Objective To study the influence of Compound Salvia injection combined with cefoperazone sulbactam sodium on renal function and renal interstitial fibrosis in elderly patients with chronic pyelonephritis (CPN).Methods From April 2013 to July 2014, 126 cases of CPN were divided into observation group ( n =63 ) and control group ( n =63 ) according to the order of admission to hospital.All patients were given cefoperazone sulbactam sodium, and patients in observation group were added Compound Salvia injection.The clinical efficacy of treatment were evaluated between two groups, renal function and TGF-β1 were observed and compared before and after treatment in two groups.Results After treatment, HE staining of nephridial tissue showed renal interstitial fibrosis in observation group obvious improved more.The overall response rate of observation patients (90.48%) was significantly higher (74.60%) than control group, and the relapse rate of observation group (1.59%) was significantly lower than control group (14.29%), and there were statistically significant differences (P<0.05).After treatment, urinary albumin (11.4 ±3.1) mg/L, BUN (5.7 ±0.5) mmol/L, and Scr (103.2 ±10.4)μmol/L of observation group were significantly lower than control group, respectively (P<0.05).After treatment, TGF-β1 level (103.4 ±32.5) ng/L of observation group was significantly lower than control group (202.4 ±35.2) ng/L(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between two groups.Conclusions Compound Salvia injection combined with cefoperazone sulbactam sodium has good efficacy.can significantly improve renal function, delay renal interstitial fibrosis in treatment of elderly patients with chronic pyelonephritis.

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of the treatment of clearing liver fire,removing dampness,strengthening spleen and tonifying kidney in treating middle-aged and old woman with chronic urinary tract infection.Methods82 cases were randomly divided into two groups.42 cases in treatment group were treated with herbal prescription of clearing liver fire,removing dampness,strengthening spleen and tonifying kidney,and 40 cases in control group were treated with sensitive antibiotics.The clinical effect,safety and changes of immune index were compared between two groups.ResultsIn the treatment group,the recent cure rate was 76.8％,the total effective rate was 90.5％ and the complete cure rate was 61.9％; while in the control group,the recent cute rate was 50％,the total effective rate 65％ and the complete cure rate 27.5％.It showed significant difference between two groups (Z=2.740,P＜0.05).There was no significant difference between two groups in hepatic and renal function,serum and urine β2-MG level before and after treatment and it showed a better clinical safety in treatment group.The level of IgA,IgG and IgM increased after the treatment in treatment group.Comparing with the control group,the results showed significant differences(t=9.1,10.5 and 11.2 respectively,P＜0.01).In treatment group the level of CD4+was increased,CD8+was decreased,and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ was increased obviously after the treatment.The differences before and after the treatment and between groups were significant(t=13.3,8.6,P＜0.01).In control group the level of CD4+、CD8+、CD4+/CD8 +did not change significantly.The differences before and after the treatment had no statistical significance (P＞0.05).ConclusionThe treatment with herbs of clearing liver fire,removing dampness,strengthening slpeen and tonifying kidney had better effect,less side effect and good research prospect.

Objective To observe the curative effect of herbal iontophoresis with rotation manipulation treating lumbar disc herniation.Methods 84 patients from July 2011 to July 2012 with lumber disc herniation in Electric Power hospital of Capital Medical University were randomly divided into two groups (a testing group n=42,a control group n=42).The testing group was treated with herbal iontophoresis and rotation manipulation,and the control group was treated with rotation manipulation only.The Visual Analogue Scale and Macnab standard for curative effect were observed before the treatment and 3 weeks later after the treatment.Results The total effective rate was 88.1％ and 66.7％ in the testing group and the control group respectively,the difference between two groups was statistically significant (chi-square=5.51,P=0.02＜0.05).The VAS before and after treatment in testing group were (7.31±1.39) and (2.41±1.62) respectively,compared with (7.19± 1.38) and (3.07± 1.28) in the control group.The VAS and curative effect indexes were both improved in the two groups,but the testing group increased more apparent,and the difference between the two groups was significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion The curative effect of herbal iontophoresis and rotation manipulation treating lumber disc herniation was sound.

Objectives To detect genetic causes of dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (DEB). Methods Next-generation sequencing was used to detect a neonate with DEB. Sanger sequencing was used to confirm the results and detect his parents and grandmother on his mother side from the family. Results The neonate was found to have heterozygous mutation c.6781C>T of exon 86 in COL7A1 gene.This mutation results in R2261X nonsense mutation in typeⅦcollagen. His mother and grand-mother on his mother side have the same mutation. Conclusion Next-generation sequencing technology is a useful tool for the detection of mutations of COL7A1 gene, which is valuable for clinical application.

Objective To explore the clinical and biological characteristics and treatment effect of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in elderly patients. Methods The clinical data of 62 patients over 60 years old with AML were retrospectively analyzed, and they were compared with those of 60 younger adult patients (18-59 years old) at the same period. Results In elderly patients, the complete remission (CR) rate was 27. 7% and the overall effective rate was 44.7%, which were lower than those of younger adult patients (74.1% and 87.9 %, 1-espectively, P＜0.01). The early death rate was 19.0% and the mortality rate during the first two induction chemotherapy was 29. 3% in the elderly, which were higher than those of younger adult patients (3. 3% and 6.7%, 1-espectively,P＜0.01). The 27.4% of elderly patients were diagnosed as myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS)-transformed AML, which were more than that of younger adult patients (10.0%, P＜0.05), and they had lower CR rate than those without MDS (P＜0. 05). The 28.2% of elderly patients had lymphoid antigen positive AML and 71.8% of patients showed CD34+ which were higher than those of younger adult patients (8. 1% and 48.6%, respectively, P＜0. 05), and they had lower CR rate than those of lymphoid antigen negative and those of CD34- AML (P＜0. 05). Elderly patients had less favorable and more unfavorable karyotypes than younger adult patients (45.7 % and 15.4 %, P＜0. 05). Conclusions The elderly patients with AML have more unfavorable prognostic factors than younger adult patients. They have lower CR rate and higher mortality rate. There are many specialties in elderly patients and the treatment strategy should be made more individually.

ObjectiveTo explore the application effect of using the comprehensive index method for occupational health risk assessment in the lead-acid battery enterprises. Methods Convenient sampling method was used to select two lead-acid battery enterprises A and B in Jiangsu Province, with eight key positions including ball grinding, plate casting, pasting, plate coating, plate grinding, plate slicing and brushing, welding and acid charging as the research subjects. Worksite survey of occupational health was conducted in these two lead enterprises, and the levels of lead smoke, lead dust and sulfuric acid in the key positions were detected. The health risk of occupational hazards in the eight key positions was evaluated by a comprehensive index method. Results The time-weighted average concentration (C_TWA) of lead smoke in plate casting and welding positions of enterprise A, the C_TWA of lead dust in plate grinding and plate slicing and brushing positions of enterprise A, the C_TWA of lead dust in plate grinding position of enterprise B, the C_TWA of lead smoke in welding position of enterprise B were exceeded national occupational exposure limits. The risk assessment results of the plate casting, welding, plate grinding and plate slicing and brushing positions were moderate risk, while other positions were low risk in enterprise A. The risk assessment results of the plate grinding and welding positions were moderate risk, while other positions were low risk in enterprise B. Conclusion The results of risk assessment by the comprehensive index method were consistent with the results of occupational hazard factors detection. The comprehensive index method could well evaluate the occupational health risks of lead-acid battery enterprises.

Objective To study the clinical curative effect of syndrome differentiation-based treatment with traditional Chinese medicine on patient with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD3-4). Method According to prospective multicenter randomized controlled study which was applied to the patients with CKD3-4 , the total of 339 patients were divided into two groups. To one group as standard including 167 patients ,the other including 172 patients. Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine single or combined-prescription oral treatment according to syndrome differentiation-based treatment was employed. To the other group as reference , Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine oral treatment according to experienced rule was applied. The clinical curative effect results were obtained after a 24 weeks-treatment. Result The Scr ,eGFR and UTP with CKD3 in standard group illustrate statistics significance (P<0.05). On the opposite, those of the reference group remain insignificance (P > 0.05). The clinical curative effect result of patient in standard group was better than that of reference group. About the clinical curative effect of CKD4, no statistics significance difference (P > 0.05) could be found between groups or between patients in one group. The TCM score of patient with CKD3-4 in standard group have improved (P < 0.05) according to baseline. However, that of reference group did not show any statistics significance (P > 0.05). Conclusion Syndrome differentiation-based treatment with traditional Chinese medicine illustrated a better result in protection of renal function, reduction in urinary protein and decline in TCM score than the treatment according to experienced rule.

The spike gene of porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) was sequenced from 55 South China field strains isolated from pigs with symptoms of diarrhea. The sequences were compared within the set of field strains as well as with reference strains available in GenBank. Within the 55 South China PEDV field strains, the deduced amino acid sequence identities ranged from 93.8% to 99.9 % and ranged from 90.7% to 99.5% when compared with the foreign reference strains in GenBank. Our phylogenetic analysis showed that 10 of the 55 South China PEDV strains belonged to G1b and 45 belonged to G2b.

Objective: To understand the characteristics and causes of pesticide poisoning in Xuzhou city, and provide basis for formulating prevention and control measures. Methods: The cases of pesticide poisoning in Xuzhou City from 2005 to 2017 were collected from "Pesticide Poisoning Report Card" . The data were analyzed and assessed by EpiData. The SPSS 22.0 software was used for statistical analysis. Results: During the thirteen years, there were a total of 8092 cases of pesticide poisoning, among which, the number of occupational pesticide poisoning was 1 408, accounting for 17.4% of the total number of cases, 14 patients died, the case fatality rate was 0.1%. There were 2, 992 cases of male poisoning, accounting for 36.97% of the total number of cases, and 5, 100 cases of female poisoning, accounting for 63.03%. There were 6684 non-productive pesticide poisonings, accounting for 82.6% of the total number of cases; 387 deaths occurred, and the mortality rate was 5.8%. Among non-productive poisonings, the incidence of oral pesticide poisoning was 84.3%, and the incidence of accidental poisoning by pesticides was 15.7%. Organophosphorus pesticides poisoning cases accounted for the majority of oral pesticide poisoning cases. The overall incidence of pesticide poisoning showed a downward trend. The age of non-productive pesticide poisoning cases was mainly 15-44 years old, and the number of cases of poisoning were 4 029 cases (60.28%) . With the increase of age, the mortality rate of poisoning cases was higher, especially for those over 60 years old who died of oral pesticide poisoning (40.1%) . The peak of pesticide poisoning began to increase in the second quarter and reached its peak in the third quarter. Conclusion Although the cases of pesticide poisoning reported in Xuzhou City have been declining in recent years, the situation is still severe. The proportion of oral pesticide suicide accounts for a large proportion, and the mortality rate of elderly and female is relatively high, and the government should pay more attention. Workers should conduct safety education and psychological counseling to improve the knowledge and consciousness of safe use of pesticides.
