1.Looking for the ideal insulin regimens for Chinese T2DM patients——Clinical application and research advance of high-ratio premix insulin analogues
Chinese Journal of Diabetes 2017;25(3):285-288
Postprandial hyperglycemia is one of the characteristics of glucose profiles in Chinese T2DM patients. High-ratio premix insulin analogues with advantages of excellent pharmacokinetic characteristics and flexible and convenient administration provide a comprehensive solution for Chinese T2DM patients to effectively control postprandial glucose and reduce blood glucose fluctuation. This paper is a literature review on its clinical evidence and experience.
2.Diagnosis of atopic dermatitis: controversies and facts
Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2021;54(1):89-92
Atopic dermatitis is a common chronic recurrent atopic constitution-associated inflammatory skin disease mainly characterized by eczematous lesions and itching. Its etiology and pathogenesis are still not very clear, and there are many controversies about its origin, definition, clinical phenotypes and diagnostic criteria. This review analyzes and discusses these controversies in order to provide a meaningful reference for the diagnosis and treatment of atopic dermatitis.
3.Merchant Capital Influence on Market Price of Chinese Genuine Regional Herbs
World Science and Technology-Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2013;(8):1843-1846
Chinese genuine regional herbs are a combination of nature resource and traditional knowledge. Although we can make it to be an intellectual property product through applying geographical indication or certification mark, the value realization of Chinese genuine regional herbs should be supported by the merchant capital. Meanwhile, the merchant capital also disturbs the reasonable market price of Chinese genuine regional herbs. We should combine the merchant capital with Chinese genuine regional herbs, apply permission for sale and set up a new professional cooperation mode to maintain the market credibility and reasonable price of Chinese genuine regional herbs.

7.Familial mediterranean fever
Chinese Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2016;31(9):650-652
Familial mediterranean fever (FMF) is a hereditary inflammatory disorder, which caused by mutations in MEFV gene located on short arm of Chromosome 16 p13.3.The majority of patients onset before the age of 10 years, which is characterized clinically by the episodes of inflammatory reaction and serositis, including fever, peritonitis, synovitis and pleurisy.AA-amyloidosis with kidney failure is the most important complication. The children patients were diagnosed mainly on clinical evaluation and the criteria developed by Yal(c)inkaya. The ultimate goal of treatment in FMF is to obtain complete control of unprovoked attacks and minimise subclinical inflammation in between attacks. The only agent that decreases the frequency and severity of the episodes and the development of amyloidosis is colchicine, which should be startcd as soon as a clinical diagnosis is made, alternative biological treatments such as IL-1 receptor antagonist are indicated in patients with non-responders or resistant to colchicine.
8.The relationship between natural disasters and plague
Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2016;35(5):313-315
“There are big epidemics after natural disasters”.After years of analysis of the relationship between natural disasters and plague in Yunnan Province,we found that plague occurred with high frequency during the flooding period, and rodent's density and flea index were higher in years of flooding than those of normal years. However, each disaster event such as flooding, drought or earthquakes was not necessarily connected with rodents density, index of fleas and plague prevalence. The density of host animals and the index of vector were mainly determined by climatic factors such as air temperature, rainfall (humidity) and so on.Natural disasters will damage the local living environment, which caused the aggregation of host animals and humans.Close contacts between host animals and humans will promote the risk of epidemic spreading in the active plague foci.
9.Analysis of six cases of allopurinol hypersensitivity syndrome
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2016;23(18):2828-2830
Objective To analyze the characteristics of allopurinol hypersensitivity syndrome(AH),and pro-vide reference for clinical rational drug use. Methods AH cases induced by oral allopurinol administration were col-lected by dermatologists from January 1995 to January 2015 in our hospital, and 6 cases of the AH were statistically analyzed. Results All cases of AH were male and characterized by skin lesions, fever and damage of liver and kidney function.Although promptly managed,1 case of AH was mainly systemic damaged and died of multiple organ failure and the rest of those cases recuperated. Conclusion AH is an severe complication induced by allopurinol. The clini-cal medication should be strictly monitored in accordance with the instructions to reduce the incidence of AH and ensure medication safety.
10.Therapeutic observation of thin-cotton moxibustion plus surround needling for herpes zoster
Journal of Acupuncture and Tuina Science 2016;14(3):197-201
Objective:To compare the clinical efficacies between thin-cotton moxibustion plus surround needling and Western medication in treating herpes zoster (HZ).
Methods:Eighty-three HZ patients were divided into two groups according to their admission sequence, 41 cases in the thin-cotton moxibustion group and 42 cases in the Western medication group. The thin-cotton moxibustion group received thin-cotton moxibustion on the surface of lesions plus surround needling around the lesions, once a day. The Western medication group was intervened by Acyclovir intravenous injection, 0.25 g per dose, once a day, along with external application of Acyclovir cream 3-5 times a day. After 10-day treatment, the blister-healing time, crusting time, pain-reducing time, onset time of action, lesion-healed time, and occurrence of post-herpetic neuralgia (PHN) were compared.
Results:During the study, a case dropped out in the thin-cotton moxibustion group, and 2 cases dropped out in the Western medication group. The recovery and markedly-effective rate was 92.5% and total effective rate was 97.5% in the thin-cotton moxibustion group, versus 72.5% and 87.5% in the Western medication group, and the between-group differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The blister-healing time, crusting time, pain-reducing time, onset time of action and lesion-healed time in the thin-cotton moxibustion group were significantly shorter than those in the Western medication group (P<0.05). The occurrence rate of PHN was 2.07% in the thin-cotton moxibustion group, significantly lower than 9.19% in the Western medication group (P<0.01).
Conclusion:Thin-cotton moxibustion plus surround needling can produce a more significant efficacy than Acyclovir in treating HZ, and it can markedly reduce the occurrence of PHN.
