Objective:To investigate the diagnostic value of color Doppler flow imaging(CDFI) in the diagnosis of liver tumors. Methods: UE, CEUS, and CDFI were performed in 104 patients with liver cancer who were admitted to our hospital from January 2013 to December 2014, in order to analyze the diagnostic value of three methods for liver tumor compared with the pathological results. Results: The 115 masses of the group included 97 malignant masses(84.34%) and 18 benign masses(15.66%). The diagnostic accuracy of CDFI for benign and malignant liver tumors was 55.56% and 74.23%. There was no significant difference between UE and CDFI in the diagnosis of benign liver tumors and CEUS was higher than that of CDFI and UE in the diagnosis of benign and malignant liver tumors. There was no statistical difference in the diagnostic accuracy of CDFI combined with UE and CEUS(x2=2.20, P=0.138).Conclusion: CDFI is a basic method for the diagnosis of liver tumors. The CEUS or UE can be used to improve the accuracy of diagnosis for the liver which is not typical or small lesions.
2.Th17 cell and CD4 + CD25 + Treg in iathogenesis of asthma
International Journal of Pediatrics 2012;39(2):196-198,202
Many studies have suggested that pathogenesis of asthma could no longer be interpreted merely by “Th1/Th2 balance” theory.CD4 + CD25 + Treg and Th17 cells,as well as their cytokines such as IL-10,transforming growth factor-β,and IL-17,account for asthma.CD4 + CD25 + Treg and Th17 are functionally antagonistic to each other, and also go with each other during their differentiation.Therefore,immunity-unbalance of CD4 + CD25 + Treg and Th17 is one of the most important factors that triggers asthma.Glucocorticoid has been shown to down regulate IL-17 expression by retinoic acid receptors γt signaling pathway, and regulate differentiation and function of CD4 + CD25 + Treg by inducing expression of transcription factor Foxp3,all of these are immuno-mechanisms of glucocorticoid in asthma treatment.

OBJECTIVEThe purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of cryogenic treatment and age-hardening heat treatment on the corrosion behavior of a dental casting Ag-Pd alloy.
METHODSA low gold content dental casting alloy composed of Ag-Pd-Cu-Au was prepared for this study. Corrosion test was performed according to ISO 10271:2001 dental metallie-corrosion test methods. Experimental specimens were casted according to a standard dental lost-wax casting procedure, treated with solution by heating the specimens to 900 degrees C, and immediately quenched in ice water. The specimens were then divided into four groups and subjected to heat treatment, cryogenic treatment, and heat treatment combined with cryogenic treatment. The specimens after the solution treatment were taken as control. The metallographic structures of the specimens were observed. The electrochemical parameters and the quantity of non-precious metallic ions released were evaluated via electrochemical and static immersion tests.
RESULTSMetallographic observation revealed that all the treatments resulted in a change in the microstructure of the alloy. The treatments were effective in improving the electrochemical parameters, such as an increase in Eocp and Ecorr and a decrease in Icorr (P < 0.05). The amount of non-noble metal ions released showed no difference compared with the control group (P > 0.05).
CONCLUSIONAfter different treatments, the antierosion properties of the alloy satisfied the ISO requirements. Age-hardening heat treatment and cryogenic treatment improved the corrosion resistance of the alloy.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(20):3263-3268
BACKGROUND:Diabetes mel itus can give rise to bone metabolic disorders in patients, resulting in the occurrence of osteoporosis and low traumatic fractures. However, the pathogenesis mechanism remains unclear. OBJECTIVE:To review the current research progress in the bone metabolic disorders resulting from diabetes mel itus, and to provide theoretical basis of the prevention and treatment of diabetic osteopathy. METHODS:A computer-based online search was conducted in Pubmed database (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/) from January 2000 to December 2013. Articles focusing on diabetes mel itus regulating bone metabolism were col ected using the key words of“diabetes mel itus;bone”in English. High-quality relevant studies were included, while repetitions and unidirectional studies were excluded.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:A total of 6 979 articles were obtained initial y, and after screening procedures 58 literatures were selectively included in this review. Although type 1 and type 2 diabetes mel itus exert different effects on the bone mineral density, they ultimately result in osteoporosis and low traumatic fractures. It is widely believed that the pathogenesis may be that high glucose breaks the balance between bone formation and bone absorption, so that bone absorption is greater than bone formation. The number of the osteoclasts is increased, while the cytokines of promoting osteogenesis are restrained. As a consequence, those result in low bone mineral density, brittle bone and high incidence of fracture.
