Objective:To construct a nursing intervention program based on dyadic coping theory for patients with spinal cord injury (SCI) and their spouses, and to explore the effects of the program on improving their coping abilities and quality of life. Methods:The nursing intervention program was developed through literature review, expert panel discussions, and the Delphi method, guided by dyadic coping theory. Using convenience sampling, 90 pairs of patients with SCI and their spouses who underwent surgery in the Department of Orthopedics at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University from January to August 2023 were selected. Participants were randomly divided into control group ( n=46) and observation group ( n=44). The control group received standard nursing care, while the observation group received the dyadic coping-based nursing intervention program in addition to standard care for three months. Both groups were assessed at admission and three months post-intervention using the Dyadic Coping Inventory (DCI), WHO Quality of Life-BREF (WHOQOL-BREF), and Family Adaptability and Cohesion Evaluation Scale (FACESⅡ) . Results:After three months, the DCI scores for patients and spouses in the observation group were (117.80±0.88) and (121.50±3.29), respectively. The WHOQOL-BREF scores for the patients and spouses were (80.50±1.77) and (81.09±1.58), respectively. The FACESⅡ scores for the patients were (65.70±0.95) and (48.68±1.03), respectively, and for their spouses were (67.02±0.88) and (49.55±1.27), respectively. All scores were significantly higher in the observation group compared to the control group ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:The nursing intervention program based on dyadic coping theory effectively improves the dyadic coping abilities, quality of life, and family functioning of patients with SCI and their spouses.

Objective:To investigate the current status of social support, readiness for discharge, and loneliness in elderly patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 (T2DM) and the relationship among them. Methods:A total of 230 elderly T2DM patients treated in the Endocrinology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University from April to October 2022 were selected as research objects by the convenient sampling method. Patients were surveyed using a general information questionnaire, Readiness for Discharge Scale, Perceived Social Support Scale and UCLA Loneliness Scale. The Spearman correlation analysis was used to investigate the correlation between social support, loneliness and discharge readiness in elderly T2DM patients. Model 4 in SPSS Process 4.0 software was used to examine the mediating effects of discharge readiness, social support and loneliness in elderly patients with T2DM. A total of 230 questionnaires were sent out and 222 were effectively received, with effective recovery of 96.5% (222/230) .Results:The total scores of Readiness for Discharge Scale, Perceived Social Support Scale and UCLA Loneliness Scale in 222 elderly T2DM patients were 104.00 (91.00, 113.00), 65.00 (57.50, 72.00) and 36.50 (26.00, 44.25), respectively. Spearman correlation analysis showed that social support was positively correlated with discharge readiness ( r=0.448, P<0.05), and loneliness was negatively correlated with social support and readiness for discharge ( r=-0.563, -0.512, P<0.05). The mediating effect analysis showed that loneliness played a partial mediating role between social support and hospital readiness, with an effect ratio of 42.8%. Conclusions:Clinical medical staff should pay attention to the psychological state of patients, alleviate the loneliness of elderly T2DM patients, improve the level of social support, so as to improve the readiness of patients for discharge and increase the self-management ability of elderly diabetes mellitus type 2 patients after discharge.

Objective:To explore the mediating effect and masking effect of creative self-efficacy on emotion regulation and procrastination behavior of nursing undergraduates, to provide a reference for the cultivation of creative self-efficacy of nursing undergraduates and improvement of their competence in innovative tasks. Methods:From May to June 2018, a total of 550 nursing undergraduates from a medical university in Hefei were surveyed by cluster sampling method, using general data questionnaire, Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, Creative Self-efficacy Scale for College Students and General Procrastination Scale. A total of 550 questionnaires were issued in this study and 509 valid questionnaires were finally recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 92.55%.Results:The procrastination behavior of nursing undergraduates was negatively correlated with emotion regulation and cognitive reappraisal ( P<0.01) , and positively correlated with expression suppression ( P<0.01) . Procrastination behavior was negatively correlated with creative efficacy and its dimensions ( P<0.01) . Emotion regulation and its dimensions were positively correlated with creative efficacy ( P<0.01) . The creative efficacy of nursing undergraduates played a part of the mediating role between cognitive reappraisal and procrastination behavior, and the indirect effect of creative self-efficacy between expression suppression and procrastination behavior was shown as a masking effect. Conclusions:Cognitive reappraisal or expression suppression can indirectly affect procrastination behavior through creative self-efficacy. Nursing educators can enhance students' innovation efficacy by increasing the self-recognition of nursing students and opening innovative training courses online or offline.

Objective:To explore the mediating effect of positive psychological capital on achievement motivation and procrastination behavior of nursing undergraduates and the moderating effect of positive perfectionism on mediation. Methods:Using the cluster sampling method, a total of 550 nursing undergraduates from the 1st to 4th grades of School of Nursing of a medical university were selected as research objects from May to June 2018. General information questionnaire, Achievement Motivation Scale (AMS) , Positive Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PPQ) , positive perfectionism dimension of Frost Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale and General Procrastination Scale (GPS) were used for investigation. PROCESS software was used for moderated mediation effect analysis. Results:A total of 550 questionnaires were issued and 509 valid questionnaires were finally recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 92.55%. The GPS score of 509 nursing undergraduates was (55.08±8.18) , AMS score was (-0.03±6.02) , PPQ score was (4.35±0.70) and score of positive perfectionism dimension was (17.26±4.69) . Achievement motivation, positive psychological capital and positive perfectionism were all negatively correlated with procrastination behavior ( r=-0.245, -0.415, -0.357; P<0.01) . Positive psychological capital played a partial mediating role between achievement motivation and procrastination behavior, and the mediating effect accounted for 42.31% of the total effect. Positive perfectionism had a moderating effect on the second half of the mediating pathway of positive psychological capital ( P< 0.05) . Conclusions:The procrastination behavior of nursing undergraduates is at the middle level. Achievement motivation can influence procrastination behavior through positive psychological capital and positive perfectionism regulates the relationship between positive psychological capital and procrastination behavior.
