1.Improved Accuracy and Safety of Intracorporeal Transpedicular Bone Grafting - using Contrast Impregnated Bone: A Case Report
Malaysian Orthopaedic Journal 2014;8(3):27-29
A method of transpedicular bone grafting using contrast
impregnated bone to improve the visualization of bone graft
on the image intensifier is reported. A - 36-year old man who
had sustained traumatic burst fracture of T12 vertebra, with
Load-Sharing Classification (LSC) score of 8, was treated
with posterior short segment fusion from T11 to L1 with
transpedicular bone graft of T12 vertebra. We were able to
correct the kyphotic end plate angle (EPA) from 19º to 1.4º.
Anterior bone graft augmentation was achieved with contrast
enhaced transpedicular bone grafts. At six months follow up,
CT scan showed good bony integration of the anterior
column with EPA of 4.5º and two years later, radiographs
showed EPA of 7.6 º.

2.Proximal Tibia Bone Graft: An alternative Donor Source especially for Foot and Ankle Procedures

Malaysian Orthopaedic Journal 2015;9(1):14-17
Bone graft is essential in various orthopaedic procedures.
Among the many donor sites for harvesting autologous
bone graft, the iliac crest has been the most commonly used.
However, for foot and ankle procedures the proximal tibia
has gained popularity as an alternative donor site due to its
anatomic proximity to the primary surgical site. In this article
we evaluated the possible complications associated with
harvesting proximal tibia bone graft. Our study showed the
low incidence of morbidity in harvesting proximal tibia bone
graft, thereby providing a good alternative donor for foot
and ankle procedures.

3.Jawbone transplatation in the treatment of the mandibullar amelo blastoma
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 1998;231(12):100-102
Grafting jawbone for the patient partical operating a section of bone is really essential. It is for restoring the function and esthetic for the patient. 2. The best material for grafting is natural bone auto graft which are taken from ribs or innomiate bone, because they are the same as jawbone. 3. Grafting bone is needed to follow closely clean system. 4. A treatment and nutrition are effected on result of surgery. 5. After 6 months, we can make denture on the grafter jawbone area

5.Folded fibular bone transplantation with revascularization for reconstruction of the femoral and shin bone defects
Journal of Practical Medicine 2001;403(10):53-55
The prospective clinical study was carried out on 9 patients (male: 8; female: 1), between the ages of 17 - 50, with the femoral and shinbone defects due to the osteomyelitis or after operative removal of osteoblastoma. 7 patients had a skeletal defect due to traumatic osteomyelitis, 1 patient had a skeletal defect due to osteomyelitis via blood and 1 patient had a skeletal defect after removal of giant cell tumor. The results have shown that situation of nutrition in transplantation area: good (1), bad (8), situation of infection in the transplantation area: asepsis (1), sepsis in the stable period (1) and unstable sepsis (7). Skin - bone complex defect (4), operation results: good (8), medium (1).

10.Bone marrow transplantation during 1995-2000
Journal of Vietnamese Medicine 2000;248(6):20-34
The bone marrow transplantation is a most modern technique and applied in Vietnam to treat the malignant hematological diseases. This paper introduced the bone marrow heterotransplantation and the autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplantation. 3 patients (1 male; 2 female) received transplantation (bone marrow fluid was extracted from patient’s brothers) for the treatment of the chronic myeloid leukemia and severe thalassemia and 17 patients received the autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplantation for treatment of acute myeloid leukemia, chronic myeloid leukemia, acute lyphoid leukemia and lymphoma. The results have shown that the longest survival duration was 42 months after the autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplantation. The patients had a normal life such as learning, working and social activities. After 2 months of transplantation, the average disease free duration of 10 patients with AML and 6 patients with ALL were 27 months, and 30-40 months, respectively. This was an great encouragement.
