Objective To investigate the role of CD35 on erythrocytes played in antigen activating immunological reaction of lymphocytes. Methods Suspensions of lymphocytes(1?10~6/ml)and erythrocytes (1?10~8/ml) were respectively separated from anticoaguted whole blood of healthy adults with the lymphocyte separation medium. Using inactivated ascites carcinoma cell S180(1?10~6/ml) as activation antigen and autologous plasma as reactive medium, the role of erythrocytes in regulating the anti-neoplasm immunological reaction of lymphocytes was appraised. The expression of CD25 on lymphocytes was detected and compared using flow cytometry assay with CD35 on erythrocytes blocked by monoclonal antibody or complements in plasma were destroyed by EDTA. Results The expression of CD25 on lymphocytes (18.22?4.27%) was significantly decreased when CD35 on erythrocytes was blocked (P

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1983;0(02):-
Objective To study the changes in the expressions of CXCR4 of leucocytes as modulated by erythrocytes from cord blood. Methods 0.2ml suspension of whole blood cells (or 0.2ml suspension of leucocytes) was added to 0.3ml of auto plasma, and 0.2ml suspension of S180 (5?10~6/ml) was added as stimuli. The suspension was incubated at 37 ℃ for 1 hour. Normal saline instead of S180 was used as control The expression changes in CD35 on erythrocytes and CXCR4 on leucocytes were determined with flow cytometry assay. The data could be grouped under four heads: (1) cancer cells 0.2ml were added to whole blood cells 0.2ml and plasma 0.3ml; (2) NS 0.2ml were added to whole blood cells 0.2ml and plasma 0.3ml; (3) cancer cells 0.2ml were added to white blood cells 0.2ml and plasma 0.3ml; (4) NS 0.2ml were added to white blood cells and plasma 0.3ml. Results When activated by S180, the expression of CD35 on cord erythrocytes was decline not so low as that of adult′; while the expression of CXCR4 on cord leucocytes was increased not so high as that of adults′. When activated by S180, the expression of CD35 on adult erythrocytes was significantly decreased than that of group of not activating (40.21%?11.52% and 28.65%?8.08% respectively), while the expression of CXCR4 on adult erythrocytes was significantly increased (40.62%?17.89% and 64.18%?11.69% respectively, P

Objective To discuss the pathogeny, treatment and prophylactic measures of postcholecystectomy syndrome (PCS).Methods The clinical data of 150 patients with laparoscopic PCS in our department from October 2000 to March 2009 were analyzed. Results Etiological factors were found in 131 patients:one hundred and twelve cases were due to the reasons of biliary system, including bile duct residual stones after cystic resection, the injury bile duct stenosis,a long residual cystic canal, nipple benign stricture, bile duct tumor etc;Nineteen examples were due to other reasons, including gallbladder stone merger reflux gastritis, gastroduodenal ulcer, diverticulum beside duodenal nipple, and so on,which resulted in the symptoms un-release after cystic resection.Nineteen cases were not found organic lesion. In ones whose etiological factors were definite,117 cases were treated with different surgeries according to different etiological factors;another 33 cases were treated with conservative treatment.Total 145 cases were followed up,and 139 cases in them were cured or relieved at different degrees. Conclusion Careful preoperative examination, normalized operation avoiding damaging bile duct and leaving behind bile duct stones can effectively prevent laparoscopic PCS.

Objective To study complement receptor typeⅠ(CR1)activity of erythrocytes in pa-tients with SLE.Methods Using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP),CR1rosette(RBC-CR1R)and immuno-complex rosette(RBC-ICR)on red cell, the ery-throcyte complement receptor I type(ECR1)genomic density polymorphism(HH type,HL type,LL type)and erythrocyte CR1immune activity were determined in32patients with SLE and in48normal individuals. Results It was found that HH type rate of ECR1density polymorphism in patients with active SLE was significantly lower(10/16,62.5%)than that(13/16,81.3%)in patients with stable SLE.The level of CR1immune activity in HH type was significantly higher than that in HL,LL type of SLE,and significantly dif-ferent from that in48normal individuals(P

Object To investigate the properties of layer crystal structure and its interlayer absorption and expansibility in montmorillonits clay lattice, which provide a basis for the montmorillonite as medicine adjuvant. Methods Montmorillonite sample was separated and purified from clay minerals, and the diameter of particle was less than 1 ?m in colloid, the setting film sample was ready-made, and the samples were analyzed with X-ray diffraction. Results The information of interlayer change pattern on montmori-llonite clay was obtained with different conditions. Conclusion Montmorillonite as swelling and adsorption clay minerals and form an interlayer absorption is possible and the X-ray diffraction can determine the amounts of layer distance.

Objective To analyse the effect of specimen storage time on platelet count in apheresis Donors,in order to choose the appropriate testing time. Methods We choose fifty healthy Unpaid Blood Donors of Platelets to test platelet count in 0,0.5,1,3,6h respectively by the blood counting instrument. Results At room temperature, the count of platelets from blood samples is relatively lower at 0 hour and the difference is significant (P < 0.05).After 0.5-6 hours, the count of platelets become stabilized and not has significantly different(P>0.05).Conclusion The count of platelets of blood samples is lower at 0 hour than 0.5-6 hours, this work suggest that the count of platelets of blood samples should be done at 0.5-6 h in order to protect platelets quality.

Objective Implementing the scientific research performance evaluation indicator system constructed to evaluate the situation of scientific research performance conducted by two basic Departments during the 12th Five-Year period in a general hospital. To understand the practical applicability of the scientific evaluation index system, and also propose comments and suggestions based on the comparison between assessment score and actual research situation in the departments. Methods Based on the database of scientific research management information platform, collect related research data from two basic departments of the hospital in latest five years.Using SPSS software to conduct statistical analysis on the total score of the first and two indicators,as well as the specific indicators of the three indicators, according to the performance evaluation index system and the weight built by the hospital. Results The index system can basically reflect the general information of scientific research input and output in the department, however, some indicators cannot truly reflect the index importance and the differences between the index weight is not significant,so it is necessary to make amendment based on demonstration. Conclusions Hospital should dynamically update the index system to make them match the developing strategy of the hospital, also important to combine them with research stimulation to guarantee more scientific management and better service to the research development of hospitals.

Objective To investigate the effect of exercise on glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4) in adipocyte of rats with insulin resistance induced by diets. Methods Experimental rats were randomized into three groups: a control group (n=10), a model group (n=10) and an exercise group (n=10). The model and exercise groups were fed with the diets enriched with sucrose (20%,w/w), lard (10%, w/w), cholesterol (2.5%, w/w) and cholic acid (1%, w/w) to induce insulin resistance. Exercise group was subject to swim for 6 weeks. After the plasma membrane and the intracellular membrane of adipocyte were prepared and separated, GLUT4 protein was detected by Western blot analysis. The body weight, serum triglyceride and cholesterol, fasting plasma glucose and serum insulin concentration were detected at the predetermined time points. And the insulin sensitivity index was calculated. Results Western blot analysis showed that intracellular membrane GLUT4 protein in adipocyte of the rats in the model group decreased by 38.72% (P
