[Objective]To explore improved operation treatment of fractures of olecranon and internal or external malleolus by fixing them internally with needle wire amend tension band.[Method]A total of 89 cases of olecranon fracture and 63 cases of internal and external malleolus fracture were treated by the amended traditional tension belt using needle wire nails.[Result]Sixty-eight and 55 of these cases(80.9%) had been followed-up respectively for 2.5 years in average,the longest follow-up period was 5 years and the shortest was 6 months.It shows through evaluation with Wolfgang post curative standard that 65 and 53 cases were excellent in curative effect(95.9%),3 and 2 cases had moderate result(4.1%),and there was no worse case.The average fracture cure time was 1.5 months.[Conclusion]The improvement of traditional tension belt in olecranon and internal or external malleolus fracture operation by using needle wire nails has the following advantages:(1)Simplifying operation procedures;(2)Reducing number of steel nails;(3)Keeping the biomechanical principle of the tension band and internal AO fixing advantage;(4)Reducing the phenomena of "tension loss" caused by expanded steel wire holes as a result of osteonecrosis,and avoiding internal loose complication.The disadvantage of this method is that the fixation has to be taken out through operation.

Objective To compare the karyote counting and classification results of Sysmex XE-5000 automatic blood analyzer (XE-5000) and manual method in special body fluids .Methods 100 cases of special body fluid specimens (including cerebrospinal fluid and serous cavity effusion) were analyzed ,and the the karyote counting and classification were respectively detected by XE-5000 and the traditional manual method of microscope .Results When the karyote counts were 31-1 000/μL ,there was no signifi-cant difference between XE-5000 and manual method (P>0 .05) .And the karyote counting and classification results of XE-5000 correlated with those of manual method (r=0 .981 ,0 .991 ,P<0 .05) .Conclusion When the karyote counts are 31-1 000/μL ,XE-5000 has good accuracy and high precision in karyote detection in special body fluids .

Objective To investigate the correlation between the frustration tolerance and personality of medical college students and to discuss its promoting strategies.Methods Totally 460 college students were selected randomly.Questionnaire of frustration tolerance and scale of Eysenck personality inventory(EPQ) were used and the measurement data were compared with correlation analysis and regression analysis of SPSS 13.0.Results Correlation was significant between frustration tolerance (total score and 6 inducing factors) and personality (EPQ factors) of college students ； personality (EPQ factors)of students could predict their frustration tolerance and corresponding t value was -4.85,P ＜ 0.01 (psychoticism),6.93,P ＜ 0.01 (extraversion),-11.15,P ＜ 0.01 (neuroticism).Conclusions Personality of college students are greatly influenced by their frustration tolerance.Targeted anti-frustration ability training should be conducted according to the different personality characteristics.

Objective: To investigate the relationship between physical activity, sleep duration, overweight, obesity and depressive symptoms among middle school students in Tianjin, and to provide the evidence for targeted prevention of depression. Methods: In September 2019 to 2021, the stratified cluster sampling method was used to select 52 747 middle school students from 16 districts in Tianjin for questionnaire survey, including demographics, depressive symptom, sleep status and physical activity. The χ 2 test and multivariate Logistic regression were used to analyze the data. Results: The prevalence of depressive symptoms among middle school students in Tianjin was 19.07%, with higher prevalence in female, urban areas, resident students and left behind students ( χ 2=128.44, 155.77, 35.29, 19.15, P <0.05). The prevalence of overweight and obesity were 20.64% and 22.13%, the proportion of students who met physical activity, outdoor activity, sleep duration guideline were 49.54%, 33.64%, 25.77%, respectively. Logistic regression results showed that meeting the guidelines on physical activity, outdoor activity, sleep duration and BMI were negatively correlated with depression symptoms, with sleep duration showed the highest protective effects on depressive symptoms( OR=0.60, 95%CI =0.57-0.63, P <0.05). Compared with students who did not meet any guidelines, students who met 4 guidelines had a lower risk of depression symptoms( OR=0.39, 95%CI =0.34-0.46, P <0.05). Conclusion The prevalence of depressive symptoms of middle school students in Tianjin is in moderate level, and the intervention should be comprehensively administered in terms of sleep duration, physical activity, outdoor activities, as well as overweight and obesity to reduce the occurrence of depression symptoms among middle school students.

Objective:To investigate the clinical features of 17q12 microdeletion cases before and after delivery, and provide a reference for prenatal diagnosis and genetic counseling.Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on five fetuses diagnosed with 17q12 microdeletion by single nucleotide polymorphism array in Quanzhou Women's and Children's Hospital between April 2020 and June 2023. Clinical data including prenatal ultrasonography findings, genetic causes, parental clinical features, and postnatal outcomes were summarized and analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis.Results:The five fetuses had normal results of karyotype analysis of amniotic fluid, but carried a microdeletion of 1.4 to 1.8 Mb in the 17q12 region of the chromosome, involving 20 genes listed in the Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man database. Pedigree verification was performed on all five cases and the results indicated one maternally inherited case with the mother having polycystic kidneys complicated by left hydronephrosis, one de novo case, and three paternally inherited cases with one father having multiple cysts in both kidneys and two fathers showing no abnormalities. Multiple abnormalities were found in the five fetuses by prenatal ultrasonography, including enhanced renal parenchymal echogenicity in four cases and pyelectasis in one case. Two cases chose to terminate the pregnancies, while the other three continued the pregnancies to full term. Postnatal follow-ups showed that one case was normal in growth and development with no abnormalities by renal ultrasound; one case developed polycystic kidney; one case with normal renal ultrasound findings had a speech disorder and symptoms of suspected autism at the age of three. Conclusions:The main manifestation of 17q12 microdeletion is enhanced renal parenchymal echogenicity in the fetal stage and postnatal polycystic kidney. In prenatally diagnosed cases, pedigree verification is necessary as an objective and scientific genetic counseling is helpful in pregnancy decision-making.

Objective: To analyze the distribution characteristics of immunoglobulin A (IgA) concentration in Nanning Zhuang blood donors by measuring the concentration of plasma IgA. Methods: Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was performed to measure the absorbance of 2 000 plasma samples from Zhuang blood donors. The IgA concentration in samples was calculated using the ELISA Calc regression/fitting technology program. Results: The standard curve demonstrated that ELISA detection of plasma IgA concentration exhibited good precision. The frequency of IgA deficiency was 0/2 000. No statistically significant difference in the distribution of IgA concentration was observed between males and females (P>0.05). The distribution of IgA concentration varied significantly across age groups: younger individuals (18-39 years old) had lower plasma IgA levels (mg/dL) compared to older individuals (40-56 years old): 5-89.99 mg/dL group, 8.80% (176/2 000) vs 17.20% (344/2 000); 90-450 mg/dL group,20.65% (413/2 000) vs 51.20% (1 024/2 000); >450 mg/dL group, 0.45%, (9/2 000) vs 1.70% (34/2 000), P<0.05. No significant difference in IgA concentration was found among different ABO blood types in Zhuang blood donors (P>0.05). Spearman correlation analysis revealed a positive correlation between age and IgA concentration (R =0.114, P<0.05). Conclusion: No individuals with IgA deficiency were screened out among the Zhuang blood donors in Nanning area, and plasma IgA levels progressively increase with age.
