1.Complexity analysis of gait signal based on Jensen-Shannon divergence.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(3):583-585
When people are walking, they will produce gait signals and different people will produce different gait signals. The research of the gait signal complexity is really of great significance for medicine. By calculating people's gait signal complexity, we can assess a person's health status and thus timely detect and diagnose diseases. In this study, the Jensen-Shannon divergence (JSD), the method of complexity analysis, was used to calculate the complexity of gait signal in the healthy elderly, healthy young people and patients with Parkinson's disease. Then we detected the experimental data by variance detection. The results showed that the difference among the complexity of the three gait signals was great. Through this research, we have got gait signal complexity range of patients with Parkinson's disease, the healthy elderly and healthy young people, respectively, which would provide an important basis for clinical diagnosis.

3.Analysis of sleep electroencephalograph signal based on detrended cross-correlation.
Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(1):44-47
The quality of sleep has a great relationship with health and working efficiency. The result of sleep stage classification is an important indicator to measure the quality of sleep, and it is also an important way to diagnose and treat sleep disorders. In this paper, the method of detrended cross-correlation analysis (DCCA) was used to analyze sleep stage classification, sleep electroencephalograph signals, which were extracted from the MIT-BIH Polysomno graphic Database randomly. The results showed that the average DCCA exponent of the awake period is smaller than that of the first stage of non-rapid eye movement (NREM) sleeps. It is well concluded that the method of studying the sleep electroencephalograph with this method is of great significance to improve the quality of sleep, to diagnose and to treat sleep disorders.

4.Effects of interleukin-18 and hypoxia-inducible factor-1α in serum and gingival tissues of rat model with periodontitis exposed to chronic intermittent hypoxia.
West China Journal of Stomatology 2015;33(4):383-387
OBJECTVEThis study evaluates the expression of interleukin-18 (IL-18) and hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF)-lα in rat periodontitis model exposed to normoxia and chronic intermittent hypoxia (CIH) environments. The possible correlation between periodontitis and obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) was also investigated. Methods: Thirty-two Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly assigned into four groups: normoxia control, normoxia periodontitis, hypoxia control, and hypoxia periodontitis groups. The periodontitis models were established by ligating the bilateral maxillary second molars and employing high-carbohydrate diets. Rats in hypoxia control and hypoxia periodontitis groups were exposed to CIH treatment mimicking a moderately severe OSAHS condition. All animals were sacrificed after eight weeks, and the clinical periodontal indexes were detected. The levels of IL-18 and HIF-1α in serum and gingival tissues were determined using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The correlation between attachment loss (AL) and the levels of IL-18 and HIF-lα in hypoxia periodontitis group was evaluated.
RESULTSThe levels of IL-18 and HIF-lα in hypoxia periodontitis group were significantly higher than that in normoxia periodontitis and hypoxia control groups (P<0.05). Furthermore, the levels of IL-18 and HIF-lα in serum (r-0.792, r=0.753, P<0.05) and gingival tissues (r-0.817, r=0.779, P<0.05) were positively correlated with AL.
CONCLUSIONCIH could aggravate the destruction of periodontal tissues, which is correlated with IL-18 and HIF-lα levels.

5.Research in application of timing-work schedule mode in human resource management in the outpatiet department of island hospital
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2009;25(8):61-63
Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of application of timing- work schedule mode in hu-man resource management according to the characteristc and work load of the outpatient department in island hospital. Methods General quality of care, nurses and patients' satisfaction degree were compared before and 12 months after the application of timing- work schedule. Results Total quality of care and nurses and pa- tients' satisfaction degree with nursing had statistical significance before and after the application of timing-work schedule mode. Conclusions To adoption of timing-work schedule mode in outpatient department in island hospital is feasible, it not only saves the nursing human resource, but also can guarantee the nursing quality and improve patients' satisfaction degree. So it is worthy of clinical application.

Journal of Chinese Physician 2001;0(10):-
Objective To explore the clinicophathological significance of expressions of c-myc,bcl-1 and apoptosis in the human cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma(SCC) canceration course. Methods The expressions of c-myc proteins,bcl-2 protein and apoptosis were detected in 80 cases of SCC by using TdT-mediated dUTP-biotin nick end labeling and immunohistochemical staining. Results The positive rates of c-myc and bc1-2 proteins were 62.5%,38.8% respectively,in SCC tissue(P
7.Calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase Ⅱ and its biologic function
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2000;0(10):-
Ca 2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase Ⅱ (CaMKⅡ) is a member of a family of Ca 2+/calmodulin-regulated protein kinases which also includes Ca 2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinases Ⅰ and Ⅲ, myosin light chain kinases and phosphorylase kinase. Unlike the other members of this family, CaMKⅡ is multifunctional protein kinase and distributes in a variety of tissues. It is especially abundant in neuronal system. In hippocampus, CaMKⅡ is about 2% of the total protein. Studies have shown that CaMKⅡ plays an important role in a variety of biological processes, such as regulation of gene transcription, synthesis of neurotransmitter, phosphorylation of cytoskeletonal protein, hippocampal learning and memory formation.
8.Tripchlorolide activates p-ERK and induces autophagy in lung cancer A549 cells
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 2016;32(9):1551-1555
AIM: To investigate the effects of tripchlorolide (TP) on proliferation and autophagy of human lung cancer A549 cells, and explore its mechanism.METHODS: MTT assay was performed to analyze the effect of TP on the viability of human lung cancer A549 cells. The A549 cells were treated with TP, and their autophagy was observed un-der the fluorescence microscope through acridine orange staining.Green fluorescence spots were observed by fluorescence microscopy through GFP-LC3 plasmid transfection experiment. The levels of LC3 and p-ERK in the A549 cells after TP treatment were determined by Western blot.RESULTS: The viability of human lung cancer A549 cells was significantly inhibited by TP in a dose-time dependent manner (P <0.05).The number of the intracellular acidic follicles dyed with bright red fluorescence was significantly increased after TP treatment in A549 cells. The number of green dot-like con-gregate autophagosomes in cell cytoplasm was significantly increased after TP treatment in the A549 cells transfected with GFP-LC3 plasmid, while the normal treatment only induced a few cells with autophagosome formation. At the same time, we did not observe the dot-like congregate autophagosomes after TP treatment in the A549 cells transfected with GFP-control plasmid.Compared with control group, the expression of LC3-II protein was up-regulated in A549 cells after TP treatment (P <0.01).Furthermore, treatment with TP in A549 cells for 48 h also led to a significant upregulation of phosphorylated form of ERK (P <0.01).In contrast, no significant change in the levels of total ERK protein was observed.Compared with 100 nmol/L TP group, TP +3-MA group down-regulated the protein levels of LC3-II (P <0.01) and p-ERK (P <0.01) in the A549 cells.CONCLUSION: TP significantly inhibits the growth of A549 lung cancer cells and induces the
autophagy, which may be correlated with upregulation of p-ERK protein.
