This study introduced a case of mild hemophilia with postperitoneal bleeding that rupturing in to the abdominal cavity operated. The disease was lately detected and treated by drug therapy such as fluid compensation, emergency transfusion of factor VIII and tests. The postoperative results found good outcome.

Abdominoscrotal hydrocele is a collection of fluid in the tunica vaginalis, which extends from the scrotum to the abdominal cavity. The pathogenesis is unclear but the extension may be properitoneal or retroperitoneal, and the processus vaginalis is patent or not. Pressure alone cannot explain this phenomenon, but may coexist with a preformed abnormality of the tuica vasinalis. A case is presented of an unususlly large retroperitoneal mass which was extending from the right scrotal hydrocele discovered at operation. A complete surgical excision is made through both an inguinal and a transabdominal apprach.

Natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) is the new therapeutic technique. This procedure stands on the cutting edge of minimal invasive surgery that accesses the abdominal cavity through a natural orifice under the endoscopic image. There have been many animal experiments, and clinical trials of NOTES. We performed a transgastric endoscopic cholecystectomy of a pig using conventional endoscopic instruments through a natural orifice and the assistance of a 5mm laparoscopic trocar.

Natural orifice translumenal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) involves the intentional perforation of the viscera with an endoscope to access the abdominal cavity and perform an intraabdominal operation. In a brief time period, NOTES has been shown to be feasible in laboratory animal and human studies. Easy access to the peritoneal cavity and complete gastric closure should be secured before NOTES can be recommended as an acceptable alternative in clinical practice. The concept of submucosal endoscopy has been introduced as a solution to overcome these two primary barriers to human NOTES application. Its offset entry/exit access method effectively prevents contamination and allows the rapid closure of the entry site with a simple mucosal apposition. In addition, it could be used as an endoscopic working space for various submucosal conditions. Herein, the detailed procedures, laboratory results and human application of the submucosal endoscopy will be reviewed.

Intrauterine device is one of the most used contraception in the world. One of the major complications of intrauterine contraception is perforation through the uterine wall into the pelvic or abdominal cavity. The currently accepted treatment of choice for displaced IUD is its removal of surgical laparoscopy or laparotomy. We report on three cases with misplaced IUD in pelvic or abdominal cavity, followed by a review of the literature.

The retroperitoneal space is that indefinite area in the lumber and iliac region which lies between the peritoneum and the posterior wall of the abdominal cavity. The term retroperitoneal cyst or tumor is usually confined by the pathologist to these arising from the structures situated in the retroperitoneal space. Retroperitoneal cysts are that of non-neoplastic nature and originated from retroperitoneal tumor Because the retroperitoneal space is rather extensive and adjacent organs are easily displaced, many of the cysts grow to a large size before giving any clinical manifestation. Frequently, when the patient is first seen, there is an indefinite abdominal mass the exact nature of which is obscure, and the diagnosis is not made until the time of surgical investigation.

This is a case report of umbilical cord hernia containing vermiform appendix, which was not reduced to the abdominal cavity by fibrous adhesion to the inner surface of the sac. Appendectomy is required to reduce the herniated bowel and to excise the hernia sac.
