5.Study of effects and its mechanism of sevoflurane preconditioning on cardiovascular function of coronary heart patients
Journal of Chinese Physician 2014;(7):897-900
Objective To investigate the effects of sevoflurane preconditioning on cardiovascular function in patients with coro -nary heart diseases , and explore its mechanism .Methods Eighty patients with coronary heart disease during 2009 January to 2012 December from our hospital patients were selected and randomly divided into the study group ( 41 cases ) and control group ( 39 ca-ses) .Patients in study group were given sevoflurane preconditioning , while the control group were given propofol .A series of parame-ters were recorded, including the patient's heart rate (HR), central venous pressure (CVP), mean arterial pressure (MAP), stroke volume (SV), cardiac output (CO), systolic time ratio (STR) and serum cardiac troponin T (cTnT) before induction of anesthesia (T0), 30min (T1) during the operation, incision suture (T2), 6h after operation (T3), 12h after operation (T4), and 24 h after op-eration (T5).Results HR, CO, SV, CVP, MAP, STR, and cTnT of the research group were relatively more stable than the control group in the preoperative, intraoperative, postoperative, and recovery. The study group at CO, T1, SV, STR, and cTnT were (3.48 ±0.40)L/min, (6.4 ±1.9)ml/(min· m2), (0.36 ±0.76), (0.227 ±0.112)ng/ml, CO, SV, STR in T2 and cTnT were (3.58 ±0.52)L/min, (6.6 ±2.3)ml/(min· m2), (0.36 ±0.63), (0.241 ±0.115)ng/ml, control group T1 at CO, SV, STR and cTnT were (3.11 ±0.53)L/min, (5.2 ±2.1)ml/(min· m2), (0.46 ±0.81), (0.351 ±0.106)ng/ml, CO, SV, STR in T2 and cTnT were (3.15 ±0.61)L/min, (5.7 ±1.5)ml/(min· m2), (0.44 ±0.90), (0.311 ±0.112) ng/ml.The patients in study group were in T1 CO, SV CO in T1 , SV, T2 times higher than that in control group .STR in T1 , T2 point was lower than that of the control group, cTnT in T1 , T2 point was lower than that of the control group , and the difference between the groups was statistically significant ( P <0.05 ) .Research group of patients with CO , SV higher than that in control group at in T 1 ,T2 , and STR lower than that at T 1 , T2 , cTnT lower than that of the control group at in T 1 , T2 , and the differences were statistically significant ( P <0.05 ) .Conclusions Sevoflurane preconditioning can make the hemodynamics more stable , more suitable for clinical anesthesia , and its mechanism may be related to the changes of cardiac troponin T .
6.Protective effect of chlorpnomazine on ischemic heart of rats and its mechanisms
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(04):-
Protective effects of chlorpromazine on ischemic heart and its mechanisms were investigated in rats with acute myocardial infarction (MI). 30 SD female rats were divided into three groups. the ischemia group, being subjected MI by coronary ligation, the MI+chlorpromazine group and the control. All samples were taken at 2 hours after operation. The ischemia group, as compared to the control, showed remarkable ultrastructural damage in ischemic myocardium and significant increases in serum CPKmb by 77%, serum cortisol by 67% and serum malondialdehyde (MDA) by 25%(P
7.Effect of angiotensin on the hypertrophy of myocardial cells in culture
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(01):-
Experiments were carried on cultured neonatal myocardial cells of rat to study the effects of angiotensin Ⅰ(AngⅠ) and Ⅱ (AngⅡ) on the synthesis of DNA, RNA, protein and on the cardiac hypertrophy. It was shown that the incorporation of both ~3H-TdR and ~(14)C-uR increased over a set of time periods after addition of AngⅠ and AngⅡ to the medium. The mean protein content of the single myocardial cell was also enhanced, and the volume of myocardial cell was increased significantly after a continuous stimulation of AngⅠ and AngⅡ for 7 days. No stimulation effect was observed either in the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and protein or in the volume of myocardial cells after addition of AngⅠ together with the angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor(ACEI, captopril). These results indicated that: (1). AngⅠ acts as a regulator by its indirect stimulation effect on the synthesis of DNA, RNA and protein of myocardial cells, since it must be changed into AngⅡ by the ACE present in myocardial cells. The ACE can be inhibited by the ACEI: (2) The hypertrophy of cultured neonatal myocardial cells may induced by a continuous stimulation of AngⅠ and AngⅡ.
8.Connotation exploration of vessel and meridian: from concretization to abstraction.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(5):497-500
According to the records in Neijing (Internal Classic), this article discusses the relationship during the connotative evolution of mai (vessel) and jing (meridian) in the three aspects, named mai (vessels), the evolution from mai (vessel) to jing (meridian), and the connotation replacement of jing (meridian) with mai (vessel). The study results show that the connotation of Jingmai is originated from mai (vessel), but more enriched, which cannot be confused with each other. The recognition on the connotation of jingmai from mai (vessel) to jing (meridian) is the process of TCM understanding from concretization to abstraction, and from the entity to the concept. Jing (meridian) represents the law on the longitudinal and invariable running course of meridian, differenti from the perspective in western medicine in human body. This law results from the naive observation and is based on the rational summary and thinking, and it stands up the approval from practice. The description of jing (meridian) as mai (vessel) is just the superficial description of this term. In fact, its concept infers to the connotation of meridian.
