Immunotherapy has been widely used in cancer treatment in recent years and functions by stimulating the immune system to kill tumor cells. Radiation therapy (RT) uses radiation to induce DNA damage and kill tumor cells. However, this activates the body's immune system, promoting the release of tumor-related antigens from inactive dendritic cells, which stimulates the recurrence and metastasis of tumors in immune system tissues. The combination of RT and immunotherapy has been increasingly evaluated in recent years, with studies confirming the synergistic effect of the two antitumor therapies. Particularly, the combination of RT by dose adjustment with different immunotherapies has positive implications on antitumor immunity as well as disease prognosis compared with respective monotherapies. This review summarizes the current research status, progress, and prospects of RT combined with immunotherapy in cancer treatment. It additionally discusses the prevalent concerns regarding the dose, time window, and toxicity of this combination therapy.

Severe allergic reactions to hydrogen peroxide solution and compound chlorhexidine gargle are rare, and most medical professionals have limited understanding of such cases. This article reports a case of anaphylactic shock in a patient with a periodontal abscess following oral flushing with hydrogen peroxide and compound chlorhexidine gargle. Drawing on domestic and international literature, it provides a reference for the emergency management of serious adverse reactions caused by these agents.

Objective : To investigate the effect of solasonine regulation of the STAT3 signaling pathway on the bio- logical behavior of lung adenocarcinoma cells． Methods : H1299 cells were treated with 0. 125，0. 25，0. 5 and 0. 75 mmol /L solasonine，respectively．The proliferative activity of H1299 cells was detected by CCK-8．The mi- gration and invasion ability of H1299 cells were detected by scratch，Transwell migration and invasion assay．The apoptosis level of H1299 cells was detected by flow cytometry and Hoechest 33258 /PI double staining．The protein expression levels of STAT3，p-STAT3 ，Bcl-2 ，Bax ，Caspase-3 ，Cl-Caspase-3 ，Snail ，Slug ，N-cadherin and E- cadherin in H1299 cells were detected by Western blot assay． Results: Solasonine at different concentrations sig- nificantly reduced the proliferation of H1299 cells (P＜0. 05) ．0. 125 and 0. 25 mmol /L solasonine promoted the apoptosis of H1299 cells (P＜0. 05) and inhibited the migration and invasion of H1299 cells (P＜0. 05) ．Solaso- nine inhibited the expression of STAT3，p-STAT3 and Bcl-2 proteins，enhanced the expression of Bax，Caspase-3 and Cl-Caspase-3 proteins．Solasonine inhibited the activation of STAT3 in cells，reduced Snail and Slug protein expression levels，enhanced E-cadherin，reduced N-cadherin(P＜0. 05) ． Conclusion Solasonine can inhibit the activation of STAT3 ，activate the Bcl-2 /Bax / Caspase3 apoptosis pathway ，inhibit the continuous proliferation of lung adenocarcinoma H1299 cells，and promote the apoptosis of lung adenocarcinoma H1299 cells．Meanwhile，it can inhibit the activation of STAT3，reduce the expression of Snail / Slug protein，affect the EMT transformation of lung adenocarcinoma H1299 cells，and inhibit the migration and invasion of lung adenocarcinoma H1299 cells．

Objective To understand the residual levels of eugenol in aquatic products sold in 4 cities in Hubei Province and timely discover potential food safety hazards, and to provide a scientific basis for supervision of eugenol in aquaculture and transportation of aquatic products. Methods From 2021 to 2023, 124 samples of aquatic products were randomly collected from supermarkets and farmers’ markets in Yichang, Xiantao, Jingmen, and Ezhou cities in Hubei Province. The ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry was used to detect the residues of eugenol. Results Eugenol was detected in 51 out of 124 samples, with a detection rate of 41.13%，and a concentration range of N.D. - 2601μg/kg. Among them, 19 out of 40 samples were detected in 2021, with a detection rate of 47.50%; 12 out of 40 samples were detected in 2022, with a detection rate of 30.00%; and 20 out of 44 samples were detected in 2023, with a detection rate of 45.45%. There was no statistically significant difference in the detection rates in different years (P>0.05). The detection rates of eugenol in aquatic products sold in Yichang City, Xiantao City, Jingmen City, and Ezhou City were 22.58%, 35.48%, 41.94%, and 64.52%, respectively, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The detection rates of samples in supermarkets and farmers' markets were 35.56% and 44.30%, respectively, and the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The detection rate of eugenol in bighead carp was the highest at 66.67%, followed by grass carp with a detection rate of 61.22%, which was significantly higher than other fish (P<0.05). Conclusion At present, the widespread use and arbitrary addition of eugenol should be paid attention to by relevant departments.

Objective To investigate the application value of spectral computed tomography venography(CTV)in the display and staging of deep venous thrombosis(DVT)in the lower extremity.Methods Eighty-two patients with CTV were selected and ran-domly divided into group A(42 patients)and group B(40 patients).Group A:tube voltage 120 kVp.Group B:gemstone spectral ima-ging(GSI)mode,reconstruction of 50 keV and iodine(water)maps.The CT and standard deviation(SD)values of the veins were measured,signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and contrast-to-noise ratio(CNR)were calculated in 120 kVp images of group A and in 50 keV images of group B.Two observers scored the image quality of the 2 groups subjectively,and Kappa test was used to examine the con-sistency.Based on the duration from the occurrence of clinical symptoms,the DVTs were classified.The CT values and iodine con-centration(IC)of DVT were measured in the 120 kVp images of group A and in the iodine(water)maps of group B,respectively.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was drawn to compare the effectiveness of CT values and IC in diagnosing DVT staging.Results CT values,SNR,and CNR of veins in group B were higher than those in group A(P<0.05).The subjective scores of the two groups were consistent(Kappa=0.926-0.955,P<0.05).The score for the display of veins and thrombus clarity in group B was 5(4,5),which was better than the score of 4(3,4)in group A(P<0.05).The efficiency of IC in diagnosing DVT staging[area under the curve(AUC)=0.973]was better than that of CT values(AUC=0.891).Conclusion The spectral CTV can improve the contrast of lower extremity deep veins and the clarity of thrombus,and can provide more objective indicators for the diagnosis of thrombus staging,which is conducive to accurate clinical diagnosis and treatment.

OBJECTIVE To compare the changes of chemical components of Morus alba leaves， screen differential markers， and determine their contents， so as to provide reference for quality control of M. alba leaves before and after baked with honey. METHODS The fingerprints of M. alba leaves before and after baked with honey were established by high-performance liquid chromatography （HPLC）. The common peaks of the fingerprints were identified and the similarity was evaluated. The differential markers of M. alba leaves before and after baked with honey were screened by principal component analysis （PCA） and orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis （OPLS-DA） using common peak are of raw material and product baked with honey of M. alba leaves as index. The quantitative analysis was carried out. RESULTS Twenty-three and twenty-four common peaks were identified from the HPLC fingerprint spectra of ten batches of raw material and ten batches of product baked with honey of M. alba leaves， respectively. The similarities of HPLC fingerprints for raw material and product baked with honey of M. alba leaves were all greater than 0.97. The results of PCA showed that raw material and product baked with honey of M. alba leaves could be divided into two categories. The results of OPLS-DA showed that the variable importance in projection of peak 2， peak H （5- hydroxymethylfurfural）， peak 1， peak 17 （isochlorogenic acid C） and peak 16 were all greater than 1. The average contents of differential marker of isochlorogenic acid C in raw material and product baked with honey of M. alba leaves were 0.093 6 and 0.127 8 mg/g， respectively； there was statistical significance （P＜0.05）. CONCLUSIONS Five differential markers such as isochlorogenic acid C are obtained. The content of isochlorogenic acid C in M. alba leaves is significantly increased after baked with honey.

Objective : To explore the effects of microRNA-155 (miR-155) on apoptosis of chronic myeloid leukemia ( CML) cells，and the influence of miRNA-155 regulating the expression of heat shock proteins ( HSP) 27， HSP60，HSP70． Methods : Reverse transcription-quantitative real-time PCR ( RT-qPCR) was used to detect the expression levels of miR-155 in CML-resistant imatinib (IM) cell line K562-G and CML cell line K562 ．K562-G cells were infected with the lentivirus carrying miR-155 or the negative control lentivirus ，and they were named miR-155 group and control group．The effect of miR-155 on the proliferation of drug-resistant cells was detected by cell counting kit-8 ( CCK-8) method. RT-qPCR and Western blot were used to detect the effect of miR-155 on the expression of heat shock proteins HSP27，HSP60，HSP70．Flow cytometry was used to detect the percentage of cell apoptosis in miR-155 group and control group. Results : ompared with K562 cells，miR-155 showed low expres- sion in K562-G cells (P ＜0. 05) ．The proliferation of miR-155 group cells decreased significantly from the 36th hour (P＜0. 05) ．Compared with the control group，in the miR-155 group，HSP60 and HSP70 increased (P < 0. 05) ，while HSP27 decreased (P＜0. 01) ．The apoptosis rate of miR-155 group was higher than that of control group (P＜0. 05) ． Conclusion miR-155 promotes the apoptosis of chronic myeloid leukemia cells，increases the expression of HSP60 and HSP70，and decreases the expression of HSP27 .

Objective : To investigate the effects of immunoglobulin gene superfamily 10 (IGSF10) on prolifera- tion，migration and invasion of lung adenocarcinoma cells． Methods : ioinformatics was applied to study the ex- pression levels of IGSF10 in tumor tissues and normal tissues． Western blot and quantitative real-time PCR ( qPCR) were used to detect the expression level of IGSF10 in lung adenocarcinoma cell lines and normal lung epi- thelial cells．Knockdown of IGSF10，the effect of knockdown of IGSF10 on proliferation，migration and invasion of lung adenocarcinoma A549 cells was examined using cell counting kit-8 ( CCK-8) ，Transwell migration and inva- sion assay，scratch assay and plate cloning assay．The effects of knockdown of IGSF10 on the expression of invasion and migration-related genes in A549 cells were examined by Western blot and qPCR assays. Results : IGSF10 ex- pression in lung adenocarcinoma tissues was lower than that in normal tissues (P ＜0. 05) ．IGSF10 expression in lung adenocarcinoma cell lines was lower than that in lung epithelial cells (P＜0. 05) ．Knockdown of IGSF10 pro- moted the ability of lung adenocarcinoma A549 cells to proliferate ，proliferation ，migration and invasion ( P < 0. 05) ．Knockdown of IGSF10 promoted the expression of regulatory epithelial-mesenchymal transition marker Neu- ral-cadherin (N-cadherin) and key transcription factors Snail family transcriptional repressor 1 (Snail) and Snail family transcriptional repressor 2 (Slug) (P＜0. 05) and inhibited the expression of Epithelial-cadherin (E-cad- herin) (P＜0. 05) ． Conclusion Knockdown of IGSF10 may promote proliferation，migration and invasion of lung adenocarcinoma cells through activation of Snail，Slug / E-cadherin signaling axis，and this result may provide a po- tential new target for clinical diagnosis and treatment of lung adenocarcinoma.

Objective To investigate the influence of spectral CT monochromatic imaging technique on image quality and liver vol-ume measurement in computed tomography portal venography(CTPV).Methods A total of 120 patients who underwent contrast-enhanced abdominal CT examination were prospectively selected and randomly divided into group A and group B.The group A(n=60)was scanned with conventional parameters such as 120 kVp,Smart mA mode,and image reconstruction of 60％adaptive statistical iterative reconstruction-Veo(ASIR-V);while the group B(n=60)was with instantaneous switching 80/140 kVp,gemstone spectral imaging(GSI)Assist mode,and image reconstruction of 60％ASIR-V.In group B,six subgroups of images from 75 to 50 keV(with 5 keV interval)were recorded as subgroups B1 to B6.On the axial images,the CT values and standard deviation(SD)values of por-tal vein,liver and erector spinae were measured,and then the contrast-to-noise ratio(CNR)of portal vein and liver were calculated.The Liver Segmentation software was used to segment the liver in groups A and B,the liver volumes by automatic segmentation and manual segmentation(golden standard)were recorded,and then the volume difference rate was calculated.The overall image quality and automatic liver segmentation results were evaluated by two radiologists using a 5-point scale.Results In terms of overall image quality,subgroup B6 achieved the highest score and was superior to group A(P＜0.001).In terms of liver segmentation,subgroup B3 had the highest score and was superior to group A(P＜0.001).With the decrease of keV,the CT values,SD values and CNR of portal vein and liver in group B were gradually increased(P＜0.05),in which subgroup B6 was higher than that in group A(P＜0.001).The volume difference rate initially decreased and then increased with the decrease of keV.Except for subgroups B2 and B3,the differences were statistically significant between other subgroups and group A(P＜O.001),and the subgroup B3 had the lowest volume difference rate.Conclusion Spectral CT monochromatic ima-ging technique has an influence on CTPV image quality and liver volume measurement.The 50 keV images are the best for displaying portal vein,and the automatic liver segmentation volume of 65 keV images is closest to the real liver volume.

Sheep pox is widespread worldwide and is the most severe animal pox virus infection. This study aimed to identify the key microRNAs (miRNAs) differentially expressed in the exosomes of sheep poxvirus-infected cells and their target genes and related pathways and provide a theoretical basis for an in-depth understanding of the molecular mechanisms of sheep poxvirus-infected cells. In this study, the differentially expressed miRNAs were verified by quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR), and the target genes of miRNAs were predicted and analyzed by bioinformatics. The qPCR results showed that the expression trends of oar-miR-21, oar-miR-10b, oar-let-7f, oar-let-7b, and oar-miR-221 were consistent with the sequencing results. The Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes results showed that differentially expressed miRNAs were mainly involved in the immune system processes of the Arf6 downstream pathway. The target genes Reactome pathways were mainly enriched in the RAC1 GTPase cycle, CDC42 GTPase cycle, RHO GTPase cycle, RHOV GTPase cycle, and post-transcriptional silencing of small RNAs. The transcription factors SP4, NKX6-1, MEF2A, SP1, EGR1, and POU2F1 that may be connected to sheep pox virus (SPPV)-infected cells were discovered by transcription factor annotation screening. In conclusion, this study screened for differentially expressed miRNAs in SPPV-infected cells and performed a series of bioinformatic analyses of their target genes to provide a theoretical basis for the molecular mechanism of sheep pox virus infections of cells. The data can be used as basic information in future studies on the defense mechanisms against poxvirus infections.
