Liver transplantation,the most effective therapeutic way to the treatment of end-stage hepatopathy,has been widely used in clinical practice,but the complication,ischemic type biliary lesions has been considered the crucial factor influencing the long-term survival and quality of life of patient.In this article,we review the mechanism and the progressions of biliary lesions induced by liver I/R in recent years.

OBJECTIVE:To promote the work and socialization of out-patient pharmacy in special hospital.METHODS:Using the methods of order of sum of money and frequency analysis,consumption structure and sale sum of drugs and frequency of drugs used in this hospital in 1999～2000 were analyzed.RESULTS:Anti-infectives,drugs for special clinic and hormonal preparations were the commonly-used drugs,which indicated that most patients suffered from external genital organ infections The consumption of hormonal preparations increased obviously,which implied that the popularization of hormone replacement therapy and gradual maturity of subsidiary fertility technicology in this hospital.CONCLUSION:The analysis shows the characteristics of drug-use in obstetrics and gynecology hospital.

Objective To evaluate the serum histamine-releasing activity of patients with chronic urticaria and explore the pathogenesis of chronic urticaria. Methods Sixty-two chronic urticaria patients were studied by using in vivo autologous serum skin test (ASST) and in vitro histamine release assay of human cutaneous mast cells incubated with the patient′s sera. Results Twenty-four out of 62 patients showed a wheal response to autologous serum (38.71%). AIM: To simutaneously determinate the four components of dipyridamole, quercetin,kaempferol and isorhamnetin in Ginkgo-Leaf-Extract Dipyridamole Injection by the reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatographic (RP-HPLC). METHODS: Ginkgo-Leaf-Extract Dipyridamole Injection was determined by RP-HPLC on Scienhome Kromasil C_ 18 (250 mm? 4.6 mm, 5 ?m) column. The mobile phase consisted of methanol and 0.4% phosphoric acid solution (55∶ 45, v/v), the flow rate of 0.80 mL/min and UV detection wavelength at 360 nm were set to determine the contents of the four components. RESULTS: There were good linear relationships between peak area and concentration of the four components, and the calibration curves were linear in the ranges of 21.7 -261.0 ?g/mL for dipyridamole, 8.0 -96.0 ?g/mL for quercetin, 7.75 -93.0 ?g/mL for kaempferol, 5.75 -69.0 ?g/mL for isorhamnetin. The precisions for dipyridamole, quercetin, kaempferol and isorhamnetin were 1.16% , 1.35% , 1.21% and 1.58% , respectively. The average recoveries were 100.3% , 100.0% , 99.86% and 99.80% , respectively. CONCLUSION: The four components of the dipyridamole, quercetin, kaempferol and isorhamnetin in Ginkgo-Left-Extract Dipyridamole Injection are determined at the same time, and the method is simple, sensitive and accurate.

Objective To study the expressions of IGF-Ⅰ and TGF-?1 in lung tissue of rats with pulmonary fibrosis.Methods Sixty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into two groups: control group(n=20) and experimental group(n=40),and poured respectively by saline and bleomycin solutions,and killed on the 7th,14th,21th,28th day.Immunohistochemistry method was used to analyze the expressions of IGF-Ⅰ and TGF-?1 in lung tissue.Results After 4 weeks induction by bleomycin solutions,the lung tissue was obtained and stained by HE,the pathological changes were in accordance with pulmonary fibrosis.Pulmonary interstitial fibers were found by VG staining.So lung fibrosis models induced by bleomycin were set up successfully.The expressions of IGF-Ⅰ and TGF-?1 were increased during the progression of pulmonary fibrosis.Excellent differences of percentage of positive cells and expression level of IGF-Ⅰ and TGF-?1 were found between control group and experimental group(P

Objective To investigate the effect of drugs in combination with rehabilitative training on motor function and the expression of survivin in the ischemic penumbra after focal cerebral ischemia.Methods One hundred and twenty male,adult,Sprague-Dawley rats were subjected to left middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO)by suturing.Ninety-six of them were then randomly divided into a control group,a drug group,a rehabilitative trainiug group,and a drugs in combination with rehabilitative training group,with 24 in each.For three days the rats in the control group received no treatment,while those in the drug group received 500 mg/kg of citicoline daily,those in the rehabilitative training group received motor training including balancing,grasping,rotating and walking exercises,aud those in the drug and rehabilitative training group received both citicoline and the motor training.Behavioral tests were administered to all groups,and immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of survivin in the ischemic penumbra.Results Average behavior scores in the drug group and the control group were not significantly different at day 7,14 or 21 after the MCAO.Average behavior scores in the rehabilitative training and drug in combination with rehabilitative training groups were significantly superior to those of the control and drug groups at day 14 and 21.At those time points the average scores in the drug in combination with rehabilitative training group were also significantly better than those of the rehabilitation training group.Compared with control group,at the 7th,14th and 21st day after MCAO,expression of survivin in the other three groups had increased significantly.Expression of survivin in the group where drug treatment was combined with rehabilitative training was significantly greater than in the drug and rehabilitative training groups.Conclusions Citicoline in combination with rehabilitative training can improve the recovery of motor function in rats significantly better than the other approaches.This might be partially attributed to the up-regulation of survivin expression in the peri-ischemic cortex.

Objective To explore the causes and treatment of difficulty of urination after suprapubic prostatectomy. Methods 56 cases with difficulty of urination after suprapubic prostatectomy were reviewed.The causes of difficulty of urination were bladder outlet stricture,urethral stricture,relapse of BPH and other nonsurgical causes. Results 48 cases were surgically managed,and the success rate was 94%.The follow up time was 2～84 months with a mean of 38 months,all of them urinate normally except in 3 suprapubic cystostomy has been mandatory. Conclusions Correct presurgical diagnosis,adequate surgical treatment and postsurgical management are key points in preventing postsurgical difficulty of urination.

Objective To explore the management of T 1G 3 transitional cell carcinoma of urinary bladder. Methods 67 cases of T 1G 3 transitional cell carcinoma,average age of 63,were treated with TURBt.Followed by intravesical bacillus Calmette-Guerin instillation in 59 cases and mitomycin C instillation in other 8 cases. Results Within median 47 (range 12～78) months follow-up,28 cases had recurrence.20 cases had tumors progressed to muscle invasion(T 2 or higher).16 cases had received total cystectomy and 4 cases had long-distance metastasis. 9 cases died from the tumor. Conclusions Patients who have T 1G 3 transitional cell carcinoma initially should be treated by TURBt and intravesical BCG instillation and followed rigorously.When the tumor recurs and progresses into muscle invasion,total cystectomy is preferred.
