Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2005;9(19):198-200
BACKGROUND: The rehabilitation treatment for acute myocardial infarction has started since 1980' s, but it has not been popularized yet in municipal hospitals due to limited conditions.OBJECTIVE: To probe into the possibility of 3-week rehabilitation intervention in patients with acute myocardial infarction implemented in municipal hospitals.DESIGN: Controlled retrospective analysis was designed.SETTING: Department of Cardiology of YingKou Center Hospital.PARTICIPANTS: Sixty cases of acute myocardial infarction were collected in Department of Cardiology of Center Hospital in Yingkou City in 1996 and they were taken as experimental group. Totally 58 cases of acute myocardial infarction hospitalized in 1986 were taken as the control. In experimental group, 44 cases were males and 16 cases females, aged varied from 34 to 79 years; of which, 45 cases were diagnosed as cardiac dysfunction and cardiac arrhythmia. The situation in the control was near basically to that in experimental group. During the intervention, in experimental group, 10 cases presented chest oppression, 3 cases were afraid to accept the intervention; but by monitoring and explanation, all of those accomplished the experiment.METHODS: In the control, only rational clinical management was given. In experimental group, at the same time of clinical management implemented, the rehabilitation treatment for 3 weeks was carried out for patients with acute myocardial infarction, aiming to earlier movement, earlier getting up, earlier discharge. The rehabilitation procedure stood by gradually increased exercise amount and individualization and it was adjusted according to age, situation of sickness and psychological state, etc. For instance, if the signs of over-endurance presented, the exercise would stop temporarily or the exercise intensity be reduced.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Comparisons of exercise endurance, recovery time of exercise and hospitalizing time in 3 weeks of two groups.RESULTS: The patients in experimental group all accomplished 3-week rehabilitation intervention. In experimental group, the cases, in which, the exercise endurance was up to 5 to 6 equivalents 3 weeks after acute myocardial infarction, were more than the control (78%, 12%, P < 0.05). The cases that were able to go up-down stairs were more than the control(83%, 7%, P< 0.05) . The cases hospitalized < 3 weeks were more than the control (78%, 10%, P <0.05).CONCLUSION: It is practical and safe to carry on rehabilitation procedure for acute myocardial infarction in municipal hospital. Rehabilitation exercise at the early stage accelerates remarkably the recovery of acute myocardial infarction.

Indoor microbial contamination of the buildings and the related health impacts has been more and more concerned by the public. The indoor microbial contaminants contain bacteria, virus, fungus, dust mites, pollen and so on,and the source is diversity. Many studies at home and abroad have found that the microbial contaminants in different kinds of the buildings like the public places, schools, living rooms and so on are very popular, sometimes quite high level.Indoor microbial contamination can cause adverse impact on health of the exposed population, such as some infectious diseases, allergenic symptoms/diseases,even cancers.

Objective To know the microbial pollution in the indoor air of classrooms and dormitories in a university and analyze the possible impact factors. Methods In April and May,2007,the indoor air sampling was conducted and the total count of air microbe in indoors was determined in eight classrooms and twenty dormitories by the impacting method. Results According to the related national hygienic standard of China, the total count of air microbe in all classrooms was qualified, the total count of air microbe in the dormitories was all qualified, but it was higher in male's dormitories compared with female's.Conclusion In general, there was not obviously indoor microbial pollution in the investigated university.

Objective:To explore the prevalence of gout and related factors in community population, thereby provide evidence for comprehensive prevention and control of gout in community. Methods:A stratified multi-stage cluster sampling was used to survey the permanent residents of 20 to 75 years old in the 3 selected streets (towns), univariate analysis was performed using logistic regression by SPSS statistical software. Results:The prevalences of hyperuricemia and gout were 9.82% and 5.75% respectively(male 18.88% and 7.94%, female 3.79% and 4.29%)in Jiading Shanghai. The positive rate of family history was 17.13%, and the relationship between family history and gout was significant( OR=3.140, 95% CI 2.365-4.169, P<0.01). Age( OR=1.034, 95% CI 1.021-1.047), body mass index ( OR=1.102, 95% CI 1.074-1.131), waist-hip ratio ( OR=4.876, 95% CI 1.153-20.622), sleep quality ( OR=1.310, 95% CI 1.159-1.480), other animal meat ( OR=1.117, 95% CI 1.007-1.240), fresh water fish ( OR=1.138, 95% CI 1.005-1.288), and processed meat ( OR=1.145, 95% CI 1.033-1.270) were closely related to gout ( P<0.05 or P<0.01). Sex, alcohol drinking, marine fish, and soybean milk/soymilk were related to gout ( P<0.05 or P<0.01), but showed a protective effect ( OR<1.000). Conclusion:Reducing uric acid production through less consumption of purine-rich food such as animal meat as well as processed meat and weight control would be helpful in preventing gout.

Objective:To analyze the dosage distribution and the frequency of each dosage of high-risk tablets in the hospitalized patients in a children's hospital, and study whether the existing specifications of high-risk tablets meet the pediatrics clinical needs. Methods:All the prescriptions including high risk tablets were analyzed from 2014 to 2016 in Shanghai children's medical center. The frequency of every dosage of every drug was analyzed, and the current specifications were judged according to the frequency. New specifications were proposed when the existing specifications did not match the clinical needs. The new frequency of the proposed speci-fications was re-accounted for all the three-year prescriptions in order to evaluate whether the proposed new specifications met the clini-cal needs. Results:Among the five kinds of high-risk oral tablets, methotrexate tablets and vitamin A acid tablets were in accordance with the actual clinical requirements. Mercaptopurine tablets should add two specifications including 12.5 mg and 17 mg,and warfarin sodium tablets should add one specification(1.25 mg). Hydroxyurea tablets(250 mg) and warfarin sodium tablets(1 mg) were rec-ommended used in the children's hospital. Conclusion:The existing specifications of high-risk oral tablets can't fully meet the clini-cal needs, therefore, specifications still needs to be adjusted.
