conventional plate-screw and hol ow-screw fixation for the repair of the split fracture of greater tuberosity of humerus.
METHODPatients with greater tuberosity of humerus, who were treated in the Department of Orthopedics of Yichang Yiling Hospital, China from January 2010 to January 2014, were classified according to Mutch’s classification. A total of 83 patients with split greater tuberosity of humerus after complete fol ow-up were retrospectively analyzed. Of them, 23 cases received plate-screw fixation as plate-screw group, and 60 cases received hol ow-screw fixation as hol ow-screw group. Visual Analog Scale, the United States Scores of Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, and Constant and Murley Scoring Systems were utilized to assess the therapeutic outcomes. Patient’s pain and changes in shoulder function were analyzed before and after treatment.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:A total of 83 patients were fol owed up. Fixator was obtained at 1 year after surgery in al patients. No significant difference in Visual Analog Scale, the United States Scores of Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, and Constant and Murley Scoring Systems was detected in both groups before treatment (P>0.05). Significant differences in Visual Analog Scale, the United States Scores of Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, and Constant and Murley Scoring Systems were detectable in both groups at 16 months after removal of the fixator (P<0.05). Data were better in the hol ow-screw group than in the plate-screw group. Above results suggested that hol ow-screw fixation in the repair of split fracture of greater tuberosite of humerus is simple to be operated, with smal trauma, and is an ideal fixation method. Clinical repair effect is better than plate-screw fixation.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(34):5530-5534
BACKGROUND:A single hemostatic material has been proved not to facilitate wound healing or to produce certain adverse reactions; while composites composed of two or three different materials can improve the
advantage and histocompatibility of hemostatic materials.
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of gelatin sponge impregnated with hemocoagulase solution on amount of bleeding in patients with lumbar fractures undergoing posterior spinal decompression.
METHODS: Fifty patients with lumbar fractures who were scheduled for open reduction, pedicle screw fixation
and laminectomy were enroled, including 25 cases treated with gelatin sponge impregnated with hemocoagulase before surgical incision closure as test group and 25 cases treated with single gelatin sponge before surgical
incision closure as control group. Postoperative drainage volume, drainage time, length of stay, number of re-admissions and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The postoperative drainage volume, drainage time and length of stay in the test group were significantly less than those in the control group (P < 0.000 1). No infection, epidural hematoma, or
re-admission of patients was found, and there was no hemocoagulase-impregnated absorbable gelatin sponge- related adverse reaction. These findings indicate that posterior laminectomy with hemocoagulase-impregnated gelatin sponge can significantly reduce patients’ postoperative wound drainage and shorten the length of stay.
