Objective To establish HPLC method for the determination of the content of caffeic acid in Chanhou Tieshijin. Methods The determination was performed on HangBang C18 column (200 mm?4.6 mm, 5 ?m). The mobile phase was methanol-buffer phosphate (23∶77) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The UV detection wavelength was set at 323 nm and the sample size was 10 ?L. Results The linear range of caffeic acid was 0.052～0.26 ?g (r=0.999 8), with average recovery rate of 97.44% (RSD=0.78%). Conclusion The established method is simple, rapid and accurate, and suitable for the quality control of Chanhou Tieshijin.

Digestive tract reconstruction is the main part of gastrointestinal surgery. With the rapid development of technology and widely application in stapling device, more and more surgeons are using stapled anastomosis. Stapled anastomosis is associated with shorter operating time and hospital stay than hand-sewn anastomosis. However, it is not easy to select suitable ones from various staplers and use them correctly. Choice and reasonable application of staplers for anastomosis in gastrointestinal surgery are summarized and evaluated in this article.

Point-of-care testing ( POCT ) is a new area in the laboratory medicine.This article discusses the current situation in regulations , industry management , quality management , personnel management and training and other aspects of POCT in America and China.Then this article points out the challenges of POCT development in China , and further puts forward advanced measures and suggestions for improving POCT management system in China.

Objective To explore the relationship between the dynamic change of plasma tissue-type plasminogen activator(t-PA)and its inhibitor-1(PAI-1)levels and infarct size in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods There were 100 patients with acute cerebral infarction,22 cases of large area infarction,36 cases of small area infarction,42 cases of lacunar infarction.The levels of plasma t-PA or PAI-1 in 24 h,2 d,14 d,21 d after cerebral infarction were detected by chromogenic substrate method,compared with normal control and the level of blood plasma t-PA or PAI-1 in patients with different size of cerebral infarction.Results Compared with normal control,levels of plasma t-PA at 24 h,2 d,14 d after acute cerebral infarction decreased significantly,and plasma PAI-1 level increased significantly(all P0.05).The plasma t-PA level in patients with large size of infarction was lower obviously than that in patients with small area infarction and lacunar infarction,small size of infarction was lower than that in lacunar infarction(all P0.05).Conclusion The plasma t-PA level decreased and PAI level increased in patients with acute cerebral infarction.The the size of infarction area is larger,the plasma t-PA level is lower,but there is no relationship between the plasma PAI-1 level and infarction area.

OBJECTIVE To study the distribution of pathogens and the extent of drug resistance in surgical incision infection,and offer the first-hand information to the clinical preventive and therapeutic countermeasures.METHODS Totally 309 in-hospital patients were investigated retrospectively.RESULTS A total of 210 pathogens strains were cultured from the secretion of surgical incision infection.The dominating microorganisms were Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus,Klebsiella pneumoniae and Pseudomonas aeruginoa.Among them,54 strains of ESBLs,12 strains of anti-IPM bacteria,15 strains of MRSA and 8 strains of MRCNS producing bacteria were detected.The result showed,vancomycin and imipenem still had better activities to the bacteria.CONCLUSIONS Surgical incision infection should be attached importance to.It is time to take some effective measures to supervise and control bacterial resistance.

ObjectiveTo observe the effects of free fatty aids (FFAs) on the apoptosis and migration of human breast cancer cells ( MDA-MB-231 ).MethodsBreast cancer cells were exposed to oleic acid (OA) and palmitic acid (PA) with different concentrations (50,200,and 500 umol/L).Quantity RT-PCR was conducted to detect mRNA expression of PTEN,and Western blot to detect protein expression of PTEN and Bcl-2.Cell apoptosis was measured with TUNEL method,and migration measured with transwell method.ResultsThe mRNA and protein expressions of PTEN in MDA-MB-231 cells were down-regulated after OA stimulation,but up-regulated after PA stimulation ( all P ＜ 0.05 ).The protein expression of Bcl-2 increased after OA stimulation and decreased after PA stimulation ( both P ＜ 0.05 ).PA increased the apoptosis,and both OA and PA enhanced the invasion of MDA-MB-231 cells.ConclusionsPA may promote apoptosis of MDA-MB-231 cells through changing the expression of the tumor suppressor PTEN,but also increases the invasion of the cancer cells.The invasion of cancer cells could be enhanced by OA stimulation as well.

This paper summarizes the experiences of nursing care for children patients with Pavlik harness in the treatment of developmental hip dysplasia. Nurses attended to the children immediately after the diagnosis was identified. Cooperating with orthopedic surgeon,nursing care mainly focused on family health education,follow-up and guidance on how to prevent the leg from the position of over abduction,as well as guidance on daily life,skin care and positions being holded. As a result,43 children achieved stable reposition with Pavlik harness while 4 cases changed to manipulation reposition integrated with casting whose femoral head had not reduced to the acetabulum. No femoral head necrosis and limb contracture happened except 3 cases suffered from slight skin damage.

Purpose:To study the clinical characteristics and therapy of acquired fungemia in acute leukemia patients. Methods:Retrospective analysis of the clinical characteristics and therapy of 34 acquired fungemia patients from 127 acute leukemia patients was done. Results:52 fungus strains were isolated from the blood culture of 34 acquired fungemia patients. Monilia was the main pathogen (92.4%). 24 fungemia patients also had bacteremia and the percentage was (70.6%). The overall mortality rate was 55.7% .The mortality rate of fungemia and fungemia together with bacteremia were (23.5%) and 76.4% respectively. The effective rates were 70.8% for diflucan treated group, 66.7% for the liposome treated group, and 75% for the combined treatment group respectively. Conclusions:Fungus infection has been one of the main causes of death in acute leukemia patients. So timely monitoring of the fungus infection and appropriate antifungal therapy have become the principle management to reduce the incidence rate and mortality rate of fungemia in acute leukemia patients. Diflucan and liposome are still effective antifungal drugs.

Objective To introduce a poisoning accident caused by clearing up the disuced bloat pool of green plums. Methods In a certain area in Fujian happened a poisoning accident in which many people poisoned. The site of monitoring was carried out immediately. Results The concentrations of hydrocyanic acid, acetonitrile, methane, and carbon dioxide were very high in the air of the pool. Conclusion The main cause of the poisoning was that the cyanogenic glycosides contained in the nucleolus of the green plums. After broken down, the cyanide was released, and then the cyanide synergistic effect with the asphyxiating gas such as methane and carbon dioxide developed also. Treated the sediment and waste water with bleaching powder and lime, cyanide had been eliminated efficiently.

Objective:This paper intends to provide reference for consummation of biosimilar registration poli-cies in China. Methods:This paper evaluates the performance of Japanese registration regulation policies on biosimi-lars by analyzing the procedure and reviewing the features of biosimilars. Results and Conclusions:According to the findings of the present investigation, the availability and affordability of biosimilars have been improved, and the bio-medicine industry has achieved great development. On the other hand, it's recommended that the guideline for the de-velopment and evaluation of biosimilars should be amended on the principle of appropriate simplification, which means to simplify the research and development procedure and exempt partial application dossier. Besides, the regis-tration procedures should be adopted continuously to ensure the stability of biosimilars' R&D and registration.
