1.Investigation of the changes of lipemia and proteinuria in process of treatment of nephrotic syndrome
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):13-15
A study on the process of treatment of 40 patients with the nephritic syndrome, without the renal failure by prednisolone from 12/1996 to 5/1998 has shown that 100% patients had a high increased concentration of total cholesterol (CT) and low density lipoprotein (LDL); 90% patient had an increased concentration of triglyceride (TG) and 15% patient had an increased concentration of high density lipoprotein (HDL); 100% patients had an increased concentrations of proteinuria over 3.5 g/24 hours. After 2 weeks of treatment, the concentrations of CT, LDL, TG were reduced but were not significant different from these in baseline. The proteinuria was reduced to 40%; concentration of HDL was gradually increased. Their reductions were significant different from these before treatment but risks were high. 75% patients had negative proteinuria.

2.Dyslipidemia during treatment of nephrotic syndrome at Hue Central Hospital
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):45-47
Dyslipidemia is very common in nephrotic syndrome, but in clinical practice this problem is not much interested in, although hyperlipidemia can make dangerous complications for the patients. This study examined the variety of dyslipidemia after steroid treatment in patients with nephrotic syndrome but without renal failure. We studied on 40 patients with nephrotic syndrome at HuÕ Central Hospital and found that before treatment, total cholesterol and LDL concentrations are high. After two-week therapy, these concentrations decreased but insignificantly. After four-week therapy, total cholesterol and LDL concentrations decreased, HDL concentration increased. There was significant difference in comparison with the pre-treated concentrations (p<0.05).

3.Some comments on symptom of angina in myocardial infarction
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;435(11):8-9
101 male patient with diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction were involved in study. The participants have ages ranged from 42 to 85 (mean 62.13+/-8.17). Out of these patients, 4.9% had not a chest pain. 20% of patients had a severe angina and 40.6% of these had a mild angina. Time delay in admission of patients with severe chest pain was shortest (4.55 hours) and that of the patients with mild chest pain was longest (75.61 hours)

5.A study on role of hydrogen in the machanism magnetic resonanse medical imaging
Journal Ho Chi Minh Medical 2003;7(4):191-194
Process of nuclear magnetic resonance is a chain of interactions relate to magnetic nucleus, magnetic fields, pulses, and signals of frequent wave energy. Materials involved magnetic resonance had to include special magnetic properties, typically 1H proton, to interact with magnetic fields these nucleus must have properties as small magnets and as magnetic moment. Frequent wave signal strength were generated from tissues by these nucleus is an important factor of high quality images. It is important for clinical practices during studying the nature of tissues or fluid of body by MRI

6.Malaria situation of unorganized people in a vilillage of the highland province in EaRot, Cu Pui, Khong Bong, DakLak province
Journal of Malaria and parasite diseases Control 2004;0(3):25-30
Studies of 805 samples until 10/2004 show that the malaria prevalence was high in the first 5 months in 2003, among 7 deaths were unorganized migrants. They contract malaria all year round, especially in the beginning of the year with the highest of 11.96% in February. The density of maralia parasite (+) was high in months at the beginning and end of the year such as January, April and October with the density in the first month of 2.92%. Spleenomegaly was mostly seen in age 5-14 with 3.17% and mostly in grade I and II (97.8%). Spleenomegaly grade III and IV is predominated in over 14 years old group (60%). Vectors at the first three months of the year were high and various in species in accordance with the malaria prevalence. An. dirus and An. minimus as the two main vectors of transmitting were present in almost of the year both house inside and outside, which is the cause for the transmission

7.Intestinal helminthiasis in primary school children and its control in Kien Giang province
Journal of Malaria and parasite diseases Control 2003;0(1):92-97
Mass deworming with mebendazol 500mg was made in three schools in the districts of Tan Hiep, Hon Dat and An Bien. A prior treatment survey showed a cumulative infection rate of helminth of 15.6% in the school children of which a light infection of Ascariasis, Trichuris and hookworm but high rate of mixed infection (23%) were found. The post-treatment survey showed a 10.7% of the cumulative infection and 9.2% of the mixed infection. The density of three species was light reduced. Six months after treatment, in Hon Dat where the treatment was combined with IEC, the infection rate was found 6.4%, and it was 13.3% in Tan Hiep where no IEC was made. Mass drug administration is thought to be a simple, safe and highly effective method of deworming that can be supported by both teachers and parents of school children. Periodical mass treatment will be more helpful if combined with IEC.

8.Additional comments about exploit coming to meet chemical drugs whose intellectual ownership will be expired during the period 2005-2015
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;347(3):2-4
Forecast during 10 years from 2005 to 2014, the numbers of chemical drugs whose intellectual ownership will be expired are 83 substances with their turnover of over 100 billion USD. These are main substances that used for treating chronic diseases among non-communicable diseases - a disease pattern in the developed countries and industrializing countries, which Vietnam is one of them. To study about exploit coming to meet chemical drugs whose intellectual ownership will be expired, many generic manufactories have built research – development strategy in order to produce some specific generic groups, avoiding the simple “copy” of the formula and forms of available brand name products

9.Malformation of cerebral artery (diagnosis and treatment)
Journal of Practical Medicine 2003;442(2):71-72
23 patients with diagnosed malformation of cerebral artery treated at Bach Mai Hospital from May 2000 to April 2002, were admitted because of complications of subarachnoid, or epileptic state, or of localized signs of nerves such as unilateral paralysis of III nerve. All patients were undergone basic examination such as angiography, uremia, glucemia, electroencelograme. 16/23 patients undergone CT scan, 19/23 encephalomyelo puncture, 100% encephaloarterigraphy and 16/23 operation. Internal therapy in acute stage is very important, contibuting to the results of an operation

10.Some clinical observations on ventricle hemorrhage
Journal of Practical Medicine 2003;442(2):80-82
37 patients (20 male, 17 female) treated in Bach Mai Hospital from May 2000 to March 2002 with definite diagnosis of ventricle hemorrhage. All they were undergone a CT scanning for detecting the blood in brain ventricle by various level and various images. In 19/37 patients by puncture encephalomyelo liquid was examined, in 1 patient there is an artery - venous communicans determined by arrterioangiography. Initial symptoms such as headache, nausea/vomit, conciousness disturbance, hemi-paralytis, seizure, fever, urine retention, uncontrolled urination, eyelid collapsure, dizziness and perspiration. An early diagnosis and proper treatment can decrease the mortality and the disability
