International Eye Science 2014;(9):1615-1617
To evaluate the clinical efficacy of corneal lamellar debridement combined with sutureless amniotic membrane transplantation for the treatment of superficial fungal keratitis.
●METHODS:Totally 22 cases (22 eyes) with superficial fungal keratitis were referred to our hospital from April 2012 to October 2013. The patients with persistent cornea ulcer after treatment of local and systemic antifungal drugs underwent corneal lamellar debridement combined with sutureless amniotic membrane transplantation, and the recipient bed was covered with an amniotic membrane using fibrin sealant during the operation. All patients were still given topical antifungal therapy for 1 -2mo after operation. The followed- up time was 3mo or above. We observed the corneal healing and amniotic membrane adhesion by split lamp microscope, and investigated the transformation of amniotic membrane and fungal infection recurrence with confocal microscope.
●RESULTS: Corneal edema and anterior chamber reaction of 21 patients disappeared gradually, and no amniotic membrane graft dissolved and shed off within 1-2wk postoperatively. Two weeks after operation, the graft integrated into the corneal and the corneal wounds' thickness increased gradually, the corneal epithelium reconstructed and corneas became clear. Four weeks after operation, the corneal scarring developed gradually and fluorescence staining was negative. Nineteen cases' amniotic membranes that adhered with the cornea dissolved 4wk after operation. There were different degrees of corneal nebula or macula remained 3mo postoperatively. All patients' vision improved in varying degrees, except in 1 case with fungal keratitis who had been cured by lamellar keratoplasty.
●CONCLUSlON:Corneal lamellar debridement combined with sutureless amniotic membrane transplantation can effectively remove the foci of inflammation, improve the local efficacy, shorten the operation time, relieve the postoperative reaction, and promote cornea union, which is an effective way to treat superficial fungal keratitis.

Objective To explore the curative efficacy of astragalus injection on blood lipids and bone mineral density in patients with hemiplegia after ischemic stroke. Methods From January, 2014 to June, 2015, 116 patients with hemiplegia after ischemic stroke were col-lected and radomly divided into control group (n=54) and observation group (n=62). The control group received acupuncture based on con-ventional treatments, while the observation group received astragalus injection in addition. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NI-HSS) and Ability of Daily Living Scale (ADL) were used to assess the neurologic impairment and the ability of daily living. The curative ef-ficacy and the levels of blood lipids and bone mineral density were observed. Results Compared with the control group, the curative efficien-cy increased (χ2=3.960, P<0.05). The score of NIHSS decreased (t=3.490, P=0.001), and the score of ADL increased (t=2.820, P=0.006). The levels of total cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein cholesterol significantly decreased (t>4.190, P<0.001), however, the lev-el of high density lipoprotein cholesterol did not change (P>0.05). The densities in forearm, femur and Ward's area in the hemiplegia side in-creased (t>2.060, P<0.05). Conclusion Astragalus injection is effective on hemiplegia after ischemic stroke, which can increase the curative efficacy, alleviate the neurologic impairment, promote the ability of daily living, improve the blood lipids and increase the bone mineral den-sity.

Objective To analyze the characteristics of visual evoked potential (VEP) and the role of VEP in detecting posttraumatic optic nerve injury and evaluate the value of hyperxia liquid in treatment of posttraumatic optic nerve injury. Methods A total of 84 patients with optic nerve injury were divided into control group (n=47, received the general treatments) and treatment group (n=37, treated with hyperxia liquid on the basis of the general treatments) that were monitored regularly by VEP at days 1, 7, 14 and 21 respectively after treatment to analyze and compare latency, amplitudes, visual acuity and treatment result. Results After injury, abnormality of VEP occurred at days 1-7, reached the peak at days 7-14, and then markedly relieved at day 21. Compared with control group, degree of VEP abnormality was significantly lower (P

In the cultural construction of independent institute, there exist the contradiction between tradition and innovation, cultural conflicts between private enterprises and the university. Therefore, adhering to the people-centered concept, coordinating tradition and innovation, merging the advantages of university culture and private enterprises culture into a whole, cultivating the unique spiritual culture, harmonious system culture and unified material culture of independent institute, forming the distinctive “Institute Culture” with its own cultural tradition will provide reference for the theory and practice to enrich and improve the connotative development of independent institute.

The paper aimed to study the residue decline dynamic and standards for safety utilization of carbendazim in roots, stems, leaves of Anoectochilus roxburghii and in growth media. Samples extracted with methanol were purified by liquid-liquid extraction and analysed by HPLC. The results showed that average rate of recovery was 82.9% - 95.7% and RSD were 2.0% - 6.3% with add of carbendazim in respectively diverse concentration, which meets inspection requirement of pesticide residue. Two kinds of dosages of carbendazim were treated, varying from recommended dosage (1.0 kg x hm(-2)) to 1.5 times recommended dosage (1.5 kg x hm(-2)). Results of two years test showed that the half-life period of carbendazim were 7.01 - 8.51 d in the growth media of A. roxburghii, 3.58 - 4.27 d in stems and 3.50 - 3.91 d in leaves, 4.93 - 5.71 d in roots. Providing max recommended residue of carbendazim in the cultivation of A. roxburghii is 0.5 mg x kg(-1), sprayed 4 times a year with the dosage of 1.0 kg x hm(-2), 28 days is proposed for the safety interval of the last pesticide application's and harvest's date.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(11):-
Objective To investigate the bid gene expression and cell death in brain after cerebral hypoxia-ischemia in neonatal rats and the effects of dexamethasone(DEX)on bid gene expression,so as to elucidate the possible mechanism of the neuroprotective effect of DEX pretreatment on rats following cerebral hypoxia-ischemia.Methods Twenty-four SD neonatal rats were divided randomly into hypoxia-ischemia brain damage(HIBD),normal,dexamethasone-pretreated and 9 g/L NaCl(NS)control group. The animal models of HIBD were made.Total RNA from ipsilateral cerebral hemisphere was extracted.Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)was used to evaluate the level of bid gene expression after hypoxia-ischemia.Cerebral apoptosis was determined by terminal-deoxynucleotidy transferase mediated d-UTP nick end labeling(TUNEL).Results The levels of bid mRNA were higher in HIBD rats than those in normal rats. The number of positive apoptosis cells significantly increased in HIBD group(P

10.Progress of studies on animal model of immune thrombocytopenic purpura--review.
Journal of Experimental Hematology 2006;14(3):623-626
Human ITP clinical trials have been performed based on observations of clinical uses of drugs, other than on mechanism studies in preclinical models, many studies were stopped because of unexpected complications. So there was need to develop ideal animal model of ITP to improve the understanding of the pathophysiology and the mechanisms of action of therapeutics. In this review, the history of animal models of ITP was retrospected, two modeling methods inducing passive and active models, especially transgenic rice model which can more accurately represent human disease pathophysiology, and their application in study of ITP were summarized. An animal model for human immune thrombocytopenia allows detailed studies of the mechanism, kinetics, and therapy of human immune thrombocytopenia.
