4.Effect of auricular point sticking on insomnia in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis
Modern Clinical Nursing 2014;(2):17-19,20
Objective To investigate the effect of auricular point sticking on insomnia in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis. Methods Sixty-four patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis as well as suffering from insomnia were randomly divided into observation group and control group with equal number:The control group were treated by administering 1mg estazolam before going to bed and the observation group by auricular point sticking based on TCM theory. The two groups were compared in terms of score by Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)as well as the curative effects at weeks 4 and 8,respectively.Results The scores by PSQI in the observation group were significantly lower that those of the control group at the two time points(P<0.05,for both)and the sleep curative effect in the former was significantly better than the latter(P<0.05).Conclusion The auricular point sticking based on TCM theory is more effective than therapy right with western medicine in the treatment of insomnia in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis.
5.The signal-regulated networks of HIF-1α in hippocampus region after epileptic seizures
International Journal of Pediatrics 2012;39(5):513-517
Hypoxia-inducible factor-1(HIF-1) is a key factor in hypoxic response of cells. It plays an important role in embryonic development, cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage,hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, neurodegenerative diseases, cancers and other physiological or pathological processes.Studies have confirmed that in developing rats, the expression of HIF-1 α mRNA and HIF-1α in hippocampus after status epilepsy enhanced obviously, and it is related to proliferation of neural stem cells.Although some experiments have explored the relationship between certain signaling pathways and HIF-1 α,no experiments come to the signal-regulation in the expression of HIF-1α after epilepsy.
6.Progress on proteome of rheumatoid arthritis
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(3):240-242
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease affecting joints. Proteomics is a new field of studying the protein and its dynamic axiom of transmutation in cells. Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis, mass spectrometry and bioinformatics are the three major technology. Recently, the research in rheumatoid arthritis proteomics has made great progress. Application of proteomics technology is designed to study the pathogenesis from the proteins levels, finding out the marker proteins in order to improue RA diagnosis, treatment and prognosis.
7.Clinical value of combined detection of AFP, CA125, CA199 and CEA in the diagnosis of primary hepatic carcinoma
Cancer Research and Clinic 2008;20(6):385-386
Objective To study the clinical value of combined detection of the serum levels of AFP, CA125, CA199 and CEA in the diagnosis of primary hepatic carcinoma (PHC). Methods Serum levels of AFP, CA125, CA199 and CEA in 68 patients with PHC, 50 patients with benign liver disease and 58 normal controls were measured by Electrochemiluminescence immuno-assay (ECLIA). Results The levels of AFP, CA125, CA199 and CEA in PHC group were significantly higher than those in benign liver disease and normal controls. Sensitivities of AFP, CA125, CA199 and CEA were 76.4 %, 35.3 %, 44.1%, 29.4 %, respectively. Sensitivity of combined detection of four kinds tumor markets was 94.1%. Conclusion Combined detection of four kinds of serum tumor markers is useful to increase the detective positive rate in the diagnosis of PHC.
8.Fluorescence in situ hybridization in multiple myeloma
Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(9):703-706
Multiple myeloma (MM) is a malignancy of the plasma cells, characterized by complex karyotype and chromosome instability. These cytogenetic changes are important prognostic indicators in MM patients. Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) can analyze a large number of interphase cells without metaphase. It is simple, reproducible, highly sensitive and specific. It has more prominent advantages in the research of MM without informative metaphase. FISH can detect microdeletions in genetic loci that are closely related to disease prognosis, therefore significantly improves the abnormal clone detection rate. FISH provides a theoretical foundation for the diagnosis, clinical classification and prognosis prediction, and can guide the personalized therapy of MM.
9.The Influences of Anxiety on Foreign Language Study
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2006;0(10):-
The author thinks the causes of foreign language anxiety includes the imbalance between input and output, the neglect of individual differences because of the teacher-centered input model and the passive affects of dull classroom environment etc. Meanwhile, from the author's point of view, teachers should realize the passive affects of foreign language anxiety, and try to overcome it in the teaching process.
10.Analysis on latent etiological factor of deep venous thrombosis in lower limb
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2007;0(10):-
Objective:To improve the diagnostic level of lower extremity deep venous thrombosis ( LEDVT ) and decrease the rate of missed diagnosis.Methods:23 clinical cases which admitting diagnosed with LEDVT but final diagnoses weren't LEDVT were retrospectively analyzed in our hospital between 2000 and 2006.Results:Of these 23 cases with missed diagnosed,13 cases were gynecology tumor,1 case was adenomyosis,3 cases were rectal cancer,2 cases were lung cancer,2 cases were carcinoma of bladder,1 case was prostatic carcinoma, and 1 case was malignant lymphoma in ingina. Conclusion:clinicians should pay attention to question the case history when their patients get lower extremity deep venous thrombosis, especially to those whom are inconspicuous predisposing cause.
