1.S100B and acute ischemic cerebral injury
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2011;19(6):466-470
S100B is a class of acid calcium-binding protein. It mainly exists in neuroglial cells in the central nervous system, and it is one of the signs of astrocyte activation. S100B may reflect the function of neuroglial cells and regulate the complex interactions between the neurons and neuroglial cells. Studies in recent years have demonstrated that S100B protein is involved in the pathological processes of acute ischemic brain injury. Serum S100B protein can be used as an important marker for identifying the severity of cerebral infarction, progress and outcome.
2.Influences of basic fibroblast growth factor and epidermal growth factor on the proliferation and differentiation of neural stem cells
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(07):-
OBJECTIVE: How to promote the generation of neural stem cells (NSCs) and induce them differentiate into the goal cell type has been the focus of neuroscience. In this article, we review the adjustment of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) and epidermal growth factor (EGF) to the proliferation and differentiation of NSCs. DATA SOURCES: A computer-based online search of Medline database was undertaken to identify the related articles published in English from January 1998 to March 2006 by using the keywords of "bFGF, EGF, nerve stem cells". At the same time, Chinese relevant articles were searched in China National Knowledge Infrastruction published between January 2000 and March 2006 with the same keywords in Chinese. STUDY SELECTION: The data were selected firstly to look over the citations of every literature. Inclusive criteria: Articles related to the effect of bFGF and EGF on the proliferation and differentiation of NSCs. Exclusive criteria: Duplicate research or Meta analysis. DATA EXTRACTION: A total of 78 related articles were collected, of which 32 accorded with the inclusive criteria and 46 with duplicate or old contents literatures were eliminated. Among the 32 literatures, 8 involved in the research status of NSCs, 10 about the effect of bFGF on the proliferation and differentiation of NSCs and the mechanism, 4 involved in the effect of EGF on the proliferation and differentiation of NSCs and the mechanism, respectively, 8 related to the effect of bFGF and EGF together, and 5 related to the comparison of the effect of bFGF and EGF. DATA SYNTHESIS: ①NSCs are self-renewed, and can differentiate into different stem cells and mature tissue cells in different microenvironment. Many cytokines in the microenvironment play essential roles in the differentiation direction of NSCs. ②bFGF has strong improvement effect on the proliferation of NSCs and can activate the potential regeneration capacity of neuronal precursor cell in distinct areas of central nervous system, proliferation and differentiation of cells present bFGF concentration dependent. ③EGF can improve the growth of NSCs, and promote them differentiate into neuron and glial cells; its effect of facilitating cell proliferation also presents concentration dependent. ④To elevate the efficacy of proliferation and differentiation of NSCs, allied application of bFGF and EGF is usual in NSCs culture. ⑤There is not a unified cognition to the effect difference of bFGF and EGF. CONCLUSION: bFGF and EGF have powerful effect to improve the proliferation and differentiation of NSCs; therefore, both of them are important neural somatomedin. Moreover, their effects present concentration dependent.

0.05).No sign of aseptic loosening or change in implant position was noted.[Conclusion]This short-term study showed that bipolar femoral head arthroplasty seems to be a suitable alternative for primary treatment of displaced femoral neck fractures in patients over 80 years.More attention should be paid to coexisting medical illness(e.g.diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and ischaemic heart disease)and prevention of complications.

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(23):-
[Objective] To evaluate the early effect of posterior dynamic lumbar stabilization in lumbar degenerative disease.[Methods]The clinical outcomes of 31 patients with lumbar degenerative disease treated by posterior decompression with Wallis posterior dynamic lumbar stabilization implant or combined with posterior lumbar fusion were retrospectively studied, and assessed with visual analogue scale(VAS)and spinal operative standard of Chinese Medical Association. The early effect and complications associated with Wallis posterior dynamic lumbar stabilization were recorded.[Results]The operative procedure of Wallis posterior dynamic lumbar stabilization implant was easy and less invasive. The VAS scores were 7.9?2.0,2.6?1.2 and 1.7?0.8 at one day preoperatively, two week postoperatively and final follow-up,respectively.The good to excellent result was 94.4% at the lastest follow-up.No compliction related with Wallis posterior dynamic lumbar stabilization was found.[Conclusion]It is easy and safe to use Wallis posterior dynamic lumbar stabilization in treatment of degenerative lumbar disease, and the early effect is good. The Wallis system provides an alternative for treatment of lumbar degenerative disease.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2009;25(20):13-15
Objective To explore the eorrelafion factors of health promotion lifestyle of the elderly los-ing their land and sea estate. Methods Using the health value scale, health promotion lifestyle profile and the general conditions scale to investigate the health value, health promotion lifestyle and general conditions of 85 old people losing their land and sea estate in Dalian development area. Results There was no correlation between health value and health promotion lifestyle of the eldly, age, education degree, number of children and previous employment were rehted with the health promotion lifestyle. Conclusions There was distance be-tween their thought and actual health behavior of the elderly, community management personnels and med-ical workers should strengthen the concrete intervention in lifestyle, not simply relying on propaganda of the importance of health.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2015;(36):5892-5897
BACKGROUND:Among various seed cel s, synovial mesenchymal stem cel s have unique advantages in the repair of articular cartilage injury. OBJECTIVE:To review the progress of synovial mesenchymal stem cel s and its intra-articular injection in the treatment of articular cartilage injury. METHODS:The first author searched PubMed and CNKI by computer to retrieve articles published from January 2004 to December 2004 using the keywords of“synovial mesenchymal stem cel s;intra-articular injection;cartilage repair”in English and Chinese, respectively. Final y, 57 articles were included in result analysis. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:It is easy to isolate and culture synovial mesenchymal stem cel s, which has great advantages in cartilage repair. What’s more, intra-articular injection therapy for articular cartilage injury is feasible and safe. Intra-articular injection of synovial mesenchymal stem cel s is a very promising treatment for cartilage damage, but there are stil many problems to be solved in the future.
