1.Analysis of Irrational Prescriptions in Outpatient and Emergency Departments in2003
China Pharmacy 1991;0(03):-
OBJECTIVE:To promote safe, effective, economical and proper medication.METHODS:Prescriptions in the outpatient and emergency departments of our hospital in2003were randomly selected;the irrational prescriptions were ana?lyzed with regard to drug descriptions, pharmacological knowledge and literatures.RESULTS:The irrational one amounted to4.92%of the total selected prescriptions;antibiotics drug abuses amounted to84.12%of the irrational ones. The irrational drug use problems were mainly seen in administration scheme, repeated dosage, menstruum, administration, drug combina?tion, compatibility and combined toxicity.CONCLUSIONS:Clinical pharmacist plays an important role in promoting rational drug use by checking prescriptions.

Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(06):-
Using subcellular membrane fractions isolated from smooth muscles of dog mesenteric arteries and veins, we compared their enzymatic activities, Ca2+ bindind and Ca2+ transport. The micro-somal (MIC)and plasma membrane(F2) fractions were similarly enriched 4-5 and 10-12 fold respectively in the plasma membrane marker enzymes over the starting membrane mixture. However, MIC and F2 fractions from venous smooth muscle showed higher Mg2+-ATPase activity, slightly increased Ca2+ binding and reduced Ca2+-transport compared to the corresponding fractions from arteries.

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of the transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) reserving anterior lobe of the prostate .Methods A total of 736 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH ) patients from Guizhou Aerospace Hospital were averagely randomly divided into the observation group and control group .Control group was treated with traditional TURP with the anterior lobe reseated ;while observation group was treated with the similar method to the control group ,but retained the anterior lobe .The clinical therapeutic effects and postoperative complications were observed .Results The maximum flow rate ,re-sidual urine volume and the international prostate symptom score in observation group did not show any statistical significance com -pared with that in control group after surgery (P> 0 .05) .The prevalence rate of temporary incontinence in observation group (1 .09% ) was lower than that in control group(5 .16% ) ,with significant difference(P<0 .05) .The prevalence rate of permanent incontinence in observation group(0 .27% ) was similar to that in control the group(0 .54% ) ,with no significant difference(P>0 .05) .Conclusion TURP reserving the anterior lobe can effectively reduce the incidence of temporary urinary incontinence ,there-fore ,this method could be spread in the clinical practice .

OBJECTIVE:To established a method for determining matrine and oxymatrine in human plasma.METHODS:The plasma was extracted with chloroform-n-butyl alcohol(98∶2) after basification and purified with neutral alumina solid-phase extraction. Then it was eluted with a Lichrosorb-NH2 column and CH3CN-CH3CH2OH-H3PO4(80∶10∶8),detected at ? 220nm.RESULTS:The linear range was 1.25mg~40mg/L and the limit of detection was 0.1mg/L(S/N=2).The average recoveries of matrine and oxymatrine were 106.96% and 105.04%,respectively.RSDs of within-day and between-day were lower than 13% and 7% respectively.CONCLUSION:The present study provides a simple and reliable method for determining concentrations of matrine and oxymatrine in human plasma.
