1.Effects of ACEI on the expression of ACE and ERK and the changes of atrial fibrosis in patients with atrial fibrillation
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 1986;0(02):-
Objective:To study the expression of angiotensin-converting enzyme(ACE),extracellular signal-regulated kinase(ERK),and the changes of atrial fibrosis in patients with rheumatic heart disease(RHD) and atrial fibrillation(AF) treated with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor(ACEI).Methods:Atrial tissues were obtained from the right appendage during open surgery in 35 patients with RHD.The mRNA of ACE and ERK2 were semi-qualified by reverse transcription-ploymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) and normalized to the glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase(GAPDH).Western blotting analysis was employed to examine the expressions of ACE and phosphorylated ERK(pERK).Atrial collagen volume fraction(CVF) was detected by Masson's stain. Results:The mRNA of ACE and ERK2 or the protein of ACE and pERK were significantly increased, and CVF was significantly increased in patients with chronic atrial fibrillation(CAF) compared with sinus rhythm group(SR)( P 0.05).Conclusion:The expressions of ACE,ERK2 and pERK increase, and fibrosis is more severe in RHD patients with CAF as compared with those with SR.Compared with CAF patients treated without ACEI,the expressions of ERK2 and pERK significantly decrease( P 0.05)in CAF patients treated with ACEI.This suggests that the increasing expression of ERK2 and pERK resulting from local renal angiotensin-converting enzyme system activation mediates the development of atrial fibrosis, and ACEI may contribute to lesser atrial fibrosis in RHD patients with AF.

Tianjin Medical Journal 2017;45(5):548-552
According to the sera aquaporin-4 antibody (AQP4), neuromyelitis optica (NMO) can be classified into two types as AQP4 antibody positive (AQP4+) and negative (AQP4-). However, the NMO patients with AQP4- are prone to delayed treatment, and may have a different pathogenesis compared to that in patients with AQP4+. Scientific researches and the clinical trials on NMO with AQP4- will deepen the understanding of NMO pathogenesis and help to make an early accurate diagnosis and rational therapy for NMO with AQP4-. This review aims to summarize the progress in clinic diagnosis for NMO patients with AQP4-.

Tianjin Medical Journal 2016;44(7):921-924,925
Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a progressive disorder characterized by abnormally elevated blood pressure of the pulmonary circulation. PH progresses rapidly to right ventricular (RV) failure and even death without treatment. Cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) is an accurate and reproducible tool for the assessment of RV morphology and function, which plays an important role in the prognosis of patients with PH. The aim of this study is to review the clinical application and research progress of CMR in evaluation of PH.
4.Classification and characteristic of the acupuncture medical literature during the period of the Republic of China.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2015;35(7):731-736
The acupuncture medical literature during the Republic of China is divided into four categories, including theoretical literature, acupuncture channels and acupoints drawing literature, translations, and teaching materials and medical cases. It is found that the theoretical literature focuses on inheriting the traditional theories as well as combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine. The drawings are becoming more and more precise, and in these drawing works anatomy begins to appear at that time. Translations are the achievements of communication between TCM and Western medicine, which promote the scientization of acupuncture greatly. Teaching materials are also influenced by Western medicine, presenting a rough frame of modern acupuncture disciplinary system. As important clinic data, medical cases have great clinical value. Overall, acupuncture medical literature during the Republic of China is widely published, which is influenced greatly by the Western medicine and presents a significant tendency of scientization.

5.The application and observation of nitrous oxide inhalation in maxillofacial surgery
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2015;(5):710-712
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of nitrous oxide inhalation in oral and maxillofacial surgery.Methods:1 80 pa-tients underwent maxillofacial surgery were randomly divided into 2 groups(n =90).The patients in group A were given nitrous oxide inhalation before surgery, those in group B were served as the controls. The blood pressure(BP),heart rate(HR)and oxygen saturation of blood(SpO2 )were monitored during surgery, the feelings of the patients for surgical procedures, pain VAS score and Houpt behavior rating scale were surveyed after surgery. Results:In the whole operation process,BP,HR and SpO2 of group A changed smoothly(P >0.05),BP and HR of group B increased during operation(P <0.05),SpO2 had no obvious change(P >0.05);Frankl treatment adher-ence score in group A and B was 3.66 ±0.05 and 2.91 ±0.05 respectively(P <0.05);Houpt behavior rating scale were 5.06 ±0.1 1 and 3.29 ±0.06 respectively(P <0.05).VAS score in group A was lower than that in group B(P <0.05).Mild adverse reaction was observed in 6 cases in group A.Conclusion:In the process of maxillofacial surgery, nitrous oxide inhalation has sedation, analgesia and anti-anxiety effects without severe adverse effect.
6.Rituximab combined with autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for therapy of CD_(20),positive B-cell lymphoma
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2009;18(12):766-768
Autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(AHSCT) has a good curative effect for high-risk or middle-risk aggressive lymphoma, but some patients who receive AHSCT still died of recurrence. The main reason for this is the presence of minimal residual disease (MRD), including residual tumor cells in vivo and contamination of grafts with tumor cells.Rituximab can be targeted to remove CD_(20) positive B cells,so application of rituximab before and after AHSCT may play a role in removal of residual disease and in vivo purging.Bituximab combined with AHSCT may further enhance the curative effect for CD_(20) positive B cell lymphoma.
7.Effect of 5-Aza-CdR on RUNX3 expression and the proliferation of human hepatocarcinoma cell line HepG2
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(03):-
Objective To investingate the effect of 5-Aza2'-deoxycytidine(5-Aza-CdR)on cell growth and to explore the possibility of re-expression of the hypermethylated and silenced RUNX3 gene in hepatocarcinoma cell line HepG2.Methods The change in expression of the tumor suppressor gene RUNX3 mRNA in cultured HepG2 cells was observed by RT-PCR before and after 5-Aza-CdR treatment.Activity of cell growth was observed by MTT assay and colony-forming test. The cell cycle was analyzed by flow cytometry.Apoptotic morphology was observed by transmitting electron microscopy. Results The gene was reactivated by two different doses of 5-Aza-CdR treatment in HepG2 cell without expressing RUNX3.The hepatocarcinoma cell line treated with 5-Aza-CdR displayed a slowed growth rate in contrast to the control group. The colony formation rate of HepG2 cell treated with 5-Aza-CdR decreased dramatically(P
8.Role of TRAF2 in AP-1 signaling pathway of human B cells
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(05):-
Objective To investigate the role of TRAF2 in AP-1 signaling pathway of human B cells. Methods Human Ramos B cells were transfected with plasmids expressing YFP fusion wild type TRAF2(YFP-WT-TRAF2) or YFP fusion dominant-negative TRAF2(DN-TRAF2),or transfected with shRNA-TRAF2 and control shRNA plasmid. After incubation overnight, cells were either sorted with flowcytometry or screened by antibiotics G418.Activation of AP-1 pathway, including phosphorylation of ERK,JNK and P38,as well as nuclear translocation of AP-1 subunits were detected by western blot and ELISA.Results Overexpression of WT-TRAF2 selectively induced activition of MAPK by phosphorylation of ERK and P38,and further induced nuclear translocation of C-FOS.Moreover,both overexpression of DN-TRAF2 and transfection of shRNA-TRAF2 inhibited phosphorylation of ERK and P38,and nuclear translocation of C-FOS.Conclusion TRAF2 selectively activates some kinases in CD40 mediated AP-1 signaling pathway, and plays an important role in AP-1 activation.
