1.A MODIFIED METHOD OF DETERMINING NK ACTIVITY IN HUMAN PERIPHERAL BLOOD:WHOLE BLOOD ASSAY
Chinese Journal of Immunology 1985;0(02):-
With use of ~(125)I-udR release test,a significant natural killer activityagainst K_(562) target cells has been determined in human peripheral wholeblood(WB).r There was a gradual decrease in NK activity as rise inthe dilution or WB.In comparison with peripheral monouclear cells(PBMC)oneself, the NK activity lowered distinctly at both 1:4 and 1:8 dilution ofWB(p0.4).It seems that neither the red blood cells nor thePlasma ffeect on NK activity of WB,The NK activity in WB as well as inPBMO was improved by incubation with human leukocyte interferon.TheNK activity of WB and PBMC in patients with hepatocellular carcinomawas signiticantly lower than in normal controls. The results showed tahtNK activity may be determined by using properly diluted WB instead orPBMC,and the assay can be easily performed in clinical practice.

Objective In order to know the operative key points of combined endoscopic nephroureterectomy. Methods Retrospective analyzed 16 patients with combined endoscopic nephroureterec-tomy, and then summarized perioperative nursing points. Results All the patients had successful operation without any complications. Conclusions Careful perioperative nursing are the guarantee for successful oper-ation, which can effective promote the rehabilitation for patients.

Objective To analyze the genetic diversity of eight species of Caragana Fabr. in Ordos Plateau. Methods To study the genetic diversity of the eight species with ISSR method. Results The total percentage of polymorphic bands (PPB) of the eight species was up to 100%, which was extremely high and showed an abundant genetic diversity. However, the genetic diversity of different species was not the same. The genetic diversity of C. tibetica, C. korshinskii, C. stenophylla, C. roborovskyi, and C. intermedia was higher, while that of C. opulens and C. purdomii was lower, and that of C. brachypoda was the lowest. The analytic results of the Nei′s gene diversities and the Shannon′s information index were similar. Different species could be differentiated through UPGMA method and characteristic banding pattern of ISSR. Conclusion ISSR Molecular marker could be used in molecular authentication and hereditary background study of the species of Caragana Fabr. These results provide the scientific basis of developing effective protection measures for these species.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2008;22(19):883-885
OBJECTIVE:
To observe the changes of distortion product otoacoustic emissions (DPOAE) in the patients with iron deficient anaemia (IDA).
METHOD:
Sixty cases who were taken health physical examination at ZhaBei District Central Hospital were divided into two groups, the normal group (30 cases, 60 ears) and the IDA group (30 patients, 60 ears) depend on the results of examination of hemoglobin and serum ferritin. The changes of DPOAEs at 4 kHz were observed.
RESULT:
A statistically significant decrease of DPOAE threshold level compared with the normal controls was seen at 4 kHz in the patients with IDA.
CONCLUSION
The decreased threshold level of DPOAE at 4 kHz in IDA patients should relate to sensorineural hearing loss directly.

Objective:To investigate the isolation rate, antimicrobial resistance phenotype, and molecular type characteristics of Klebsiella pneumoniae from infectious diarrhea outpatients in Tai’an. Methods:A total of 866 stool samples were collected from infectious diarrhea cases in sentinel hospitals in 6 counties of Tai’an from 2013 to 2017. The strains were isolated from stool samples of the cases and identified by biochemical test. Micro broth dilution method was used to detect the drug resistance of the strains. The molecular typing was conducted by using pulsed field gel electrophoresis (PFGE).Results:The detection rate of Klebsiella pneumoniae in the stool samples was 7.97 % (69/866), with significant differences among the 6 counties ( χ2=39.627, P=0.000). Sixty- eight out of the 69 strains were resistant to 15 antibiotics with resistance rate 98.55 %(68/69). The resistance to ampicillin (AMP) was highest (84.06 %) (58/69), followed by sulfamethoxazole (SOX) (72.46 %)(50/69). There were 40 drug resistance profiles, and the predominant resistance profile was AMP-SOX detected ( n=10). The multi-drug resistant (MDR) strains accounted for 33.33 % (23/69). The 69 strains could be divided into 65 PFGE patterns, and no predominant PFGE pattern or cluster was observed. Conclusions:Klebsiella pneumoniae was detected in the stool samples of diarrhea- syndrome outpatients, indicating the risk for community-acquired infection; the strains were resistant to multiplex antibiotics, with wide drug-resistance profiles and high multi-drug resistance rates. The PFGE patterns were diverse, which showed no correlation with drug resistance profiles. Our study indicated that it necessary to strengthen the surveillance and detection of Klebsiella pneumoniae from diarrhea outpatients, which could facilitate the prevention of the emergence and spread of drug resistance strains and the protection of susceptible population.

Modern Clinical Nursing 2023;22(11):68-75
Objective To evaluate the intervention effect of exercise on cancer related cognitive impairment of breast cancer patients, and to provide evidence-based evidence for the choices of rehabilitation programs for cognitive impairment. Methods The PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,Cochrane Library,Joanna Briggs Institute Library(JBI),CINAHL,CNKI,Wanfang,VIP and CBM were searched by computer for randomized controlled trials on the impact of exercise on cancer-related cognitive impairment in patients with breast cancer. The retrieval time limit was from the establishment of the database to October 2022.The quality of the included studies was evaluated according to Cochrane Handbook 5.1.0.RevMan5.4 was used for meta-analysis.Results A total of 18 publications including 1310 patients were included. The results showed that exercise could improve self-reported cancer-related cognitive impairment[SMD=0.33,95%CI(0.21,0.46),P<0.001],executive function[SMD=-0.27,95%CI(-0.42,-0.11),P<0.001]and attention[SMD=-0.37,95%CI(-0.60,-0.14),P<0.01],alleviate cancer-related fatigue[SMD=-0.56,95%CI(-0.79,-0.34),P<0.001],and reduce depression[SMD=-0.73,95%CI(-1.17,-0.30),P<0.001],but it has no significant effect on the memory of patients with breast cancer[SMD=0.05,95%CI(-0.16,0.27),P=0.64].Conclusion Exercise can improve the self-reported cancer-related cognitive impairment, executive function and attention of breast cancer patients, alleviate cancer-related fatigue, reduce depression, but it has no significant effect on improving memory, which still needs further verification.
