ObjectiveTo evaluate the influence of electrotome on permanent and temporary cardiac pacemaker in laparoscopic cholecystectomy ( LC),and the application of cardiac pacemaker to the cases of cholecystolithiasis combined with bradyarrhythmia.MethodsClinical data of 215 patients with permanent or temporary cardiac pacemaker who underwent were studied for the preoperative and postoperative variation of pacemaker function, and for the influence of electricity coagulation during the operation on cardiac pacemaker function.ResultsLC was successfully completed in all 215 patients. The function of cardiac pacemaker was not obviously interfered during the operation, and the parameters of cardiac pacemaker did not remarkably change after the operation.ConclusionCardiac pacemaker is slightly interfered when electrotome and electrocoagulation were used in LC; LC is feasible and safe for patients with bradyarrhythmia by placement of cardiac pacemaker.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the fidelity of multiple displacement amplification (MDA) from small number of cells (1-10 cells) by 10K 2.0 SNP mapping array.
METHODSA fibroblast cell line (Tri-18; GM02732, 47, XY, +18) was used as the template, and 6 groups were set up in the study. Groups A and B were positive and negative control, respectively; groups C-F were experimental groups involving the MDA products from 1, 2, 5 and 10 cells respectively. In combination of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) array, the product of each group was assessed based on the genome coverage, loss of heterozygosity (LOH) rate and allele dropout (ADO) rate.
RESULTSThe nonspecific product of negative control presented an average call rate of 3.2%. The genome coverage of the MDA product increased from 86.4% to 96.4% with the increasing number of template from 1 to 10 cells, while the LOH rate and ADO rate decreased significantly (P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONMDA is a highly efficient and reliable method for whole genome amplification. The fidelity of MDA will be improved significantly with the increasing number of template cells. 10K 2.0 SNP mapping array is a quick, accurate and comprehensive method to evaluate the fidelity of amplified DNA products, but the ADO SNPs should be distinguished from those of preferential amplification from the LOH loci to avoid errors.

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of combined fascia sheath suspension (CFS) and frontalis muscle flap suspension in the treatment of severe congenital blepharoptosis. Methods:We searched PubMed, EMbase, Cochrane Library, web of science and Chinese Hownet, Wanfang, VIP, CBM and other databases to collect randomized and non-randomized controlled trials comparing the efficacy of CFS and frontalis muscle flap suspension in the treatment of severe congenital ptosis, from the establishment of literature retrieval database to March 2020; two researchers used RevMan 5.3 software to select and exclude the literature, extract the data and evaluate the quality, set up appropriate effect index and conduct Meta-analysis.Results:Eleven studies included 661 patients, There were 312 cases in study group and 349 cases in control group. The results of Meta analysis showed that the OR of the two groups was 4.88 with 95% CI (2.69, 8.85); the OR of failure rate was 0.20, with 95% CI (0.11, 0.37); the OR of complications was 0.22, with 95% CI (0.14, 0.34). All three groups of data were statistically significant ( P<0.05). Conclusions:The available evidence shows that the combined fascia sheath suspension (CFS) is effective in the treatment of severe congenital blepharoptosis compared with frontalis muscle flap suspension, but the complications of CFS are lower and the satisfaction is higher; these findings have yet to be validated by more high-quality studies due to limitations in the quality and quantity of studies included.
