1.Synthesis, structure and biological effects of some compounds of 2-mecaptobenzothiazole
Pharmaceutical Journal 1998;272(12):14-16
Nine compounds derivated from 2-mercaptobezothiazole were synthesized. Their structure have been identified by MS-, IR-, and UV- spectroscopy. Antimicrobial activities of some compounds have been tested. Hydrazide BT6 and substituted hydrazides BT7, BT8, BT9 were found to have significant inhibitory activity on P. aeruginosa, S. aureus, Asp. niger and F. oxysporum at concentration 50mcg/ml.

Realtime xCELLigence analysis (RTCA) is a new cell detection technology to continuously monitor, record and analyze a variety of information generated by cell activity. In drug research, it plays an important role in assessing myocardial toxicity and cell biological activity. Here, we first introduce the underlying mechanisms and characteristics of RTCA. Then we review the applications of RTCA in the research of myocardial toxicity and cell biological activity, to provides the fundamental baseline for understanding and exploiting RTCA. With the real-time, unlabeled, non-invasive, high throughput, and high accuracy features, RTCA not only promotes drug research and development, but also has a broad and good application prospect in other fields.

3.Choice of pharmaceutical services in Tien Son district
Journal of Medical and Pharmaceutical Information 1998;(1):24-27
According to the results of an investigation on 270 households in May 1999 carried out in Tien Son district, Bac Ninh province, 56 (20.79%) purchasing households came to commune health centre, 195 (72.22%) came to private clinic, 8 (2.96%) came to public pharmacy and 11 (4.03%) came to private pharmacy. Quality of the drug, easiness to access, reasonable price, good counseling... are the favorable factors to promote the purchaser's choice

5.Evaluation of the use of antimalarials in the application of therapeutic regimen at district level in Dien Bien province
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;0(12):24-28
410 medical records (201 of which at district hospitals and 209 at commune health stations) were studied. Results: the rate of correct diagnosis of clinical malaria at district level was 69.6%, the rate of incorrect diagnosis was still high (30.4%). Among mistakes of clinical diagnosis, the most common is that blood culturing for P.falciparum was done once only, did not have the blood culturing before treatment, did not have exclusion of other reasons caused fever. Mistakes of dosage and duration of treatment course were 10.9% and 18.9%, respectively. The regimen of artesunat tablet had the highest incorrect rate (13.4%). The drug combination rate was 58.8% of patients with positive serum P.falciparum and in 11.4% of patients with clinical malaria. There were 35.3% of the cases used antibiotics (most of them were beta-lactam) in combination with antimalarial drugs in the patients with positive serum P.falciparum, the rate was 47.8% in the patients with clinical malaria

6.A new method for improvement the oxidative stage of 10 beta-allyldeoxoartemisinin into 10 beta-(2-carboxymythel) deoxoartemisinin compound
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;0(7):11-13
The synthesis of 10 beta-allyldeoxoartemisinin with excellent results through the intermediate dihydroartemisinin 10 alpha-benzoate using zinc chloride as catalyst was performed. This compound was then oxidized using osmium tetra oxide and oxone in dimethyl formamide to give 10 beta-(2'-carboxymethyl) deoxoartemisinin with high yield. Many important different derivatives of artemisinin can be synthesized from this important compound

7.Study on influence of flavonoides from Oroxylum indicum Vent. towards alpha-chymotrypsine in relationship with the process of inflammation
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;0(8):23-26
This study demonstrated that in vitro, flavonoids from Oroxylum indicum stimulated the hydrolyzing reaction of alpha-chymotrypsin on casein. The stimulative level was dependent on time exposure and concentration of the flavonoids. In vivo, Oroxylum indicum's flavonoids had anti-inflammatory effects in dextran-induced oedema of mouse paw. When Oroxylum indicum's flavonoids were combined with alpha-chymotrypsin, their anti-inflammatory activity was increased. The successful combination between flavonoids from Oroxylum indicum and alpha - CT contributed to study anti-inflammatory effect of flavonoid and alpha - CT. It may be necessary to further study on traditional and modern anti-inflammatory medication in combination with anti-inflammatory enzyme

8.Study on the application of solid phase extraction for quantitation vitamin D in Patarvit syrup by HCLC
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;354(10):17-19
The study built process of extraction vitamin D3 in Patarvit syrup by SPE technique with mean extract performance as 98.2%. Chromatography was built to quantity vitamin D3 as following: Lichrosorb RP 18 column (250 X 4 mm, 5 and 10µm ); Detector UV: 265 nm; movement phase: Methanol-ethyl acetate - water (90:7:3); stream speed: 1.5ml/minute. Injection volume: 20µl. The method had a high accuracy (E% = 1.18%). Percentage of withdrawal was 96.8% with E% = 0.71%; the limit of detection (LOD) was 5.79IU/ml, the limit of quantitative (LOQ) was 19.3IU/ml

9.The use of MIMS-interactive software to detect and classify drug interactions in some prescriptions
Pharmaceutical Journal 2005;0(11):30-33
Using MIMS-interactive software-a computerized drug interaction screening program for detecting and classifying drug interactions in 3 clinical departments showed that drug interaction was quite common (the rate medical reports with drug interaction at genito-urinary department was 85.15%, abdominal surgery department was 67.195, cardiovascular surgery department was 78.95%). However most of these had no clinical significance. The rate of drug interaction with clinical significance at genito-urinary department was only 3.48%, abdominal surgery department 7.03%, cardiovascular department 3.29%. Applying software helps doctors find and treat adverse drug interactions timely, which can increase the safety of efficiency of prescriptions, especially for surgical treatment which require rapid and accurate treatment

Journal of Medicinal Materials - Hanoi 2004;9(6):165-169
A statistic investigation was conducted on all species of animals as a whole with their distribution, their status of existence up to the year 2003.There are 408 species including 22 classes, 6 branches of animal which had been used and had been identified in Vietnam. Among them, 393 species have been living in wild nature, their 152 species were registered into Vietnam’s Red Book. According to the APPENDIX of The Decree n.48/2002/ND-CP and The Appendix of CITES_ Guide to Plants and Animals in Trade, Authors had Recommended the use of breeding animals instead of wild animals
