Taking the Capital Medical University as an example,the paper conducts SWOT analysis on the subjects development Satus of medical universities based on ESI and InCites,classifies strength subjects,weakness subjects,opportunity subjects and threat subjects by combining the results of SWOT analysis on subjects based on ESI and InCites,provides corresponding opinions and suggestions for scientific research decision-making and management on this basis.

〔Abstract〕 Taking some college and university libraries in China and the United States as investigation objects, based on internet and literature investigation methods, the paper compares the situation of embedded subject service in the US and China from the aspects of embedded in learning environment of students, embedded in teaching environment of teachers, embedded in scientific research environ-ment of users, etc.Then it points out the shortage and gives some suggestions for embedded subject service in Chinese college and univer-sity libraries.

Objectives To review the publications of general practice research in China mainland from 1993 to 2012.Methods The literatures on general practice research published in China mainland from 1993 to 2012 were retrieved from the China Journal Full Text Databases , Wanfang Databases and PubMed . The publications were analyzed using the literature management software NoteExpress 2, Excelland SPSS 19.0.Results A total of 16 349 Chinese publications and 266 English publications of general practice research were collected .The amount of publications was gradually increasing during 1993 and 2012 and there was a sharp increase in the Chinese publications from 2008 to 2012 comparing with the previous years.The Chinese publications in China′s core journals accounted for 32.39%(5 295/16 349) of total of publications;and the English publications in SCI journals accounted for 96.62% ( 257/266 ) of total publications.The authors from community health service facilities accounted for 76.01%(12 427/16 349) of Chinese publications; while authors from research institutes and universities accounted for 61.65%(164/266) of the English publications .Results showed that 37.59% ( 6 145/16 349 ) and 37.12%( 6 069/16 349 ) of the Chinese publications were commentaries and descriptive studies , only 9.57%(1 565/16 349) were randomized controlled trials;52.63% (140/266) of the English publications were descriptive studies and 9.02% ( 24/266 ) were randomized controlled trials .60.75% ( 9 932/16 349 ) of the Chinese publications and 75.94% ( 202/266 ) of the English publications were focused on clinical topics.Conclusion Although the number of general practice publications has been increasing during 1993-2012, the quality of publications is still less satisfactory and need to be further improved .

Objective To study the mechanism of hypoxia inducing factor-1α(HIF-1α)pathway in establishment of hypoxia inducing low endometrial receptivity.Methods RL95-2 cell lines.the ideal model of study ER,were cultured in hypoxia condition induced by CoCl2,and the expression of mRNA and protein of HIF-1α and tumor necrosis factor like weak inducer of apoptosis(TWEAK)were measured by reverse transcription-PCR and western blot. The apoptosis rate was analyzed by flow eytometry.Then the mechanism confirmed by comparing the two factors in endometrium and the ultra-appearance of inflammatory reaction and apoptosis between recurrent spontaneous abortion women and control women.Results (1)On difierent time point(0,12,24,48 hour),mRNA expression of HIF-1α were 0.272±0.010,0.354±0.020,0.591±0.020.0.890±0.020,while the expression of TWEAK were 0.104±0.010,0.510±0.020,1.021±0. 020, 1. 237 +0. 040, respectively, the expression level between 12, 24, 48 and 0 hour all showed significant differences (P＜0. 05 ). (2) Protein expression of HIF-1α were 0. 853 +0. 010, 0. 931 ±0. 030,1. 124±0.010, 1.317±0.0 20 respectively, while was 0.042±0.010, 0.091 ±0.010, 0. 131±0.020,0. 205 ±0. 030 in TWEAK expression, the different level were statistically significant ( P＜0. 05 ). ( 3 )With longer culture under hypoxia, the cell apoptosis rate increased obviously. The apoptosis rate of each time point were ( 3.2±1.4 ) %, ( 16. 2 ±3.2 ) %, ( 26. 3±3.5 ) %, ( 31.8±3.5 )%, the differences between 12, 24, 48 and 0 hour had significance (P ＜0. 05). (4) The positive rate of HIF-1α stained in epithelium cells and stroma cells of test group were 32. 3%, 8.4% and 16. 7%, 7. 3% in control group. The positive rate of TWEAK were 28. 3%, 3.9% in recurrent spontaneous abortion group and 11.6%, 2. 7% in control group ( P ＜0. 05 ). The ultra-appearance of inflammatory cell infiltrated and apoptosis were obvious in test group. Conclusions Cell inflammation reaction and apoptosis induced by HIF-1α pathway may participate the mechanism of hypoxia inducing low endometrial receptivity. HIF-1α might become a novel target for improving poor endometrial receptivity.

Our earlier research has shown that mono-substituted N-phenyl-2, 2-dichloroacetamide exhibited much higher anti-cancer activity than the lead compound sodium dichloroacetate (DCA). In this paper, a variety of multi-substituted N-phenyl-2, 2-dichloroacetamides were synthesized and biologically evaluated. The results showed that 3, 5-disubstituted N-phenyl-2, 2-dichloroacetamide analogues had satisfactory potency. Among them, N-(3, 5-diiodophenyl)-2, 2-dichloroacetamide had an IC50 of 2.84 micromol x L(-1) against non-small cell lung cancer cell line A549 and could induce cancer cell apoptosis.

Objective Analyze the patterns of output of the papers by NSFC funding project,and understand the impact of NSFC on SCI paper publication.Methods The SCI papers were retrieved by the web of science,the license number of the fund grants institution was matched with the approval number of NSFC,to conduct the descriptive and univariate analysis.Results Since 2011,the labeling number and frequency of NSFC projects in SCI papers had been increased annually.Except for the projects completed in 2011 and 2012,most funding labeling were marked in the project-concluding year.Among the SCI papers published in 2015,the average labeling number and rank of projects funded for more than RMB 900,000 was higher than the low-budget items,also,the four-year projects were higher than the three-year project.Conclusions The role of the NSFC in boosting the publication of SCI papers has been increasing year by year,increasing annually before the projects concluding year,while decreasing after the completion.Higher funding and longer project period have relatively higher impact.

This paper was aimed to analyze the correlation between quality evaluation and whole complete quality assessment in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) clinical research progress,in order to discuss key steps and strategies in the clinical research progress.In accordance with the quality control indexes,all projects of Prevention and Treatment of Chronic Disease of TCM were given a research progress evaluation and complete condition.The scores were described with radar map method.The influence of research progress to whole complete quality was analyzed with correlation methods.The results showed that there was a significant correlation between research progress (including included cases and completed cases) and the total score of quality control (P ＜ 0.05).It was concluded that research progress was a key step to influence the entire clinical research level.It is necessary to strengthen the supervision on research progress to guarantee the whole research level.

Descending nociceptive modulation from the supraspinal structures plays an important role in cancer-induced bone pain (CIBP). Rostral ventromedial medulla (RVM) is a critical component of descending nociceptive facilitation circuitry, but so far the mechanisms are poorly known. In this study, we investigated the role of RVM glial activation in the descending nociceptive facilitation circuitry in a CIBP rat model. CIBP rats showed significant activation of microglia and astrocytes, and also up-regulation of phosphorylated p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (p38 MAPK) and pro-inflammatory mediators released by glial cells (IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α and brain-derived neurotrophic factor) in the RVM. Stereotaxic microinjection of the glial inhibitors (minocycline and fluorocitrate) into CIBP rats' RVM could reverse the glial activation and significantly attenuate mechanical allodynia in a time-dependent manner. RVM microinjection of p38 MAPK inhibitor (SB203580) abolished the activation of microglia, reversed the associated up-regulation of pro-inflammatory mediators and significantly attenuated mechanical allodynia. Taken together, these results suggest that RVM glial activation is involved in the pathogenesis of CIBP. RVM microglial p38 MAPK signaling pathway is activated and leads to the release of downstream pro-inflammatory mediators, which contribute to the descending facilitation of CIBP.

Objective To investigate the proportion of different types, distribution of genders, ages as well as the relative factors in inpatient with glaucoma. Design Retrospective case series. Participants 5058 cases of inpatients in Xingtai Eye Hospital, Hebei province from June 2004 to May 2009 were included. Methods Statistical analysis was conducted for 5058 cases of inpatients with glausoma. Main outcome Measures The type of glaucoma, age, gender and their percentages. Results In all 5058 cases, the patients with primary glaucoma, secondary glaucoma and congenital glaucoma accounted for 59.07%, 37.92% and 3.01% respectively. Primary angle-closure glaucoma (PACG) accounted for 88.65% in primary glaucoma, and primary open angle glaucoma (POAG) accounted for 11.35%. In PACG, acute PACG accounted for 53.15%, chronic PACG 46.85%;The female over forty accounted for 69.54%, male 26.95%. In POAG, the female over forty accounted for 69.54%, male 28.02%. From June 2004 to May 2005, POAG accounted for 11.32% in primary glaucoma, 12.44% from June 2008 to May 2009. There was no statistically significant difference. Conclusion In the central part of China, the majority of inpatients with glaucoma was PACG. It may relate to the regional,economic and cultural conditions.
