Objective To study the relationship between helicobacter pylori(Hp) infection and iron deficiency anemia(IDA) in children. Methods The observation group contained 26 cases and control group 22 cases.Seroferroprotein(SF) and blood routine were detected. Results There was statistically significant difference in both groups on the SF,hemoglobin, red blood cellcount, mean corpuscular volume and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (P0.05). Conclusion Hp infection may be related to IDA in children.
3. Statistical consideration in the design of COVID-19 clinical trials in emergency
Chinese Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics 2020;25(2):121-125
The outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) led to the first-level response to major public health emergencies in China. To explore the therapy of COVID-19, hundreds of clinical studies were conducted. For major public health emergencies, it is important to find out the effective drug and therapeutic regimen as soon as possible for the control of disease, which raises the claim of timeliness to the trials conducted in emergency, especially to the registered clinical trials. This paper discusses the choice of clinical endpoint and related questions in the design of clinical trials in emergency from the statistical perspective.

Medical Journal of Peking Union Medical College Hospital 2024;15(1):42-44
At present, all countries and regions providing palliative care service regard living wills and similar documents expressing personal wishes as the legal premise for carrying out this medical service. Defining the population receiving palliative care involves not only ethics or professional skills, but also constant revisions and changes with the development of economy and civilization. Meanwhile, the concept and promotion methods of living wills have also undergone rounds of updates. The nature of hospice and palliative care is respect for individuals, and it is the product of re-understanding the nature of life in the era of technological expansion. As a social organization promoting the concept of living will and death with dignity, we earnestly and confidently expect that hospice and palliative care become a basic right enjoyed by everyone in the near future.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effect of stretch on sarco(endo)plasmic reticulum Ca2+-Mg2+ ATPases activity and mRNA level and study the remodeling reaction of muscle in a variety of mechanical environments.
METHODSMyoblast from maxillofacial skeletal muscle of one-week-old male Sprague-Dawley rat was cultured and stretched cyclicly using a four-point bend device. Inorganic Phosphorus test was used to compare the activity of Ca2+-Mg2+ ATPases of myoblast before and after stretch. RT-PCR was also used to observe the Ca2+-Mg2+ ATPases mRNA level.
RESULTSThe activity of Ca2+-Mg2+ ATPases of myoblast down regulated significantly in 4 hours. During the period of 8 hours to 24 hours, up-regulation followed then returned to control level at the 48 hour point. RT-PCR showed that Ca2+-Mg2+ ATPases mRNA level were elevated by stretch, particularly at 2 hour and 48 hour point.
CONCLUSIONThe results suggested a transcriptional control of Ca2+-Mg2+ ATPases activity was involved in the muscle remodeling process induced by stretch.

7.Thinking on dose-effect relationship of Chinese herbal compounds in clinical studies.
Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2011;31(6):832-836
Dose-effect relationship is an important topic as well as difficulties in clinical studies on Chinese herbal compounds. The relevant concepts of the dose-effect relationship, its features, its backgrounds, directions and roles of clinical studies on the dose-effect relationship of Chinese herbal compounds were discussed in this essay. The current state of clinical studies was introduced. The confronting challenges of clinical studies were also analyzed, thus providing references for the establishment of appropriate clinical research methods in line with Chinese medicine features.

Journal of Experimental Hematology 2007;15(4):905-908
Mesenchymal stem cells are a kind of non-hematopoietic adult stem cells with selfrenewal and multilineage differentiation potential, which have special biological characteristics, such as secreting hematopoietic growth factors, reconstructing hematopoietic microenvironment, low immunogenicity, and can be transfected and expressed by exogenous gene. This article summarizes the biological characteristics of MSCs and their models of application to acute radiation disease in animals.
