Objective To investigate the relative molecular weight of polysaccharides in Bletilla striata by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionizatior/time-of-flight mass (MALDI-TOF-MS). Methods 2, 5-Dihydroxybenzoic acid (DHB) as a matrix was used. By drop drying at room temperature the proportion of the matrix and polysaccharide sample was 1.5∶1. Baseline mode and laser intensity at 1 500-2 500 units were carried out. Results The relative molecular weights of polysaccharides in B. striata were 6?104-3?105, whose distribution rang was wide. Conclusion The relative molecular weights of polysaccharides in B. striata are obtained by MALDI-TOF-MS technique in the proportion of DHB-polysaccharides in B. striata 1.5∶1, which is valuable for the preparation and good quality by the direct drop drying method.

Objective To explore the factors influencing postoperative function of elbow in adults with C-type fracture of distal humerus. Methods From March 2005 to June 2009,23 patients with C-type fracture of distal humerus were treated with open reduction and internal fixation. The function of the elbow was evaluated with Mayo elbow performance index.Related factors such as age, fracture classification, internal fixation method and initial time of postoperative rehabilitation were analyzed with Logistic regression model. Results The followed up time was 8 -36 (18.3 ± 2.1 ) months, the results demonstrated 6 excellent,8 good,4 fair and 5 poor, the excellent and good rate was 60.9%( 14/23 ).The excellent and good rate in the age ≤40 years old and >40 years old were 61.5%(8/13) and 60.0%(6/10)(P>0.05);in C1,C2,C3 type fractures were 77.8% (7/9),62.5% (5/8),50.0% (3/6) respectively (P < 0.05 );in plate patients and in Kirschner patients were 75.0% (9/12) and 54.5% (6/11)(P < 0.05);in postoperative functional exercise ≤3 weeks and > 3 weeks were 71.4%(10/14) and 55.6%(5/9 )(P< 0.05 ).Conclusions The fracture classification, internal fixation method and the initial time of postoperative rehabitation affect the functional restoration of distal fracture of humerus, and proper stable fixation with early suitable exercises according to the fracture classification will help improve the functional restoration.

Objective To investigate the benefit of inferior vena cava filter on the treatment of deep vein thrombosis(DVT) and pulmonary embolism. Methods From January 2009 to September 2011,of the 115 patients with DVT,27 cases were treated by VCF under DSA,followed by thrombolysis and anticoagulation. Results All the cases were.successfully implanted with VCF and limb detumescence was achieved after thrombolysis and anticoagulation treatment without complications. Conclusion The implantation of inferior vena cava filter combined with thrombolysis and anticoagulation is favorable and safe to treat deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, and it is also effective to prevent PE in patients with deep venous thrombosis in the low extremity.

Objective To investigate Aβ42 and P-tau levels in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Methods CSF of 25 cases of MCI and 14 cases of cognitively normal (CN) were investigated. The CSF levels of Aβ42 and P-tau were detected by ELISA method. Correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between P-tau level and MMSE score in MCI. Results The CSF level of Aβ 42 was higher and P-tau was lower in MCI than CN group(P<0.05). P-tau level in MCI was also negatively correlated with MMSE score (P<0.05). Conclusion Aβ42 and P-tau levels in CSF may be valuable biological markers in the diagnosis of MCI. P-tau level in CSF of MCI may be related to the severity of cognitive impairment.
