Objective To explore CT features of ectopic pancreas in the gastrointestinal tract, and to compare and analyze with the pathological findings. Methods The clinical data of 20 cases with ectopic pancreas in gastrointestinal tract proved by surgery pathology or endoscopic biopsy were analyzed retrospectively, and the characteristics were summarized. Results Ectopic pancreas in gastrointestinal tract-20 single lesions,4 cases at lesser curvature of gastric body,7 cases at greater curvature of gastric antrum,6 cases at lesser curvature of gastric antrum,1 case at gastric angle and 2 cases at duodenum. The longest diameter of ectopic pancreas was from 0.8 to 3.5 cm,while the shortest one was from 0.6 to 2.5 cm.The axis of the lesions was parallel to the wall of the gastrointestinal tract. For 1 8 ectopic pancreas in gastrointestinal tract,1 6 were ovoid or round in shape, and the other 2 were slight lobulated.2 lesions in duodenum were ovoid in shape.1 2 lesions'margins were well-defined and ill-defined in other 8.Plain CT showed the ectopic pancreas with homogeneous density,1 8 lesions with endoluminal growth and exophytic growth of other 2 cases. The cystic change was also found in 2 cases.Enhanced CT showed 2 lesions with significant homogeneous enhancement, mainly composed of pancreatic acini in pathology;14 with medium enhancement close to the normal pancreas, composed by pancreatic acini, islet and ducts, and 2 with slight enhancement, composed with mature differentiated mucous glands with ducts. Two lesions'center cystic change areas show no enhancement result. Conclusion The CT features, such as direction of its organic axis, endoluminal growth and enhancement patterns have its useful characteristics.Different enhanced patterns of ectopic pancreas in gastrointestinal tract are related with the pathologic change.

OBJECTIVE: To study the use of mobile phone sports software by the staffs of Centers for Disease Control( CDC)and its impact on their health. METHODS: Using cluster random sampling method,291 staff members of CDC in 7 prefecture-level cities in Hunan Province were selected as research subjects. The self-designed questionnaire was used to investigate the use of mobile phone sports software, and the Sub-Health Scale was used to investigate their health status. The impact of mobile phone sports software on their health was analyzed. RESULTS: The usage rate of mobile phone sports software was 28. 5%(83/291). The utilization rate of mobile phone sports software in postgraduate staffs was higher than that of undergraduates, college graduates and those with less than bachelor's degree( P < 0. 01). The usage rate of mobile exercise software of the CDC staff whose BMI was 18. 5 ~ kg/m~2 was lower than those whose BMI was 24. 0 ~ or 28. 0 ~kg/m~2(P < 0. 001). The sub-health incidence rate in those who used mobile sports software was lower than those who did not( P < 0. 05). The incidences of feeling fatigue, dizziness, lack of attention, upset, more dream, insomnia, poor memory in CDC staffs who used mobile phone sports software were lower than those who did not( P < 0. 05). CONCLUSION: The use of mobile phone sports software has positive effect on health promotion in CDC staffs.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of 3D computed tomography bronchial bronchography and angiography (3D-CTBA) and guidance of thoracoscopic anatomic pulmonary segmentectomy by Mimics software system. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on patients who underwent thoracoscopic segmentectomy in the Department of Thoracic Surgery of Affiliated People's Hospital of Jiangsu University from June 2020 to December 2022. The patients who underwent preoperative 3D-CTBA using Materiaise's interactive medical image control system (Mimics) were selected as an observation group, and the patients who did not receive 3D-CTBA were selected as a control group. The relevant clinical indicators were compared between the two groups. Results A total of 59 patients were included, including 29 males and 30 females, aged 25-79 years. There were 37 patients in the observation group, and 22 patients in the control group. The operation time (163.0±48.7 min vs. 188.8±43.0 min, P=0.044), intraoperative blood loss [10.0 (10.0, 20.0) mL vs. 20.0 (20.0, 35.0) mL, P<0.001], and preoperative puncture localization rate (5.4% vs. 31.8%, P=0.019) in the observation group were better than those in the control group. There was no statistically significant difference in the thoracic tube placement time, thoracic fluid drainage volume, number of intraoperative closure nail bin, postoperative hospital stay, or postoperative air leakage incidence (P>0.05) between the two groups. Conclusion For patients who need to undergo anatomical pulmonary segmentectomy, using Mimics software to produce 3D-CTBA before surgery can help accurately identify pulmonary arteriovenous anatomy, reduce surgical time and intraoperative blood loss, help to determine the location of nodules and reduce invasive localization before surgery, and alleviate patients' pain, which is worthy of clinical promotion.

Objective To explore dendritic cells (DCs)-mediated antigen presentation for radiation-injured cells by using the in vitro cell co-culture technology to simulate the in vivo microenvironment of the lung tissue. Methods 60Co γ-irradiated mouse lung epithelial cells (MLE-12) were cultured with bone marrow-derived DCs and/or splenic T lymphocytes for 48 hours. Flow cytometry was used to measure the expression levels of costimulatory molecules (CD80/86) and antigenic peptide recognition complexes (the major histocompatibility complex [MHC] class Ⅰ/Ⅱ) on DCs and T cell activation markers (CD69/28/152) as well as the numbers of CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. Results 60Co γ irradiation significantly increased the apoptosis rate of MLE-12 cells in a dose-dependent manner, and significantly stimulated the expression of CD80/86 and MHC Ⅱ on DCs, without direct activation of T cells. After γ (6 Gy)-irradiated MLE-12 cells were co-cultured with DCs and T lymphocytes for 48 h, there were significant increases in the expression of CD69 and CD28 on T cells, the numbers of CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, and the expression of CD86 and MHC I on DCs, as compared with the control groups. Conclusion Radiation-injured cells can stimulate antigen presentation by DCs and activate T cells.

Objective To prepare 4-sulfonylcalix[6]arene-modified cotton fibers for adsorption and removal of uranium based on the specific complexation of calix[6]arene with uranium (VI). Methods Chemical grafting was used for the modification of cotton, which reacted with α-bromoisobutyryl bromide, glycidyl methacrylate, and 4-sulfonylcalix[6]arene. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) were used to characterize the structure of 4-sulfonylcalix[6]arene-modified cotton (Cotton S-C[6]a). A Franz diffusion cell was used to simulate uranium-contaminated skin. Laser fluorimetry was used to determine the uranium content. Results SEM, XPS, and FTIR showed that cotton fibers were successfully grafted with 4-sulfonylcalix[6]arene. The optimal conditions of Cotton S-C[6]a for the adsorption of uranium (VI) was pH 4.0, duration of 20 min, and 20 mg of adsorbent. The adsorption process fitted well with pseudo-secondary-order kinetics. The uranium removal efficiency of Cotton S-C[6]a was up to 78.46% in aqueous solution and 81.72% on skin. Conclusion The synthesized Cotton S-C[6]a is highly efficient in the removal of uranium (VI) in solution and on contaminated skin.
