Objective: To prepare chicken egg yolk antibody(IgY) against Candida albicans and to study its biological properties in the interest of its further application.Methods: Ten 25 weeks old laying hens were immunized with Candida albicans.IgY was isolated from the yolks of eggs by the water dilution(WD) method.Its yield,purity,and molecular weight were measured by Bradford method and Tris-tricine gel electrophoresis,respectively.The antigenicity of IgY was determined with Western-blot method.The specific combination of IgY and Candida albicans was assayed with immunohistochemistry method.The activity of IgY was evaluated by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results: The yield and purity of IgY were 7.9 g/L and 91.5%,respectively.It had the same molecular weight and antigenicity in comparison with IgY of chicken serum and normal chicken IgY.It could specifically combine with Candida albicans.Its titer was 1:12 000.Conclusion:The production and purity of IgY were high.Its titer was good and did not decrease under a body temperature condition after 48 h.The IgY antibody had a combination capacity of specificity for Candida albicans in vitro.

Objective To optimize the extraction process of Zushima Gel Cream.Methods Setting the content of daphnetin as an investigating index, and the amount of solvent, soak time and the extraction time as investigating factors, the orthogonal experiment was used to optimize the extraction process.Results The best extraction process was as follows:adding 30 mL water to degreasing Zushima Gel Cream;soaking for half an hour;extracting one time for two hours. The average content of daphnetin was 9.83 mg/g.Conclusion The extraction process is stable, reliable, and energy-saving. The study provided experimental evidence for the preparation process of Zushima Gel Cream.

Introduced in the paper is the development and building of motor medical equipment in China,namely vehicle-mounted field hospitals,cabin hospitals,hospital ships,and rescue helicopters among others.It is pointed out that such development falls far from complete in the country,as evidenced in the poor development for airborne,and an integrated medical rescue system covering land, sea and air needs to be further enhanced in the future.

OBJECTIVE: To study the effects of Shengji Huayu Recipe (a traditional Chinese medicine compound recipe for resolving stagnation and promoting granulation) and its decomposed formulas (Huayu Recipe for resolving stagnation and Shengji Recipe for promoting granulation) on the synthesis of collagen types I and III in granulation tissue of rats in early wound healing. METHODS: Twenty-four male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats with full-thickness skin lesion were randomized into 4 groups: Shengji Huayu Recipe-treated group, Shengji Recipe-treated group, Huayu Recipe-treated group and untreated group. Collagen types I and III in granulation tissue of the rats were tested with immunohistochemical methods and image analysis. RESULTS: On the third day of wound healing, collagen I of the rats in both Shengji Huayu Recipe-treated group and Shengji Recipe-treated group was higher than that in the untreated group, and collagen I of the rats in Huayu Recipe-treated group was lower than that in the untreated group (P<0.05). Collagen III of the rats in the three treated groups were lower than that in the untreated group (P<0.05). On the seventh day of wound healing, Collagen I of the rats in both Shengji Huayu Recipe-treated group and Shengji Recipe-treated group was higher than that in the untreated group (P<0.05), and collagen III of the rats in both Shengji Recipe-treated group and Huayu Recipe-treated group was higher than that in the untreated group (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: Resolving stagnation and promoting granulation therapy can promote the wound healing in rats.

Objective To expand the NKT cells in vitro and to determine the cytokine releasing of NKT cells during proliferation.Methods Several kind of methods were established to expand TCRV ?24 +/TCRV ?11 + NKT cells from PBMC or purified T lymphocyte.The levels of IL 4,IFN ?and TNF ? of NKT cells were determined by flow cytometry.Results After 19 days' expansion,the largest number of NKT cells increased (23.0?16.7)?10 3 times and the largest ratio of NKT cells to total T lymphocyte was (25.5?7.2)%.The ratio of TCRV ?11 + NKT cells that secreted IL 4,IFN ?and TNF ? was higher than the TCRV?11 T lymphocytes.Conclusion TCRV ?24 +/TCRV ?11 + NKT cells can be expanded in vitro with ? Galcer presented by CD 1d molecule.The NKT cells can also be expanded from PBMC because the monocyte lineage cells within PBMC can express CD 1d molecule and present specific glycolipids like ? Galcer to them.

Objective:To investigate microRNA-29b ( miR-29b) expression in cerebral cortex , spinal cord, fore limb muscle, and serum of SOD1-G93A amyotrophic lateral sclerosis ( ALS) mice, and to identify the biomarker and to assess diagnostic values for ALS .Methods:Cerebral cortex , spinal cord , fore limb muscle and serum from 16 SOD1-G93 A ALS mice and 16 wild-type mice were taken and then microRNA extracted , detecting the expression of miR-29 b by real-time quantitative polymerase chain re-action ( RT-qPCR ) .The diagnostic performance of miR-29b for ALS was estimated by the receiver operating characteristic ( ROC ) curve . Results: The results from the validation indicated that the differences in miR-29b between the cerebral cortex of SOD1-G93A ALS and the healthy control subjects were statistically significant (P=0.001).Meanwhile, the expressions 8, 12, and 16 weeks later were higher than those of the controls ( ALS vs.Control: 8 weeks, P=0.044; 12 weeks, P=0.018; 16 weeks, P=0.045).When the relative expression level of miR-29b was used to diagnose ALS in SOD1-G93A ALS mice, the area under the ROC (area under the curve, AUC) was 0.885, if the diagnostic threshold was set at 0.185 6, the sensitivity and specificity were 92.9%and 71.4%.Conclusion:MiR-29 b may act as medical monitoring indices of ALS in early time .

Objective:The pathogenesis of endometriosis(EMT)was explored by detecting the relationship of progesterone receptors(PR)and apoptosis-associated factors with EMT.Methods:Immunohistochemical imaging analysis was used to quantify the expression of PR,Bcl-2 and Bax in ectopic and eutopic endometrium in patients with EMT.Results:Expressions of PR and Bcl-2 in eutopic endometrium are higher than those in ectopic endometrium(P<0.05).Expression of Bax in ectopic endometrium is higher than that in eutopic endometrium(P<0.05).There is no statistical difference of PR,Bcl-2 and Bax expression between proliferative and secretary endometrium.Conclusions:Either in proliferative or secretary phase,expressions of PR in eutopic endometrium are higher than those in ectopic endometrium,thus eutopic endometrium is more liable to proliferate in low level continuously,migrate and implant.Expressions of Bcl-2 and Bax in eutopic and ectopic endometrium have no relationship with endometrium cycling.The apoptosis of ectopic endometrium is weakened and its proliferative power is continuously enhanced.

Objective To investigate the action and the mechanisms of nerve growth factor(NGF) and its receptor(p75、TrkA) on the pathological alterations of the enteric nervous syst em in the rats cathartic colon. Methods The experimental animal model of cathartic colon was established by using rhubar b and phenolphthalein. Thirty Sprague Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided int o the control group(10 rats) and cathartic colon model groups(10 rats with rhuba r b group; 10 rats with phenolphthalein group). The model group rats were fed with stimulant laxatives rhubarb and phenolphthalein respectively, and the control g roup rats were fed with distilled water. The rats were killed and the colon samp les were taken after 3 months. The expressions of the mRNA of NGF, p75 and TrkA in the colonic tissues were detected by semi-quantitive reverse transcription- polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) technique. Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of four different methods of laparoscopic hysterectomy: laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy(LSH),classic intrafascial supracervical hysterectomy(CISH),laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomy(LAVH),and total laparoscopic hysterectomy(TLH). Methods A retrospective analysis was carried out on 740 cases of laparoscopic hysterectomy in this hospital from January 1999 to December 2004 in respect of operating time,intraoperative blood loss,weight of removed uterus,postoperative recovery,time to normal sexual life,sexual satisfaction,and incidence of complications. Results The operations were accomplished under laparoscope in all the 740 cases.The operating time of LSH,CISH,TLH,and LAVH were 95.3?32.4 min,84.5?31.7 min,105.3?34.5 min,and 169.4?37.4 min,respectively.The time to normal sexual life of LSH,CISH,TLH,and LAVH were 30?5 d,50?9 d,35?7 d,and 54?11 d,respectively.The incidences of complications of LSH,CISH,TLH,and LAVH were 1.7%(2/120),1.3%(4/310),2.8%(7/250),and 1.7%(1/60),respectively. Conclusions Laparoscopic hysterectomy is safe and reliable.Of four methods of laparoscopic hysterectomy,each has its advantages and disadvantages,and method selection should be based on patient's own conditions.
