Objective To establish a HPLC method to determine the content of chlorogenic acid in Fructus Chaenomelis and its wine processing products.Methods Separation column was Agilent SB-C18(4.6mm?250mm,5?m) with the column temperature of 25℃.The mobile phase composition was methonal-1%HAc (80:20). The mobile speed was 1.0ml/min.The UV detection wavelength was 326 nm. Results A good linearity was obtained in the range of 5.47～71.14?g/ml,with r=0.9999. The average recovery was 101.98%,and RSD was 2.08% (n=6). Conclusion The content of chlorogenic acid was vary with the producing area of Fructus Chaenomelis.After wine processing,the content of chlorogenic acid was raised.The method was good for determining chlorogenic acid in Fructus Chaenomelis.

Objective To investigate the role of HLA class II antigen of human monocytes in pathogenesis of herpes simplex virus-2 (HSV-2) infection. Methods Human monocytes were infected by HSV-2 (333 Strain). The cultured cells were collected at the first, third, 5th, and 7th days of post-infection. The expression of HLA class II antigen of the infected monocytes was measured by alkaline phosphotase anti-alkaline phosphotase method (APAAP). Results The expression of HLA class II antigen on the monocytes significantly decreased at the first day of post-infection,and then gradually increased and reached to the normal control level at the 7th day of post-infection. Conclusion HLA class Ⅱ antigen expression of monocytes was inhibited by HSV-2 infection at early stage, which may be one of means of virus escaping host immunity. The expression of HLA class Ⅱ antigen may play an important role in HSV-2 pathogenicity and immunity.

Objective To study the ultrastructure of the anterior cruciate ligament.Methods Specimens were procured from seven patients with arthroscopy and observed under scanning and transmission electron microscope. Results Fibrils of normal anterior cruciate ligament arrayed in compact parallel form with waviness.Connecting fibers existed between fibrils.Diameters of fibrils were different with range of 30nm to 60nm mostly.Fibroblasts were distributed along with the fibrils.Active cells excrete filamentous collagen fibrils.Conclusion The ultrastructure of the anterior cruciate ligament was correlated with its function status.Mature fibroblasts existed in the ligament.

Objective To investigate the association of ILK expression in human renal interstitium and the pathological injury of renal interstitium in the patients with chronic nephropathy.Methods The expressions of ILK,TGF?1,E-cadherin and fibronectin(FN) in renal tissue were investigated with immunohistochemistry and computer image analysis system in 49 patients with chronic kidney disease.According to the score of the renal interstitial pathologic injury,49 patients were divided into four groups: 4 in no injury group(the normal control group),17 in slight injury group,16 in mild injury group,12 in severe injury group.Results ILK was hardly detected in normal control group,and ILK was observed in tubulointerstitial area in 3 injury groups.The expression of ILK was prominent in tubular epithelial cells,next in the damaged tubulointerstitial area.A significant positive correlation was found between the expression of ILK in renal interstitial tissue and the degree of renal tubulointerstitial pathological injury(r=0.736),as well as that of TGF?1(P

Objective To analyze the differential expressions of miR-146a,miR-206,miR-223 and let-7c-1,such as cell differentiation-related miRNAs,in CXCR4-positive and CXCR4-negative subsets of the Lewis lung cancer cell lines(LLC).Methods CXCR4-positive and CXCR4-negative subsets were isolated from LLC by immunomagnetic beads sorting,and then their total cellular RNA were extracted by Trizol,expression of 4 miRNAs were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(TaqMan probe),and potential target genes of miRNA whose differential expression was the most significant were predicted.Immunohistochemistry was carried out to confirm differential expression of the key molecule of certain research value within CXCR4-positive and CXCR4-negative subsets growing tumor tissue,and a BLAST search was performed to identify homologies of its 3′UTR.Results Compared to CXCR4-negative subsets,the expression of 4 miRNAs were lower in CXCR4-positive subsets,and expression of miR-223 had the most significant difference(Fold change=8.26).By softwares forecasting,miR-223 had potential target sites of IGF1R,IGFBP5,Pik3cb,ELK-1 and E2F1 mRNA,such as key molecular of IGF1R signaling pathway.The expression of IGF1R of CXCR4-positive subsets growing tumor tissue was significantly higher than that of CXCR4-negative subsets.Conclusion miR-223 is lowly expressed in CXCR4 positive cells from Lewis lung carcinoma cell lines.Position 238～244 nt and 688～695 nt in target sequences of 3′UTR of IGF1R mRNA was highly homologous by screening.Close correlation is found between miR-223 and IGF1R signaling pathway.The mechanisms underlying this biologically important finding need to be further explored.

Objective To explore the effect of psychological intervention on the mental conditions and the quality of life of patients with radiation encephalopathy(REP).Methods thirty-five patients with REP from radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma were divided into the control group(n=17)and the experiment group(n=18)according to their registration sequence. The control group was managed with conventional nursing,and the experiment group with individualized psychological intervention in addition to routine nursing for 12 weeks.The two groups were compared in terms of depression and quality of life by Hamilton Depression rating Scale(HAMD)and The short-form health survey questionnaire(SF-36).Results The two groups before treatment showed no statistical difference in scores by HAMD and SF-36(P>0.05).The experiment group was superior to the control group after intervention in depression and quality of life(P<0.01).Conclusion Psychological intervention may alleviate REP in the patients at poor psychological status and improve their quality of life.

Objective To explore the imaging features of breast cancer by CR mammography,in order to improve the diagnostic level. Methods The CR mamographic features of 37 patients with breast cancer confirmed surgically and pathologically were analysed retrospectively. Results In the 37 cases of breast cancer,the following abnormal signs were found in CR mammograms: mass(n=29),without mass(n=8),calcification(n=15),abnormal vascularity(n=7),inverted nipple(n=6),thickened skin(n=3),sign of tower's tine(n=3),sign of funnel(n=1),focal structural disorder and small focus of increased density(n=3). Conclusion The masses and calcificationsare the main radiological features in breast cancer,CR mammography may show the characteristics of breast cancer,it is one of the mosteffective means in diagnosis of breast cancer.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Na Zhi method (midnight-noon ebb-flow method) plus electroacupuncture in treating poststroke uninhibited neurogenic bladder.Method A total of 120 patients with uninhibited neurogenic bladder due to cerebrovascular diseases were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 60 cases in each group. The treatment group was intervened by Na Zhi method plus electroacupuncture; the control group was intervened by electroacupuncture. The intervention was conducted once a day, 30 min each time, for a total of 2 weeks. The daily voiding frequency index and maximum cystometric capacity (MCC) in the two groups were measured before and after the intervention, and the clinical efficacies were compared.Result The total effective rate and markedly effective rate were respectively 98.2% and 89.5% in the treatment group versus 93.1% and 72.4% in the control group. There was a significant difference in comparing the markedly effective rate between the two groups (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in comparing the daily voiding frequency index between the two groups before the intervention (P>0.05); the daily voiding frequency index was significantly changed after the intervention in both groups (P<0.01), and the daily voiding frequency index of the treatment group was significantly different from that of the control group after the intervention (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in comparing the MCC before the intervention between the two groups (P>0.05); the MCC was significantly changed after the intervention in both groups (P<0.01); the MCC of the treatment group was significantly different from that of the control group after the intervention (P<0.05).Conclusion Electroacupuncture can produce a significant efficacy in treating uninhibitedneurogenic bladder, while it can produce a more significant efficacy when combined withNa Zhi method.
