1.Advances in the diagnosis and treatment of appendicitis in children: 12-year′s experience
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 1993;0(03):-
Objective To evaluate the diagnosis and treatment of children′s appendicitis. Methods Retrospective analysis of 2390 children patients with appendicitis undergoing appendectomy, and pathological classification was made. Results The simple type was in 237 cases (9.91%); purulent in 1798 (75.23%), among which 568 (31.59%) cases suffered perforation; Gangrenous in 212 (8.87%), with perforation in 159 (71.36%).During this period, there were 192 cases (7.4%) of appandiceal abscess. The perforation rate was 30.12%.That was 41.46% in children under 1-year of age, 44.96% in 1 to 4-year of age; 28.17% in 5 to 10 year of age; and 20.94% in over 10-year of age. Conclusion The incidence of postoperative pathology-proved simple type appendicitis is in inverse proportion to that of perforation. As a whole it reflects the strictness in which an individual case is indicated for a laparotomy. It is our believe that an incidence of 30% perforation is acceptable.
2.Osteopontin and lung cancer
Cancer Research and Clinic 2008;20(7):499-502
Osteopontin (OPN), a phospborylated and glycosylated protein,is a prominent matrices component of the extracellular matrix of mineralized tissues of bones and teeth, in which they can regulate the formation and growth of hydroxyapatite crystals and influence a variety of cell activities.Recent studies have reported that the expression of OPN is not only correlated with bone formation and bone resorption but also with tumor aggression and metastasis in several types of human cancer, and OPN is even considered to be an index for the diagnosis and prognosis of tumor. This article reviews OPN's role in lung cancer' s infiltration, metastasis and prognosis.
3.STAT3 and tumor therapeutic target
Cancer Research and Clinic 2009;21(11):789-792
STAT3, as a member of signal transducers and activators of transcription (STATs) family, which has been recognized as one of the common pathways in cancer cells. STAT3 has been found in many tumor cells that are critical to cell survival, cell proliferation, invasion, angiogenesis and immune evasion. Thus, STAT3 signaling pathway may be a potential therapeutic target for tumor metastasis.
4.Differentiation of embryonic stem cell into chondrocyte cell
Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(10):-
Embryonic stem cell possess multi-directional differentiation capacity and can differentiate into all sorts of cells of three germ layers,it has the widely use in the treatment of tissue repair.Recent study shows that, embryonic stem cells can differentiate into cartilage cells in the effect of cytokines,hormones,micro-environment etc.In the is review, the author explore several studies and review the effects of different factors to the differentiation of embryonic stem cell to chondrocyte.
5.The Antitumor Effects of Mice Peritoneal Macrophages Transferred IL-2 and IFN-Y Gene in vivo
Chinese Journal of Cancer Biotherapy 1994;0(01):-
The eukaryotic expression vector pREP-8-IL-2 or and pREP-8-IFN-? was injected i.p. into mice by calcium phosphate coprecipitation method and IL-2 gene or IFN-? gene was successfully transfected into peritoneal M?s whose expression products could enhance the cytotoxicity of M?s, which secrete some TNF, IL-1 and NO, activate the nonspecific immunity and inhibit the growth of tumor effectively. In particular, IL-2 gene in combination with IFN-? gene transfection were successfully transfected into peritoneal M?s whose high expression products not only significantly enhance the M?s cytotoxicity and made it secrete high level TNF, IL-1 and NO, but also activated the CTLs of spleen and initiated specific immunity and nonspecific immunity . This would produce synergic antitumor effects. The results showed that IL-2 and IFN-? gene transfection produced more antitumor effects than IL-2 or IFN-? gene transfection alone.
6.Role of STAT3 in tumor angiogenesis and radiation sensitivity
Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology 2015;(10):535-539
Signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) is an important member of the STAT family of signaling pro-teins. STAT3 is widely expressed in different types of cells and tissues and is involved in many physiological and pathological process-es, including cell growth, proliferation, apoptosis, and malignant transformation. Over recent years, increased attention has been given on the role of STAT3 in tumor angiogenesis and radiation sensitivity. Studies show that on the one hand, following activation, STAT3 promotes angiogenesis by directly regulating the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor and then causes radiation resistance. On the other hand, STAT3 indirectly promotes angiogenesis by activating hypoxia-inducible factor-1α(HIF-1α), thus producing radio-therapy tolerance. Moreover, STAT3 can directly or by HIF-1αindirectly regulate CyclinD1 expression, thus rapidly promoting cell pro-gression through G1 into the S phase of the cell cycle and enhancing cell proliferation. In addition to regulating the cell cycle, CyclinD1 plays a key role in radiation sensitivity. Results suggest that STAT3 plays a role in tumor angiogenesis and radiation resistance via di-rect and indirect mechanisms. In this review, we summarize recent research advances on the role of STAT3 in regulating tumor angio-genesis and radiation sensitivity.
7.Clinical features of comorbidity of migraine and epilepsy
Journal of Clinical Neurology 2001;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of comorbidity of migraine and epilepsy. Methods The clinical data of 67 patients with migraine were analyzed retrospectively. Results 6 cases appeared epilepsy, focal seizure 2 cases and generalized seizures 4 cases,in the 67 patients with migraine. The epileptiform waves were recorded in 57 cases by EEG,and the fulminated waves were also recorded in 6 patients with epilepsy.Treated by Sodium Valproate, migraine attacks and seizures were all controlled in the 6 cases and also EEG anastated well. Conclusions Comorbidity is existed in migraine and epilepsy. The curative effect is well by Sodium Valproate.

Chinese Journal of Prevention and Control of Chronic Diseases 2006;0(04):-
Objective To study the sleeping quality and correlative factors of key senior middle school students of Beijing. Methods With pittsburg sleeping quality index (PSQI) scale, 344 key senior middle school students participated and completed the questionnaire. Results Percentage of sleep disorder accounted for 24.4% in the senior middle school students;Sleeping time was shorter than 7 hours in total of 61% students. Compared with key class students, sleeping time was shorter(P

Chinese Medical Ethics 1996;0(01):-
The new rural cooperative medical system(NRCMS)has been promote quickly and successfully all over the rural areas in China, and has achieved a comprehensive coverage. However,in the process of the NRCMS emerged certain issues going against the principles of ethics. Therefore, this paper attempts to analyze current abnormal ethical issues and identify relevant countermeasures, aiming to promote the performance of the NRCMS.
