CpG oligodeoxynucleotides (ODN) have potent immunostimulatory effects and can enhance the anti-cancer activity of cancer treatments. CpG ODN directly induced the activation and maturation of plasmacytoid dendritic cells, stimulated the secretion of Th1-type cytokines, and enhanced the differentiation of B cells into antibody-secreting plasma cells. CpG oligodeoxynucleotides as vaccine adjuvants can enhance both the humoral and cellular responses to antigens in some clinical trails. CpG ODN was applied in several clinical trials as an adjuvant of tumor vaccine. CpG ODN alone had anti-tumor activity and had synergistic effects with other anti-tumor therapies including monoclonal antibodies, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, cytokines, etc. Compared with standard regimen, in the phase Ⅲ clinical trial CpG ODN did not prolong the median survival time and induced severe adverse reaction in the treatment of ⅢB-Ⅳ stage non-small cell lung cancer. But CpG ODN had definite anti-cancer activity in other clinical trials. The safety and efficacy of CpG ODN in anti-tumor therapy needs to be further verified in clinic.

Aquatic plant duckweed can enrich high concentration of arsenic, it is thus used as the representative of phytofiltration.The mechanism of arsenic tolerance in duckweeds has received much concern.In this study, synchrotron radiation X-ray fluorescence (SRXRF) and X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) techniques were used to study the micro-distribution and speciation of arsenic in natural As-rich duckweed from lead-zinc mine.Two monolithic duckweeds, FP1 and FP2, were analyzed by micro SRXRF, setting single point scan time and spot size were 5 s, 70 μm×80 μm and 2 s, 100 μm×100 μm respectively.Six points of FP2 were selected and analyzed by micro XANES in energy range of 11.81-11.96 keV.Pressed-pellet duckweed was analyzed by bulk XANES in energy range of 11.67-12.27 keV.The result showed that As(Ⅲ) was the major speciation of duckweed from bulk XANES and micro-XANES data.SRXRF micro analysis showed that arsenic had significant vein distribution in duckweed, and was not spread into the photosynthetic mesophyll within certain concentration, which may reduce the leaf toxicity triggered by arsenic.This vein distribution may play a role in arsenic tolerance in duckweed.

One hundred and sixty non-diabetic patients with cerebral ischemia of primary onset were enrolled in the study. The patients were divided into impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) group and normal glucose tolerance (NGT) group according to the oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT). Carotid atherosclerosis and carotid artery stenosis were examined with vascular Doppler ultrasonic detection. The incidence rates of carotid atherosclerosis in IGT group and NGT group were 87. 5% (70/80)and 63.8% (51/80)respectively (χ2= 12.240,P <0.001);the incidence rates of carotid stenosis in IGT group and NGT group were 63.8% (51/80) and 47. 5 % (38/80), respectively(χ2 =4. 279, P =0. 039);the degree of carotid artery stenosis in IGT group was higher than that in NGT group(χ2= 21.95, P < 0. 01). The results indicate that IGT may be related to atherosclerosis and stenosis of carotid artery in cerebral ischemic patients.

Multidrug resistance (MDR) limits the clinical application and efficacy of chemotherapy drugs. Thus, MDR is the big-gest obstacle to the success of chemotherapy. Complex and diverse MDR mechanisms exist, including the following:adenosine triphos-phate-binding cassette membrane transport protein family, anti-apoptotic or enhanced DNA repair, mutations in drug targets or metabol-ic enzymes, microRNA, and cancer stem cells. Autophagy can degrade organelles and proteins that have been damaged in the cyto-plasm through the formation of autolysosome and recycle metabolites. Maintaining intracellular homeostasis and a balanced internal en-vironment is highly significant. Recent studies found that autophagy is closely related to the pathophysiology of MDR. The interaction between autophagy and MDR and the possible molecular mechanisms underlying these phenomena are reviewed. This paper elucidates the occurrence of MDR in relation to autophagy in order to provide new information on chemotherapy MDR.

Objective:To observe lethal effect on liver cancer cells by the DCs transfected with recombinant plasmid pchIL -18-MAGE.Methods:Cultivate dendritic cells in vitro ,and recombinant plasmid pchIL-18-MAGE was constructed which was transfected into DCs.Expression of IL-18 and MAGE-1 on the transfected DCs were detected by RT-PCR and Western blot.The diversity of DCs phenotypes after transfect were analyzed by flow cytometry.Different killing effects to the target cells by lymphocytes which were stimulated by DC and those by non-transfected DC were detected.IFN-γin the cellular supernatant of the transfected DCs was inspected by ELISA.Results:pchIL-18-MAGE transfected DCs expressed higher level of CD 83,CD1a,CD86,CD80,HLA-DR,and expressed as a mature DC phenotype.pchIL-18-MAGE group′s killing activity was the highest ( P<0.05 ) .Conclusion: The DC vaccine pchlL-18-MAGE can induce better killing effect compared with other experimental groups.

Objective To explore the effect of CarboprostSuppositories retention on the treatment of puerpera with mazischesis, summarize the clinical experience of intervention.Methods 40 puerperas with mazischesis were given CarboprostSuppositories intervention, and were classified as the observation group;40 puerperas with mazischesis were given the routine intervention(normal saline and oxytocin), and were classified as the control group.All the study objects were from the second affiliated hospital of Wenzhou medical university from January 2016 to January 2017.Results The natural childbirth rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group;The tedori placenta was lower than that in the control group;The amount of bleeding in the observation group was less than that in the control group, and the third stage of labor was shorter than that in the control group.The differences in the above data between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Which CarboprostSuppositories is used on the treatment of mazischesis in pregnant women can shorten the third stage of labor, reduce the amount of bleeding, and promote natural childbirth,the adverse reaction is less.

Objective To investigate the effect of stellate ganglion block combined with morphine sustainedrelease tablets for controlling pain of advanced lung cancer.Methods 90 cases with advanced lung cancer were randomly divided into the observation group and control group with 45 cases in each group.The control group was givenmorphine sustained-release tablets,the observation group received combination therapy with stellate ganglion block and morphine sustained-release tablets.The analgesic effects,quality of life scores and adverse reactions of two groups were compared.Results The effective rate of observation group was 93.33 ％ (42/45),which was significantly higher than that of control group 77.78％ (35/45),the difference was statistically significant (x2 =4.54,P ＜ 0.05).The morphine consumption of observation group was significantly less than that of control group(t =9.11,P ＜ 0.05),duration of analgesia was significantly longer than that of control group (t =6.72,P ＜ 0.05).Quality of life score in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(Z =3.61,P ＜ 0.05).The incidence rate of adverse reactions was 17.78％ (8/45),which was significantly lower than that of the control group 46.67％ (21/45),the difference was statistically significant (x2 =4.54,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Stellate ganglion block combined with morphine sustained-release tablets for controlling pain of advanced lung cancer can significantly improve analgesia,reduce morphine consumption and adverse reactions,is worthy of clinical application.

Objective To analyze the characteristics of TCM syndromes of children abnormal sweating;To investigate the correlation between diseases and primary and secondary syndromes. Methods Through a multi-center epidemiology investigation, 400 cases were collected to statistically analyze the five TCM syndromes of children abnormal sweating, and characteristics of each syndrome were analyzed. Results In the 400 cases of children abnormal sweating, there were 129 cases (32.25%) of dysfunction of lung-wei pattern, 50 cases (12.50%) of nutrient qi and defensive qi discordance, 84 cases (21.00%) of qi and yin deficiency pattern, 57 cases (14.25%) of dampness heat forced steamed pattern, and 80 cases (20.00%) of qi and yang deficiency pattern. Spontaneous sweating and night sweating were found in the four patterns besides qi and yin deficiency pattern, and night sweating can be mainly found in qi and yin deficiency. Each type is consistent in the syndrome differentiation and cluster analysis. Conclusion Spontaneous sweating and night sweating, each has the certification of yin and yang. Spontaneous sweating can be caused by yin deficiency while night sweating can be caused by yang deficiency. Each pattern of children abnormal sweating has its own syndrome characteristic, which can provide the basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

Objective To investigate the relationship between glucokinase regulator protein ( GCKR) gene polymorphism rs780094 and hyperuricemia in Uygur in Xinjiang. Methods A case-control study including 1 026 patients with hyperuricemia and 1 030 normal subjects was conducted. All the subjects were genotyped for GCKR gene rs780094 by Sequenom MassARRAY system. The results of rs780094 genotype and allele frequency between hyperuricemia group and control group were compared. The associations of different genotypes of rs780094 with blood pressure, blood lipid, and blood glucose were analyzed. Logistic regression analysis was used to analyse the relationship between polymorphism of rs780094 and hyperuricemia in Uygur in Xinjiang. Results The distributions of three genotypes(G/G, A/G, A/A) and two allele frequency (G and A) in GCKR rs780094 revealed statistical difference ( P<0. 05 ) between hyperuricemia group and control group. A tendency toward association with hyperuricemia was observed under dominant model(OR=1. 295, 95%CI 1. 078~1. 554,P=0. 006) and recessive model(OR=1. 284, 95% CI 1. 024 ~1. 611,P=0. 030). The levels of systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and total cholesterol were lower in hyperuricemia group with GCKR gene rs780094 loci GG genotype than those with AA+AG genotype. After adjusting confounding factors which had significant difference in the single factor analysis, logistic regression analysis showed that rs780094 A/A and A/G might be risk factors of hyperuricemia in Uygur in Xinjiang (OR=1. 355,95% CI 1. 094 ~1. 679,P=0. 005). Conclusion The GCKR rs780094 is associated with hyperuricemia in Uygur in Xinjiang. The A/A and A/G genotype of the GCKR rs780094 may increase the risk of hyperuricemia.

Objective To explore the factors that affect the prognosis of extensive small cell lung cancer by analyzing the association between lab-oratory indicators before treatment of extensive small cell lung cancer patients and the initial evaluation results with disease progression and overall survival. Methods This study retrospectively analyzed 96 cases of hospitalized patients in the medical oncology department of The First Hospital of China Medical University from March 2008 to September 2014. Kaplan-Meier method and Cox proportional hazards models were adopted to ana-lyze the relevant factors affecting the prognosis of extensive small cell lung cancer. P<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results There was no obvious correlation between HB level before treatment with PFS of patients(P=0.179),but there was obvious significant correlation be-tween HB level and OS of patients(P=0.041). Our results showed that the TBIL level of patients before chemotherapy was significantly associated with the PFS(P=0.039)and OS(P=0.026)of patients. Conclusion HB and TBIL levels are the influencing factors that affect the prognosis and survival of patients with extensive small cell lung cancer.
