Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(01):-
Objective To explore the role of HPV16 and p53 protein in the pathogenesis of tumors of nasal cavity and sinus of Chinese people. Methods The expression of HPV16 and p53 in 58 tumor samples of nasal cavity and sinus was detected by immunohistochemistry. Results There was no p53 expression in inverted pipillomas(IP). HPV16 infection rate in IP was 62.5%. The positive rate of p53 protein in the malignant tumors and IP with atypical hyperplasia was 56.0% and 44.4%, respectively, and HPV16 infection rate in the both tissues was 24.0% and 66.7%, respectively. The positive rate of p53 and HPV16 simultaneous expression in IP with atypical hyperplasia were 33.3%, which was higher than that in the malignant tumors and IP without atypical hyperplasia. Conclusion The high-risk HPV16 infection may be primary cause of IP. p53 gene mutation may be close relation with the pathogenesis of nasal cavity and sinus malignant tumors. HPV16 and p53 may have synergic effect in the malignant transformation of nasal cavity and sinus benign tumors.

5.Novel drugs and novel regimens in treatment of advanced gastric cancer
Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University(Medical Science) 2006;0(05):-
There is a high prevalence of gastric cancer in China, but most of the patients are diagnosed at advanced stages, when chemotherapy is regarded as an important component of the multimodal treatment.Chemotherapy has demonstrated advantages over best suppor-tive care in prolonging survival and improving quality of life.Over the past 40 years, the clinical responses of two or three-drug combination chemotherapy regimens have been accepted, and 5-fluorouracil,cisplatin and epirubicin have been most frequently used in gastric cancer.Recently, the therapeutic effects of advanced gastric cancer treated by new regimen consisted of docetaxel, irinotecan, oxaliplatin and capecitabine have been further enhanced. The molecular targeted agent, cetuximab and bevacizumab, combined with chemotherapy, would be more promising therapeutic regimens in the treatment of advanced gastric caner.

BACKGROUND:Potential mechanisms of scar formation and scar prevention strategies have become more important in current medical research. Scar assessment scales have the potential to contribute to better evaluation of scar properties in both research and clinical diagnosis. OBJECTIVE: To summarize the literatures addressing scar prevention and clinical assessment. METHODS: A computer search of CNKI database from 2000 to 2014, PubMed database from 1975 to 2014 and Foreign Medical Journal Ful-Text Service Database from 2000 to 2014 was performed using the keywords of scar, prevention, treat, cicatrix, assessment, measure in Chinese and English to retrieve articles related to scar prevention strategies and scar assessment scales. Totaly 39 articles meeting the inclusive criteria were included in result analysis. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: During wound healing, the unbalance between colagen anabolism and katabolism can lead to the formation of pathological scar. Prevention and treatment of pathological scars should be combined, and early intervention was used in wound healing. General scar assessment scales include Vancouver Scar Scale, Visual Analog Scale, Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale, Manchester Scar Assessment Scale, Stony Brook Scar Assessment Scale, al of which have the potential to contribute to better evaluation of scar properties in both research and clinical diagnosis.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(06):-
Aim To quantitatively analyze the lymphocyte proliferation using the time-series data of carboxyfluorescein diacetate succinimidyl ester(CFSE).Methods The model of immune suppression in mice was created by cyclophosphamide and CFSE dye was used for staining the lymphocyte of both control group and treatment group animals. The data were analyzed through mathematical model-fitting.Results The first generation of cell proliferation of the control group and treatment group were 27.17 h and 22.88 h; cell death rates in each division were respectively 20% and 40%; the half-life of cells before the proliferation was respectively 31.53 h and 43.32 h.Conclusions The mathematical fitting of CFSE data can quantitatively analyze the mechanism of the drugs attecting the proliferation of lymphocyte. In this experiment the mechanism of cyclophosphamide inhibiting lymphocyte proliferation may be due to the increase of cell death rate of each division caused by cyclophosphamide.
