Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2002;277(10):21-25
Education for breast self-examination, clinical examination, and fine needle aspiration biopsy was carried out in 1915 women, aged 16 to 74 at 3 communes (ThÞnh §¸n, Trung Thµnh, T©n Thanh) in Th¸i Nguyªn City. Results indicated that: breast cancer was detected in 0.1% of cases while other breast diseases were found in 4.7% of cases. 8.Quantification of markers of breast cancer in healthy people by IRMA
Journal of Practical Medicine 2002;421(4):56-59
The quantification of markers of breast cancer in healthy people (26 people for CA 15-3 and 28 people for CEA) by IRMA has shown that the serum concentration of CA15-3 and CEA was 19.12+/- 15.44 u/ml and 4.19 +/- 2.35 ng/ml, respectively. The medium (4.48), mininum (0.00) and maxinum (8.37) ng/ml. These results can be used to compared with markers in patients with breast cancer. There was no difference of these between men and women.

Journal of the Korean Society for Therapeutic Radiology 1991;9(1):165-170
In breast cancer, the treatment volume presents a relatively complex three dimensional structure. Effective radiation therapy requires the delivery of adequate dose to a large target volume using complex beam arrangements. The technique proposed here is our department's method using asymmetric jaw with appropriate couch, collimator and gantry rotation. This technique has the following advantages: 1) all treatments are given in a single clinical set up 2) it dose not require half beam blocks 3) it produces exact geometric match 4) it is very convenient and easy to use 5) it has daily reproducibility.
