1.THE INVESTIGATION OF THE PRIMARY RELATIVES OF 200 CASES WITH SIMPLE OBESITY
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 1985;0(02):-
In order to study the pathogenesis of simple obesity in relation to genetic and environmental factors,I,202 primary re-latives of 200 cases of simple obesity and 939 primary relatives of 200 normal controls were investigated. The results were as follows: The incidence of obesity is higher in the parents and siblings of obese subjects than that in the normals. The hereditary degree is 83.1% in these patients with simple obesity. Asignificant difference of the incidence of obesity was found between the normal controls (11.7%) and the primary relatives of obese cases (34.4%). The latter is close to the square root of the former and is much less than that of the monofactorial inheritance. Therefore, genetic factors and multifactorial inheritance appear to play a role in the pathogenesis of obesity.
2.Exploration of the rehabilitation education in aged patients with cardiovascular disease
Chinese Journal of cardiovascular Rehabilitation Medicine 2001;10(2):125-126
Objective:To study the practical methods and the results of the rehabilitation education. Methods: One hundred cardiovascular patients over 65 years old who are receiving the com prehensive rehabilitation treatment are selected for rehabilitation education,an d comparisons were conducted between pre-and post-education.Results: After receiving the rehabilitation education, the cognition on disease (51%→89%)、rehabilitation therapy(47%→93%),confidence of to win a victory on d i sease(53%→90%)、attendance rate(71%→98%) increase obviously, and irrationality living habit decrease obviously(36%→13%). Conclusion: The rehabilitation education plays an important role in the rehabilitation of t he aged cardiovascular patients, and it is very practical and feasible.
3.THE SUPPRESSIVE EFFECTS OF CYCLOSPORIN A ON IMMUNE FUNCTION IN MICE
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1986;0(04):-
The suppressive effects of cyclosporin A ( CsA ) made in China on immune function were studied in mice. CsA ( 25 and 50 mg/kg ig for 4 d ) caused a significant decrease of spleen plaque forming cell ( PFC ) in mice. At the dose of 25, 50 and 100 mg/kg ig for 4 d, CsA inhibited the production of hemolysin in a dose-dependent manner in mice immunized with SRBC. CsA ( 25, 50 and 100 mg/kg ig for 10d ) also markedly inhibited the delayed cutaneous hypersensitivity ( DCH ) induced by DNCB in mice. CsA 50 mg/kg ig for 14d prolongated survival time of cardiac grafts. The treatment with CsA could not reduce the clearance rate of iv charcoal particles as well as bone marrow cells in mice. There was no significant difference of immu-nosuppressive effect on PFC response between China-made CsA and Sandoz-made CsA

OBJECTIVETo compare the difference in clinical efficacy on post-stroke motor aphasia among the combined therapy of acupoint application of jieyu plaster and acupuncture, simple acupuncture and simple acupoint application of jieyu plaster.
METHODSEighty-six patients of post-stroke motor aphasia were randomized into an acupuncture group (28 cases) , an acupoint application gruop (29 cases) and the combined therapy group (29 cases). In the acupuncture group, acupuncture was applied at the Speech No. 1 area and three-tongue needling points, once a day, 6 times a week. In the acupoint application group, jieyue plaster was applied to Yongquan (KI 1) and Laogong (PC 8), once a day, and the bilateral acupoints were selected alternatively. In the combined therapy group, the therapeutic methods of the first two groups were used in combination. The treatment lasted for 4 weeks in the three groups. The speech function score was observed and compared before and after treatment in the three groups and the efficacy was compared among the three groups.
RESULTSThe total effective rate was 86.2% (25/29) in the combined therapy group, which was better than 67.9% (19/28) in the acupuncture group and 69.0% (20/29) in the acupoint application group (both P < 0.05). After treatment, the scores of spontaneous conversation, restatement and nomenclature in the speech function were all improved as compared with those before treatment in the three groups (all P < 0.01). The results in the combined therapy group were apparently better than those in the acupuncture group and the acupoint application group (all P < 0.01).
CONCLUSIONThe combined therapy of acupoint application of jieyu plaster and acupuncture apparently improves the speech function in the treatment of post-stroke motor aphasia and the efficacy is better than that of simple acupuncture or simple acupoint application.

Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2017;35(3):207-209
Objective To explore the clinical features and gene mutation types of Cornelia de Lange syndrome (CdLS), an inherited metabolic disease. Methods The clinical data and gene detection results of one case of CdLS were retrospectively analyzed. Results Two-year-old male had special appearance, microcephaly, bushy eyebrows with both sides meeting in the midline, long curly eyelashes, low body mass, and motor and mental retardation. NIPBL gene detection found the variation of the nucleotide in c.7176T>A (nucleotide 7176 in coding region changed from T to A). Conclusions CdLS is a rare congenital inherited metabolic disease. The clinical manifestations were special appearance and signs. The c.7176T>A mutation in NIPBL gene has not been reported at home and abroad.

Objective:To study and assess therapeutic effect of Fei Laoning in accessory treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis of retu treatment.Methods:67 cases of return treatment with positive tuberculomyces were randomly divided into a treatment group of 3 cases and a control group of 33 cases. They were all treated by the program,3Pa(H)L2VZ(TH)E(Ak)/6Pa(H)L2V,wit Feilaoning added to the treatment group for 3 months. Results:One,three and six months after treatment, the returning negativ rates for the bacterium in phlegm were 61.8%,94.1%,97.1%and 30.3%.75.8%,78.8%;the absorption rates of foci wer 73.5%,94.1%, 97.1% and 36.4%,75.8%,81.8% in the treatment group and the control group, respectively, with significan differences between the two groups(P

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy of latanoprost for patients with refractory angle-closure glaucoma in whom the intraocular tension failed to be kept under control by common anti-glaucoma drugs.METHODS:A total of 23 refractory glaucoma cases(36 eyes)whose intraocular pressure(IOP)failed to be kept under control by common anti-glaucoma drugs were assigned to receive latanoprost alone or latanoprost combined with timolol or pilocarpine for 6 months. The intraocular tension, visual acuity, visual field and side-effect were observed.RESULTS:In acute primary angle-closure glaucoma group, the mean IOP was(27.13?5.21)mmHg before treatment vs.(16.21?3.45)mmHg at six months(P

[Objective] The disease distribution of in-patients in different age groups from 1993 to 2002 in respiratory disease department of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) was analyzed to provide evidence for clinical treatment. [ Methods ] A retrospective research was adopted. Fourteen categories of diseases and 3 age groups were classified according to the case history recorded from 1993 to 2002 in respiratory disease department of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of TCM. Reasons for hospitalization of the in-patients in different age groups during 10 years were analyzed by descriptive analysis and Vilfredo Pareto analysis. [Results] The principal and secondary reasons for hospitalization were respiratory tract infection, pulmonary tuberculosis and pneumothorax in the young age group while in the old age group, they were chronic bronchitis, pulmonary emphysema, chronic pulmonary heart disease and lung cancer. [Conclusion] The focus of daily medical treatment in the department of respiratory disease should vary with the age groups and disease categories, and the control of infectious diseases should be generally strengthened.
