Objective: In order to popularize the use of interlocking nail, the authors reviewed 81 femoral shaft fractures in 80 patients who were treated with interlocking nail from July 1988 to October 1997. Material and Method: There are 60 males and 20 females. Forty-one fractures were of left femur and 40 of right. The average age was 33 years(range 15-79 years) . Results: The results showed that 60 cases of fractures that followed up over half a year had bony union. The complications included one bone union failure due to incorrect indication. two fractures during the operation, misinserting the proximal screw in 2, and misinserting the distal screw in 3, lengthening of the extremity in 2, valgus knee in 2, deep infection in 1, delayed infection in 1, nail broken in 3, proximal screw broken in 1, distal screw broken in 1, distal screw loosening in 2. Conclusion: 1) The indication must be correctly chosen. 2) Well-trained operative technique for interlocking nail is necessary to reduce the compli cation. 3 )The patient with old or comminuted fracture fixed with G - K nail should properly delay the time to start weight bearing.

Objective: To study the biological characteristics of tumor cells infected with recombinant adenovirus expressing hTNF-?, investigate the antitumor effect of recombinant adenovirus. Methods: Human lung adenocarcinoma cell line Anip973 was infected with recombinant adenovirus expressing hTNF-?. Cell growth assay, colone formation test, flowcytometry assay and morphology were used to observe the effects on tumor cells. The hTNF-a gene, which was transduced into cancer cells mediated by recombinant adenovirus, was detected by PCR and agarose gel electrophoresis and its products were detected by ELISA assay. The intratumoral injection of rAd-LacZ and rAd-hTNF-? was carried out to evaluate their antitumor effects. Results: The liter of rAd reached 1010 PFU/ml and more than 90% Anip973 cells could be infected by 30MOI rAd. Except the surface structure and ultrastructure of tumor cells infected with rAd had a light change, cell growth abillity assay, colone formation test, flow cytometry assay showed no significant difference compared with that of the control cells. The TNF-? gene expression at 24 h increased greatly. Antitumor study indicated that on the tumor-bearing mice treated with rAd the tumor grew slowly. Tumor volume was significantly smaller and survive time was prolonged than that of controls. Conclusion: There was no significantly changes occurred on tumoral cells after infected with recombinant adenovirus expressing hTNF-?. The intratumoral injection of rAd-LacZ and rAd-hTNF-? could inhibit the growth of solid tumor.

Objective To solve the problems in the network management of the hospital's information construction.Methods The client workstations and the users of the hospital network were designed and organized by means of active directory.They are deployed and managed by means of setting the type of users and issuing the group policy.Results The application of active directory could manage the hospital's network uniformly,agilely and safely.Conclusion The management level is enhanced by means of active directory.It will have broad prospects in the hospital's network management.

Objective To assess the value of susceptibility weighted imaging(SWI) in the diagnosis of intracranial hemorrhage. Methods Forty patients with intracranial hemorrhage underwent MRI scanning (GE Signa HDe 1.5 T), which included T2WI, T1WI, T2 * WI and SWI. Of them, DWI was conducted in 37 cases and enhanced MRI was conducted in 10 cases additionally. After post processing on the workstation, both magnitude and phase images of SWI were acquired for further analysis. The images of all sequences were scored from 1 to 3, according to their ability of depicting the lesions. Statistical analysis was conducted to compare the scores among these sequences. Results On SWI, the scores in detecting the lesions, their margin and adjacent veins were 2. 8, 2. 8, and 2. 8 respectively. The scores of those were 1.8, 1.7,and 0.0 on T1WI, 2.3, 2.0 and 0.0 on T2WI, 2.0, 2.1 and 0.2 on T2* WI, respectively. There was statistical difference between the scores on SWI and those on T1WI, T2 WI and T2 * WI ( P < 0. 01 ). The numbers of micro hemorrhagic lesions that could be observed on SWI, T1WI, T2WI, DWI and T2 *WI were 402, 55, 61, 84 and 188 respectively. There was statistical difference in showing micro hemorrhagic lesions between SWI and T1WI, T2WI, DWI, T2 * WI (P < 0. 01 ). Conclusion SWI is sensitive to visualize the hemorrhagic region, and has predominant advantage over conventional MR sequences including T2 * WI in detecting intracranial hemorrhage, especially cerebral microbleeding. According to the features of the paramagnetic and diamagnetic lesions, radiologists can differentiate hemorrhage and calcification with phase images.

Objective To investigate the genotoxicity of aniline and repair dynamics in hepatocytes and lymph-cytes.Methods Aniline was administered intragastrically to SPF Kunming mice ( five mice in each group) in a single dose of 100 mg/kg body weight.The hepatocytes and peripheral blood lymphocytes were obtained at 3, 8, 16, 24, and 32 hours after aniline administration, respectively.The control mice received tap water only.The DNA damages were detected by single cell gel electrophoresis assay ( SCGE) and the time-effect relationship was analyzed.Results The results of SCGE experiment showed that both the tail lenth and tail moment of the hepatocyte DNA were increased gradually from 8 h, and reached the maximum at 16 h ( P<0.01) after aniline administration.As time went on, DNA damage was recovered gradually, and the two DNA damage indexes were completely returned to control levels at 32 h after aniline administration (P>0.05).The two DNA damage indexes of peripheral blood lymphocytes started to increase at 16 h, reached the maxi-mum at 24 h ( P<0.01) , and began to recover at 32 h after aniline administration.Conclusions Our findings suggeste that aniline may be a potential genotoxicant to hepatocytes and peripheral blood lymphocytes.There is a clear time-response relationship in terms of the two DNA damage indexes, indicating that hepatocytes and lymphocytes in mice possess an effi-cient DNA repair mechanism against aniline toxicity.

Objective To verify the relationship between qi-yin deficiency syndrome and the etiology and diagnostic information on type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods Data of 185 cases of qi-yin deficiency syndrome of type 2 diabetes and 351 cases of other syndromes at TCM Hospital of Hongqiao District in Tianjin and Metabolic Disease Hospital of Tianjin Medical University were randomly collected. Etiology and diagnostic information of qi-yin deficiency syndrome were screened by the likelihood radio of forward step method by using Logistic regression analysis. On this basis, the relationship between qi-yin deficiency syndrome and the etiology and diagnostic information was verified by using maximum likelihood estimation method of the structural equation model.Results The goodness of fit index of the model (GFI) was 0.909; root mean square residual (RMR) of that was 0.071; comparative fit index (CFI) of that was 0.942, which suggested that the fitting effect of the model was good. The reasonable interpretation of the relationship between qi-yin deficiency syndrome and the etiology and diagnostic information was given. Conclusion From the aspect of single syndrome factors, the relationship between qi-yin deficiency syndrome and the etiology and diagnostic information on type 2 diabetes mellitus is verified.

Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of Shenqiwuweizikeli for treating chronic insomnia.Methods One hundred and ninety-six cases of subjects were randomly divided into Shenqiwuweizikeli group (n =98) and Estazolam tablets group (n =98).The pittsburg sleep quality index (PSQI) was adopted to evaluate the clinical effects and records of adverse reactions during the study period.Also the lab routine inspection(blood routine,urine routine,liver and kidney function, electrocardiogram were conducted to evaluate safety.Results The Shenqiwuweizikeli and Estazolam tablets all had significant effects for chronic insomnia.The total effective rate of Shenqiwuweizikeli group was 92.86％ (91/98), of Estazolam tablets group was 93.88％(92/98) ,and there was no significant difference (P＞0.05).There were no abnormalities in terms of each routine inspection index.After stopping take the medicine, The adverse reactions including bounce sex insomnia(60 cases), daytime sleepiness/drowsiness (55 cases), dizziness with lacking of power and light headedness(23 cases) in Estazolam tablets group were all more than Shenqiwuweizikeli group with significant difference(P＜0.01).Conclusion The Shenqiwuweizikeli has definite efficacy and safety for treated with chronic insomnia without withdrawal of recoil and dependence.

Objective:To determine the relationship between the curative effect of chemo radiotherapy and brain metastasis in limited-disease small cell lung cancer (LD-SCLC). Methods:Data of 149 patients with LD-SCLC who had undergone chemoradiother-apy between April 2009 and April 2012 were analyzed. The curative effect of chemoradiotherapy was evaluated using RECIST version 1.1, which includes complete response (CR), partial response (PR), stable disease (SD), and progression of disease (PD). The objective relief includes CR and PR. Survival was analyzed using Kaplan-Meier method.χ2 text was used to analyze the correlation between the factors. Results:The median overall survival (OS) was 20.0 months, and the 3-year OS rate was 33.0%. Brain metastasis occurred in 43 (28.8%) out of the 149 patients. Among the 43 cases, 12 (29.3%), 9 (11.8%), and 22 (68.8%) had CR, PR, and SD/PD, respectively (P=0.007). The curative effect of chemoradiotherapy correlates with the rate of brain metastasis (17.8%vs. 68.8%, P=0.027). Signifi-cant differences were found between the curative effect and the brain metastasis-free survival (BMFS) (P=0.005). The 2-year BMSF for CR patients was 79.5%, and the corresponding 2-year BMSF for PR, SD, and PD patients was 71.9%, 45.8%, and 49.6%, respectively. Further analysis showed that the performance of prophylactic cranial irradiation (PCI) had an important effect on the OS (P=0.007) of patients who achieved objective relief. Conclusion:The BMFS of patients with LD-SCLC who achieved CR after chemoradiotherapy is favorable, with low rate of brain metastasis. Patients who received PCI had a better OS. Thus, we suggest that timely PCI should be considered for the patients who achieved CR.

Objective To analyze the genotypes of clinical varicella-zoster virus(VZV) isolates in Tibet.Methods The samples of vesicular fluid from patients with chickenpox or zoster were collected to isolate VZV in human embryonic fibroblast cells.Furtherly,the isolated VZV were identified by indirect immunofluorescence assay and the positive ones were continuely cultured in vitro to get their genome DNAs.Then,PCR and nucleotide sequencing were performed on the part of open reading frames 1,21,50,54.To confirm the genotypes of isolated virus strains,the gene sequences obtained from PCR products were compared with that in GenBank of VZV Dumas strains,and their restriction enzyme sites were analyzed via Primer 5.0.Results Ten clinical isolates of VZV were obtained from sixteen specimens,the positive isolation rate was 62.5％.Gene analysis showed that among all the ten clinical isolates of VZV in Tibet,three strains are genotype A1,four are genotype A2 and the other three are genotype J1.Conclusion The VZV genotype distribution in Tibet was tightly related to their special geographic locations.
