Objective To investigate the right ventricular morphology and function of patients with atrial septal defects by single beat real-time three-dimensional echocardiography. Methods Thirty-four healthy volunteers and twenty-seven ASD patients were enrolled consecutively as normal controls and the ASD group respectively.Single cardiac cycle real-time three dimensional echocardiography was performed in all to evaluate parameters concerning modality and systolic function of participants' right ventricle. The relationship of indexed right ventricular end diastolic volume (IEDVRV) and end systolic volume(IESVRV)with mean pulmonary arterial pressure measured through cardiac catheter and systolic pulmonary artery pressure calculated though the three tricuspid regurgitation were observed. Results Indexed right ventricular end diastolic volume (IEDVRv),end systolic volume(IESVRV),right ventricular stroke volume (ISVRV) and right ventrieular ejection fraction (RVEF) were greater in the ASD group than in controls (P < 0.05).IEDVRv and IESVRV had positive relation with pulmonary pressure measured by cardiac catheter and systolic pulmonary artery pressure calculated though the three tricuspid regurgitation. Conclusions Single cardiac cycle real-time three dimensional echocardiography has an obvious advantage than normal test in evaluating the change of the right ventricular function and shapes, furthermore, single cardiac cycle real-time three dimensional echocardiography can indirectly determined the pressure of the pulmonary without wound.

The impact of maternal air pollution exposure on offspring health has received much attention. Precise and feasible exposure estimation is particularly important for clarifying exposure-response relationships and reducing heterogeneity among studies. Temporally-adjusted land use regression (LUR) models are exposure assessment methods developed in recent years that have the advantage of having high spatial-temporal resolution. Studies on the health effects of outdoor air pollution exposure during pregnancy have been increasingly carried out using this model. In China, research applying LUR models was done mostly at the model construction stage, and findings from related epidemiological studies were rarely reported. In this paper, the sources of heterogeneity and research progress of meta-analysis research on the associations between air pollution and adverse pregnancy outcomes were analyzed. The methods of the characteristics of temporally-adjusted LUR models were introduced. The current epidemiological studies on adverse pregnancy outcomes that applied this model were systematically summarized. Recommendations for the development and application of LUR models in China are presented. This will encourage the implementation of more valid exposure predictions during pregnancy in large-scale epidemiological studies on the health effects of air pollution in China.

Chinese Journal of Clinical Nutrition 2022;30(6):321-327
Objective:To explore the risk factors of sarcopenia in liver cirrhosis and construct a diagnosis model for sarcopenia in cirrhosis.Methods:73 patients with liver cirrhosis hospitalized in Department of Gastroenterology of Shanxi Provincial People's Hospital between June 2021 and June 2022 were included. Common measurements in liver cirrhosis and abdominal CT scans of all patients were collected. The cross-sectional area of skeletal muscle at L3 level was calculated by sliceomatic and the skeletal muscle index (SMI) was subsequently obtained by height standardization. The patients were divided into sarcopenia group and non-sarcopenia group using Asian cut-off per European Working Group on Sarcopenia in Older People-2nd meeting (EWGSOP2) criteria. Risk factors related to sarcopenia in cirrhosis were analyzed and a subsequent diagnosis model was established. Results:among the cirrhotic patients included in the study, the prevalence of sarcopenia was 65.75% (48/73), 47.73% (21/44) in males and 93.10% (27/29) in females, respectively. There were significant differences in age, sex, BMI, liver function grade per Child Pugh classification, etiology, ferritin level, prothrombin time and hemoglobin level between sarcopenia and non-sarcopenia groups (P < 0.05). Age, liver function, sex and ferritin level were closely related to the occurrence of sarcopenia in cirrhosis. A diagnostic model was developed based on these 4 indexes and the area under curve reached up to 95.7%.Conclusion:≥ 60 years old, female, Child-Pugh C grade and ferritin < 29.60 μg/L are independent risk factors for sarcopenia in cirrhosis and the model with these indexes shows good diagnostic value for sarcopenia in cirrhosis.

Objective: To investigate the function of CIK (cytokine induced killer) cells cultured using ATG-F (anti-human T lymphocyte rabbit immunoglobulin-Fresenius) and IFN- γ, IL-2 system and its feasibility in clinical practice. Methods: Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were isolated from healthy donors and were used to culture CIK cells by different activating antibodies; the total cell count was calculated on Day 7 and 14. The CIK cell composition, cell surface activation and proportion of inhibitory receptor molecular in ATG-F group, CD3 group and TG (Thymoglobulin) group were analyzed by Flow cytometry, and the cytotoxicity of CIK cells against K562 cells were also determined by flow cytometry at day 14 in ATG-F high-dose group, CD3 group and TG group. Results: CIK cells were successfully cultured by ATG-F, IFN-γ, IL-2 system. The proliferation rate of ATGF high-dose group was significantly higher than that in TG group (27.25±1.25 vs 16.60±1.72, P <0.01), but the proportion of CD3+ CD56+ cells showed no statistical difference compare with the CD3 group ( P >0.05). The percentage of CD3-CD56+ NK cells in ATG-F high-dose group was significantly higher than that in TG group and CD3 group [(11.19±2.60)% vs(5.66±1.00)%,(1.42± 0.51)% , P <0.01], while the proportion of CD4+T cells was significantly lower than that in CD3, TG group [(4.35±1.47)% vs (26.88±5.01)%,(14.52±6.22)%, P <0.01]; the proportion of CD56+CD94+, CD56+CD158a+, CD56+CD158b cells was significantly higher than those in CD3 group (all P <0.01). The ATG-F high does group showed significantly higher cytotoxicity against K562 cells than that of CD3 group at the target/effect ratio of 1∶10. Conclusion: CIK cells cultured by ATG-F culture system has higher NK cell proportion than other ordinary culture system, and its activated receptor has more stronger cytotoxicity against K562 cells.

Since December 2019, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2) infections have raged globally for more than 2 years.China has always adopted scientific and effective prevention and control measures to achieved some success. However, with the continuous variation of SARS-CoV-2 cases and imported cases from abroad, the prevention and control work has become more difficult and complex. With the variation of the mutant strain, the number of cases in children changed, and some new special symptoms and complications were found, which proposed a new topic for the prevention and treatment of SARS-CoV-2 infection in children in China.Based on the third edition, the present consensus according to the characteristics of the new strain, expounded the etiology, pathology, pathogenesis, and according to the clinical characteristics and experience of children′s cases, and puts forward recommendations on the diagnostic criteria, laboratory examination, treatment, prevention and control of children′s cases for providing reference for further guidance of effective prevention and treatment of SARS-CoV-2 infection in children in China.
