OBJECTIVE: To study the protective effects of nimesulide, a COX- 2 selective inhibitor on experimental gastric ulcer in rats. METHODS: The gastric ulcer model was established in rats by intragastric administration them with indometacin, 5 min later, which were assigned to receive nimesulide at different dosages ( 200, 100, and 50mg? kg- 1) , 6h later, all the rats were sacrificed. The primary outcome measures were the area of ulcer, levels of SOD, MDA, and GSH in sera and gastric mucosa. Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic value of MSCT for small intestinal stromal tumors.Methods: The MSCT results of 27 cases diagnosed pathologically as small intestinal stromal tumors were retrospectively analyzed.Results: MSCT scan could clearly show the position, size, shape, fat space, density, calcification, growth pattern of the lesions. Enhanced MSCT scan showed that the arterial phase was significantly strengthened, the venous phase was significantly enhanced than the arterial phase, and the delay phase was significantly enhanced than the venous phase. Low-risk tumors were mainly with maximum diameter <5 cm, regular shape, clear fat gap, uniform density, and intraluminal growth-oriented, while high-risk tumors were mainly with maximum diameter ≥5cm, irregular shape, blur fat gap, uneven density, and cavity shape and mixed growth. The differences were statistically significant (x2=6.64,P<0.05).Conclusion:MSCT can be used as a preliminary judgement for benign and malignant small intestinal stromal tumors and its level, which can guide further clinical treatment and prognosis evaluation.

Objective To discuss how to deal with the problems of LEEP electro-scalpel that are caused by the burn of negative electrode loose and the electric shock of leakage current.Methods The system's security was enhanced by insulation,power and software control and it was also evaluated.Results The electric leakage of LEEP electro-scalpel was acceptable and the preventive support of burn was effective.Conclusion It is proved by the synthetical evaluation that the device's secure design is reliable.

Objective:To investigate the distribution of serotonin 5-HT2A and 5-HT7 receptors in different motoneuron populations in spinal Onuf’s nucleus of male rats,and their relationship with the central modulation of the urogenital functions.Methods:Ten adult SD rats(eight male rats and two female rats)were randomly divided into gender control group(n=4,include two male and two female rats)and retrograde tracing group(male rats,n=6).In gender control group,after the spinal L5~6 segments were removed and cut,sections were treated with 5-HT2A or 5-HT7 receptors immunohistochemical stain.In retrograde tracing group,recombinant pseudorabies virus(PRV-152 )were injected into right ischiocavernosus muscles(IC group;n=3)or right external urethral sphincter(EUS group;n=3),respectively.Four days after injection,the L5~6 segments were removed,cut,and treated with 5-HT2A or 5-HT7 receptors double-labeling immunofluorescence stain.Sections were observed by light microscopy or the laser confocal microscopy to detect the distribution of 5-HT2A、5-HT7 receptors in Onuf’s nucleus.Results:5-HT2A receptors immunoreactivity mainly located in the medial part of the dorsolateral nucleus(DLN)of Onuf’s nucleus,and 5-HT7 receptors mainly located in the lateral part of the DLN;5-HT2A and 5-HT7 receptors expression of male rats in Onuf’s nucleus were more dense than female rats.Immunofluorescence double-labeling detection exhibited that 5-HT2A receptors mainly distributed in surrounding motoneurons innervating the IC muscles,and 5-HT7 receptors mainly expressed in neurons innervating the EUS.Conclusion:5-HT2A and 5-HT7 receptors are heterogeneously distributed in different motoneurons of Onuf’s nucleus innervating different striated muscles.5-HT2A receptor might be preferentially involved in regulation of the sexual reflex,and the 5-HT7 receptor may be mainly participated in the micturition reflex.

Objective:To investigate the clinical application of the panorama imaging of digital radiography(DR). Methods:2～3 images of spine or long bone were collected with amorphous silicon flat-panel detector DR system,thereupon the panorama images including whole spine and both sides of lower limbs were obtained by post-processing of mosaic technique. Results:The panorama images can not only show the whole spine and lower limbs on a single film, but also be used for measuring the length and the angle. Conclusion:The panorama imaging from digital radiography based on mosaic technique can meet the demand of clinical application.

Objective:To investigate the indications of half-ICSI and the value of half-ICSI to prevent fertilization failure. Methods:The indications of the cases in the group of fertilization failure(fertilization rate was 0%)or lower fertilization rate(fertilization rate less than 30%) were compared with those in the group(fertilization rate more than 65%). Results:The fertilization rate of IVF(in vitro fertilization) in the half-ICSI was lower than that of conventional IVF.
