Objective To observe the effects of ischemic postconditioning (I-postC) on lung injury after limb ischemia reperfusion (LIR) in rats, and to investigate the protective effect and the mechanisms. Methods Twenty-four Wistar rats were divided into three groups:control group (group Control), ischemia-reperfusion group (group IR) and ischemic postcondi?tioning group (group I-postC). Referring to routine method in our department, the model rats underwent 4-hour ischemia and 4-hour reperfusion of hind limbs were made. In group Control, the rubber band around the limb was loose, which did not block the blood flow. Rats in group I-postC were given repeated 3 times of 5 min ischemia-5 min reperfusion, and then did perfusion 4 h before reperfusion. The blood and lung samples were collected for detecting arterial gas of partial pressure of oxygen [p(O2)] and partial pressure of carbon dioxide [p(CO2)]. The plasma and lung tissue levels of malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and xanthine oxidase (XOD) were detected. The morphological changes of lung tissue were ob?served under light microscope and electron microscope. Results It was found that after suffering from ischemia-reperfu?sion, levels of p(O2) and p(CO2) decreased significantly. The activity of SOD in plasma and lung tissues decreased, but XOD and MDA increased significantly (P<0.05). With microscope, lung interstitial vascular dilation, infiltration of neutrophils, the width of the alveolar space, alveolar septal thickening and alveolar exudate were found. Compared with IR group, it was found that p(O2) and p(CO2) increased significantly in group I-postC. The activity of SOD in plasma and lung tissues in?creased, but XOD and MDA decreased significantly(P<0.05). The mild damage of pathological changes were found. Conclu?sion Ischemic postconditioning can reduce the lung injury after limb ischemia reperfusion in rats, which may be related to the inhibition of lipid peroxidation.

Objective: To investigate the effects of different processing methods(steeping, boiling) and different adjuvants(alum, ginger, bile) on contents of amino acid and part of inorganic elements in Arisaema amurense Maxim.. Methods: The amino acid was determined by HPLC, and the inorganic elements were determined by AAS. Results: The total content of amino acid was the highest in raw Arisaema amurense Maxim. and the lowest in Arisaema amurense Maxim. processed with bile, wherease it was similar to other processed samples. The inorganic element content changed after it was processed. Conclusion: The long rinse is the key factor of losing amino acid in Arisaema amurense Maxim. after being processed. The content of inorganic element in adjuvants is the key factor of their content changes in Arisaema amurense Maxim. after it is processed.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate clinical efficacy and safety of Teng medicine combined with Gongyankang granules in the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease(CPID). METHODS:A total of 141 CPID outpatients were selected from our hospital during Jul. 2015-Jun.2016,other patients were divided into control group(65 cases)and observation group(76 cases)ac-cording to random number table. Control group was given Gongyankang granules 9 g orally, bid;observation group additionally re-ceived Teng medicine hot compress on lower abdomen for 30 min until it was cool, once a day,on the basis of control group. Both groups began the medication since third day after the menstrual period, for consecutive 20 d. TCM syndrome, local sign scores and clinical efficacies were compared between 2 groups before and after treatment, and the occurrence of ADR and recur-rence were observed in 2 groups. RESULTS:Before treatment, there was no statistical significance in TCM syndrome scores or lo-cal sign scores between 2 groups (P>0.05). After treatment,TCM syndrome scores and local sign scores of 2 groups were de-creased significantly, and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Clinical total response of observation group were 92.11%,which were significantly higher than 70.77% of control group, rate recurrence rate of observation group were 2.99%,which were significantly under than 15.79% of control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). No obvious ADR was found in 2 groups. CONCLUSIONS:Teng medicine hot compress combined with Gongyankang granules show significant efficacy for CPID,can improve TCM syndrome and local sign and reduce recurrence rate with good safety.

OBJECTIVETo understand the prevalence of informing doctors of the HIV infection status during medical care seeking and influential factors among people living with HIV/AIDS.
METHODSThe study was conducted among people living with HIV/AIDS in 7 provinces in China, including those receiving HIV test, HIV counsel and HIV infection treatment. The data were analyzed with software SAS 9.2. Chi-square test was used to compare the informing rates in patients with different characteristics. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were conducted to identify the influential factors.
RESULTSOf the 2 432 HIV/AIDS patients, 49.7% (716/1 442) didn't inform the doctors of their HIV infection status actively. The non-active informing rate was 51.9% (559/1 077) in males, 62.9% (212/337) in age group 18-30 years old, 58.1% (555/955) in those with a educational level >primary school, 65.7% (241/367) in those working in private/joint companies or the self employed and 62.5% (197/315) in those living in small cities. The non active informing rate was highest in those infected through sexual contact (66.3%, 275/415). Multivariate logical regression analysis indicated that those infected through illegal blood donation would like to inform of the HIV infection status actively (OR=0.083, 95% CI: 0.049-0.141) , but those working in private/joint companies or the self employed would like not to inform of the HIV infection status actively (OR=1.531, 95% CI: 1.017-2.304).
CONCLUSIONThe non active informing rate of HIV infection status was high in people living with HIV/AIDS. It is necessary to conduct the targeted health education to encourage people living with HIV/AIDS to inform of their HIV infection status actively.
